Re: Breaking News-India is in Favor of Crypto, what’s next?
by

30th June was supposed to be another big day for Indian Crypto space. The FATF guidelineagaiict was onboard, but there seems to be a complete silence in-stream and nobody is talking about it. Read at COINPEDIA News to know more.
I don't understand how it could be a big day for Cryptos in India.Earlier when the RBI implied ban on crypto related companies in using bank transactions, supreme court rejected it as the RBI failed to prove Cryptos related transactions goes against public interest.
And now, even this time same could happen against govt rule banning Cryptos. So we would have to see whether the govt  applies same conditions against Cryptos.

          It would have no positive or negative impact on bitcoin adoption. CBDC(Central Bank Digital Currency) is just a digital form of a fiat currency.
          Actually traditional banking authorities have continuously failed in competing with the gradual growth of crypto currencies adoption globally.People mostly prefer Cryptos due to their decentralized nature and easy usage.
          So in order to make their fiat currencies to be used more, they have decided to release CBDC.
           China has recently checked its yen in digital form in some cities and now it's Japan's turn.

No way, it is the most precious currency in this generation and why would i give it as wedding gift. If i hold them at least it would increase my profit. I will plan something else as wedding gift but not bitcoin.

Yes, due to increase in porn websites people are getting addicted and their mind has become full of lust. Nowadays they don't mind have sex with a girl or boy, what they need at the end of day is fun.

Re: Could Bitcoin price increase to $1 Million one day?
by

Come on you need to be more realistic. The demand may be high but supply of bitcoin is less, in such a scenario you can't expect the price to $1 Million. Fundamentals are very much important to achieve such a huge price.

Because of its gaining popularity and the way its price is increasing day by day. Even your investment in Land or Gold wouldn't have fetched you so much return in next 20-25 years what bitcoin has fetched in 6-7 years. It is best investment in present scenario.

It can't be said whether its for rich only, It also belongs to those who are ready to take high amount of risk as nobody knows what would be the future of the currency. It is just regularization period post which it would be available for everyone that is what i think Smiley

Re: Extracting info using RPC

You can use a JSON library to parse the output (which is in JSON format) and then pull out the parts that you want. Or you can directly modify the source code for the RPC to only give you the info that you want.

Thanks for the speedy reply.

JSON is out of the question for this project and i have tried various commands such as getnethash etc etc but none work

Extracting info using RPC
by
BTC_1
on 15/12/2016, 19:13:20 UTC
Is it possible to extract specific info from a bitcoin rpc call

Example and im going to use an altcoin as its easier but I guess the same applies to BTC

I use the command "Swingd getmininginfo" and the out put is this:

Code:
"Blocks" : 405319,
    "Current Block Size" : 1000,
    "Current Block Tx" : 0,
    "Difficulty" : {
        "Proof of Work" : 2614987.07498234,
        "Proof of Stake" : 0.03581758,
        "Search Interval" : 1
    },
    "Block Value" : 159500000,
    "Net MH/s" : 72930415.36696009,
    "Net Stake Weight" : 922198.70837217,
    "Errors" : "",
    "Pooled Tx" : 0,
    "Stake Weight" : {
        "Minimum" : 61,
        "Maximum" : 0,
        "Combined" : 61
    },
    "Stake Interest" : 9000000,
    "Testnet" : false

Is it possible to adjust the command "getmininginfo" to display for example Net MH/s or Net Stake Weight instead of all the output ?

I am building a webpage that I want to show weight and net hash but not the rest of the out put

Thanks

I woudn't worry about escrow you are giving away for free so no one can lose and BTC can they, unless I have missed something
