ETH continues to lose value (road down to $50?)
by
BTCLovingDude
on 21/11/2018, 03:17:19 UTC
a while back i created the ETH, road down to $50?, i had to close it due to being spammed to oblivion. but many in that topic disagreed with price even going down to $200!

now we are closer to $100 and the dump continues.

when do you think $50 is going to happen?

Ether is underpriced right now

i am interested to know that how you are measuring this and based on what you are saying it is "underpriced"?
the supply and demand with ethereum's high supply and the fact that there is no cap for it tells us that it is overpriced actually!

i hope that it will never happen. i hope that the lowest price that the ethereum attain will be at 200$ . imagine from the 800$ dropped to the 200$ it would be the worst situation thay may happen in this industry. the deopping rate of the ceyptocurrency in this year is higjer than the rising up value of it's currency. i don't know if there's someone manipulate it

sorry but price already fell below $200 and it is 10% lower even.
and it didn't drop from $800 to $200 it  dropped from nearly $1500 down to $190 and will continue.
this is not manipulation, the manipulation occurred last year with the pump. this is now correction of that manipulation.

this topic got 40 pages of mindless spam with over 800 replies and is filled with nay sayers mostly those who didn't even believe ETH can drop below $300 let alone go to $50...

now look at where it is! $190 and still falling. it won't be long before we even see $50

Re: ETC worth as a long term or short term
by
BTCLovingDude
on 23/08/2018, 11:52:22 UTC
ethereum classic will always remain under the ethereum shadow despite ETC being the original chain and ETH being the forked coin. so its long term potential is always going to be limited and also all the bugs in ethereum platform is more visible on ETC since it is the smaller  coin and that prevents it from real growth. not to mention that the ethereum foundation doesn't allow its price to rise, they will dump it down because they don't want a competition and they have the 70+ million premiened coins to dump for free!

Re: How will ETF will affect altcoins if approved?
by
BTCLovingDude
on 23/08/2018, 11:00:10 UTC
in case of ETF approval we will first see a bitcoin price surge. since this was a long awaited rise a lot of people will move their money to invest in bitcoin. that money can partly come from their altcoin investments so as they pull their money out we may see a big drop in altcoin prices and since they have been ready for such drops the down-slide can be severe and huge.

considering in the past during bitcoin price surges like what i described altcoins usually get dumped i think the "drop" speculation is a likely one.

by

a year from now (about the time LTC having takes place) a lot of things may have already changed and the price may be literary anywhere.
for example we may see a big drop in LTC price as other better altcoins come up and change the top 5 places and replace all of them and push these coins down.
or we can finally see LTC lightning network pick up alongside bitcoin lightning network and we see a lot of adoption for bitcoin and consequently for litecoin also leading to its price rise. in which case we may even see above $2000 prices.

Re: Danger: Short Squeeze Imminent

Sure thing this ETF news will give a D*mn something
For now, I'd say expect the unexpected if ever the upcoming ETF has been approved. If not, then I suggest everyone do their usual and not get to worked up about what will happen in the next coming days. IMO, the price movements that we will see on Thursday or Friday is not that significant since it will recover anyway if we will see a mega short squeeze unless ETF has been approved.

this is just bitcoin going back up because it is very underpriced. people think it is because of ETF news and a lot of other things which is why they FOMO buy and then when they reject ETFs they panic sell.
for the time being we are on the rise and placing any kind of short is not a good idea in my opinion.

after reading your post, I think buying eth at $ 200 right now is great. But in my opinion, this will not happen, Eth is the currency that maintains the ethereum network. If at that price, What do you think are the ethereum ecosystems? lol

ETH doesn't need to be worth a lot to be able to "maintain the etehreum network". it is just a token that is used as a fuel for smart contracts, it could have had no value at all and still work.

that is the problem with ethereum bag holders. none of you even know what ETH is! you just hold it because you think it can make you rich.
in fact this is one of the main reasons why it is getting dumped.

Re: I have received some tokens. Should I sell or hold?
by
BTCLovingDude
on 22/08/2018, 04:27:56 UTC
short answer: yes.

long answer.
usually when you receive a token (specially when receiving it for free) it is best to sell it right away because there are hundreds, sometimes more of others receiving the same thing as you and THEY will dump and their dump means a price drop which you don't want to be buried under.
but if you have already missed the chance to dump and got buried under the load then it may not be worth selling anymore ONLY if it is a small amount. otherwise you should sell because there is always more dump where that came from.

Re: Where To Invest 750$
by

unless you are an experienced trader i would advise NOT investing in any altcoins under any circumstances because the risk of losing money in this market if you don't have experience is pretty high. and if you have experience then it is best to first invest in bitcoin and familiarizing yourself with that. after all everyone knows that bitcoin has the biggest potential and so far it has been giving the biggest returns.
then you can start trading altcoins if you feel confident and experienced enough.

stop panicking and start using your head!
ETH is not dying but it is not going to go up either. for the time being it is on a strong downtrend and as you can see today it started going back down again. which means you should not think about investing in it for as long as this dump is happening which may take a couple of more months.

Re: Until when does the price of crypto currency continue to fall?
by
BTCLovingDude
on 21/08/2018, 09:39:18 UTC
you should search more about what "bubbles" are and also while you are at it start reading a little about pump and dumps.

basically when price of something is fake due to manipulation or pump, it can not stay that way for long. eventually it will come back to reality and to a price that is closer to its real value.

wit that said, altcoins are still in big bubbles and their prices are a lot higher than their real values. that is why they continue to fall and each time you think the fall was over you see the fall continue some more.

and Ethereum started its downfall again.

after the huge dump that we saw recently ETH had a small recovery which brought its price back up to $300 but because of lack of interest and because of a huge amount of Ether being dumped every day the price could not last up there for long and it once again started going down entering the $200 range again.

Re: Should There be a body to regulate Altcoins?
by
BTCLovingDude
on 21/08/2018, 08:01:11 UTC
i sometimes think about it whenever i see how terrible the situation with the altcoin market is from time to time. the need for some authority figure to slap the scammers on their wrist is felt in this market.

but then when you really think about it, a regulatory body is not going to solve much. they will introduce a lot of restrictions and also taxes in some countries big taxes which will push people to unregulated parts and the scams will continue. specifically when the scams such as pump and dumps can be more profitable than anything natural!
