Composed with a foundation of black charcoal lacquer and meticulously gilded with 22-carat gold leaf, this singular work features over one thousand hand engraved lines, each etched with purpose. The piece invites its viewer into one of humanity’s oldest and most enduring myths: the battle between freedom and control. At its center Satoshi Nakamoto stands firm as the Archangel holding Bitcoin luminous weapon of defiance and freedom. Beneath him lies centralized financial system, the defeated beast, a grotesque, winged devil lies crushed and pierced by a radiant Bitcoin symbol. The devils once-dominant hand, still clutching the fading emblem of fiat, is visibly contorted — a powerful visual metaphor affirming that the age of centralized financial control is being overthrown reveals a deeper truth that Bitcoin users cannot be bent to the will of outdated powers, nor enslaved by the very weapon once used to control them.

The Archangel, cloaked in sacred armor stands firm with rised feathered wings etched in radiant symmetry. In one hand he holds a luminous Bitcoin weapon adorned with number 21 — symbolizing permanence while the infinity symbol across his chest whispers of boundless potential and incorruptible code.

On the back of the artwork, bitcoin block 896-989 was gold gilded to mark the time and the date when the artwork was finished.

Here, symbolism serves not merely as decoration, but as declaration. This is a battle of paradigms — a confrontation between the decaying architecture of imposed authority and the rising pulse of decentralized power. Victory and Defeat challenges the viewer to reflect on the forces shaping our world: who holds the power, and who dares to take it back.

Stronghold artwork was created in Asia using Thailand's ancient traditional gold gilding technique Lai Rot Nam which originated in 17th century.

This technique requires use of Burmese black lacquer (Thitsi) which is made from a special tree resin.

Symbology: Dragons are the most powerful mythical beings in ancient history and within this artwork they symbolises Satoshi Nakamoto, holding his creation in powerful, stable and unmovable manner what symbolises Bitcoin's late stability and record breaking value.

This artwork was gilded with 24 carat gold leaf and then scratched in with more then a thousand thin lines to reveal the image of two dragons strongly holding Bitcoin with four arms. Afterwards thin layer of high quality epoxy resin was applied as a top coat to protect the artwork and make it long lasting art piece.

This artwork was finished on block 834, 438 when Bitcoin value was record high at more than 73000 dollars. Number of the block was engraved on the back side of the artwork.

It was made by putting seven layers of black charcoal lacquer on the plywood for the foundation, gilded with more then fifty 22 carat gold leafs and covered in seven layers of clear lacquer for the finish. It took around 160 hours to finish this art piece.

Symbology of the artwork:

Anonymous mask with infinity symbol on its forehead symbolizes Satoshi Nakamoto the founding father of Bitcoin who did not placed any limits on his creation leaving it with the infinite potential in its value on the market.

The Bull symbolizes great power of Bitcoin to rise, grow and progress within the market.

The Eagle with the number 21 on its chest symbolizes financial freedom and strenght which is given to people by Bitcoin. Number twenty one symbolizes the final number of how many millions of bitcoin were created by Satoshi Nakamoto.

Symbology of the artwork:

Dragons have been part of East Asian cultures for more then 4,000 years. They are symbols of great power, wisdom, good fortune and health.

Due to Satoshi Nakomato name being of Asian origin and due to what it means to Bitcoin community, I depicted Satoshi Nakamoto in this art piece as this wise and powerful mythical being who shines on all of us with his pearls of wisdom, pushing us to be free and prosperous at all times. Waves at the bottom of the artwork symbolizes periodical surges of good fortune brought to us by Bitcoin.

This artwork was started at block 774,654 and finished at block 778,957. Numbers of blocks were gilded in 22 carat gold leaf on the back side of the artwork.

Bitcoin Thinker artwork symbolises head space where we often find ourselves when decision need to be made with regards to Bitcoin. Hold, buy or sell is the question we often face within our minds.

Artwork was inspired by the sculpture "The Thinker" made by French sculptor Auguste Rodin in 1904.

Bitcoin Thinker artwork was made on plywood, coated with five layers of black charcoal lacquer and sanded in between every layer for the foundation. Then the drawing was gilded with 22 carat gold leaf and covered in four layers of clear lacquer with sanding in between every layer. For the finish of the artwork it was polished and framed in authentic black matte frame.

Symbology of the artwork:

Due to Satoshi Nakamoto name being of Japanese origin, I decided to represent my vision through traditional Japanese cultural symbology.

I took traditional Japanese martial art Judo to represent the way of the battle between Satoshi Nakamoto’s Bitcoin and centralised banking system which is controlled by world’s elite.

Judo fighter with the Bitcoin symbol on his shoulder who is performing a judo throw on his opponent represents Bitcoin. While judo fighter who is flying through the air with one eye pyramid symbols on his chest represents world’s elite and centralised banking system.

The act in itself represents Satoshi Nakamoto’s Bitcoin as financial freedom symbol which is winning the battle and cannot be touched by centralised banking system which intends to control world’s finances.

Traditional Japanese Koi fish symbolizes strength, courage, patience, and success through perseverance. All these aspects are needed to succeed on the Bitcoin journey.

Japanese Torii gate on the bridge simbolically marks the transition from mundane to sacred world as from financial control to financial freedom world.

Pagoda tower and lotus flowers symbolizes the path to heightened awareness, enlightenment and heightened perception what enables us to see everything more clearly in all aspects of our lives.

Flying Crane represents peace, luck and longevity within Japanese culture. It is what all of us are striving for in our lives.

Small garden with the maple tree symbolizes serenity, beauty and magnificence what comes when we reach our goals and balance in life.
