Re: Betmics: Big innovation and even bigger BONUS! Bet on key economic data.

@pokerowned if don't want the bonus, contact us to remove it from you account and that's it. Of course we are not just giving free money to people, it's a business and we need to profit as well. I don't see why you are hating wordpress, I personally like it a lot.

@debuni I have interests in the area as well. I trade stocks and forex for many years and I created the website because a lot of traders would find it interesting.

You are right, there is a lot of work to do and I will do it. It's not a completed project yet, but that is why I released the website, I will be able to improve my website much faster if there is some constructive criticism from people like you. I personally like the design, it is simple and gets the job done.

And I understand why all of you are worried about the financial situation of the website, of course you wouldn't want your deposit to be stolen and your profits to be taken away from you. But I am playing the long game, this website will be around for many years and over time I am sure that nobody will doubt the credibility of betmics.

We are already betting with my trader friends and it's a lot of fun. We'll continue to do so. For those of you that are interested can give it a try, for those of you that have some good criticism, please share them but there is no point for comments like the one from @katerniko1

Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency
by
BTChaintrader
on 16/11/2015, 01:20:56 UTC
I wouldn't technically consider Bitcoin as a global currency, as it still isn't very widely known. Countries tend to like to have total control of their coin, and since Bitcoin is a P2P currency, their only kind of control is having a huge share of the 21 million coins. I really don't think it will become a global currency, as it is quite an unstable little thing.

Countries can't stop innovation. Bitcoin may not become a global currency but it will be used by hundreds of millions at least and when there is such an adoption, the price will stabilize as well.

Re: America's new debt ceiling - $19,600,000,000,000

Bitcoin is ultimately deflationary. After 2140 it is 100% deflationary because no new coins will ever be created, and the supply will keep naturally shrinking as people make mistakes and lose them (I doubt anyone will be willing to burn Bitcoins because by then 1 Bitcoin will be worth several billion dollars).

The price of Bitcoin will increase and goods will get cheaper. Don't forget the fact that you can divide Bitcoin into many decimals.

So problem solved.

Re: What if US Dollar Crashes?
by
BTChaintrader
on 13/11/2015, 21:58:24 UTC
If the US dollar crashes, bitcoin will most likely crash. This is because most of the bitcoin users are from the US, and with them gone, bitcoin will basically be much, much cheaper, as the americans try to sell their coins to get some sort of cash. Or maybe BTC will go up, they will try to convert their money into bitcoin, and cause a huge price spike.

It will have the opposite effect. People from around the world and in the US will see the inflation in the US and they will try to protect himself by buying gold, silver and of course bitcoin as well.

No one in their right mind will sell their bitcoins to buy a currency that is going through a hyperinflation. Keep in mind that people can shop with bitcoins and every business will start accepting bitcoins if their customers want to. So the entire dollar economy can shift pretty quickly to gold, silver and bitcoin.

Bitcoin can lead the digital world as it is a powerful payment method.
It can not replace the fiat money ever, but it can be one of the top (digital) currencies in the world.
What is needed for bitcoin to become more popular is when big stores implement bitcoin and people will gradually pay attention to bitcoin.

You never know. With all this fiat money printing, maybe someday people will realise how the system is eating their savings. The other think is that the banking system is really rubbish.

I agree! Bitcoin is the cheapest you will find right now in the next 5 years in my opinion. The price is very stable too, so even if there is not a big move to let's say 500$, you are still okay due to the stable range we are in.

Bernie Sanders seems to me to be the most progressive, and reasonable, candidate available - his policies, many of which he seems to have held since, like, forever now, are quite sensible and, looking at some of his interviews, he is pretty straight forward about what they are, and how he would put them in place.

He sounds good. His plan is good on paper.

BUT!

How is he going to pay for all of this stuff? Did you know that if he does everything he says he is going to do, it will cost him 18 TRILLIONS$?

He is just lying...

Re: mexico vs usa, who will win

I don't think Mexico and USA will ever have to fight against each other. But everybody know that USA has the strongest military in the world, so there is no chance for Mexico.

Especially if Trump is the president, then the USA will be tired of winning. Winning, after winning, after winning....

I dont know if War is the solution for the ongoing crises but Russia should make sure that no innocent die because of their action. Hope Syria crises will end in this year.

Unfortunately there is no ending to the Syrian crisis in Syria continues to exist. In my opinion the crisis will end when Syria gets splitted between the parties.

Re: Is it better to save money or invest it?

If you can invest then invest. But if you can't, then you are just going to lose your money.

Of course there is the learning part, where you need to take small amounts of money, invest it and see what happens.

It's very hard to predict what is the future of Bitcoin but there always be a market for cryptocurrencies for sure. I don't think that cryptocurrencies will ever go away and nobody can do anything about that.

In the next 18 months, I will be happy if Bitcoin hits a stable price range. When the price is stable, adoption is easier.

Re: The Death of Money
by
BTChaintrader
on 15/10/2015, 10:07:54 UTC

It does, but I still claim that the traditional money won't dissappear just like that. Older generation would never get used to only a digital currency. Do you know that in France still exist people that make all of the calculations from euros back to the francs? All of the prices are also shown in francs and in euros in stores.

Subsequently I think that the wave of the biggest change will be introduced by the banks and their private blockchains and private digital currencies!

Bitcoin is the money of the future. The older generation will eventually die and the new generation will adopt it.

Re: Spending VERY Large Amounts of Bitcoin?
by
BTChaintrader
on 15/10/2015, 10:05:27 UTC
I don't think anybody with such a large amounts of Bitcoins will try to sell them at once. Maybe in the future when some big businesses start accepting Bitcoin and then from time to time they will exchange there Bitcoins for dollars for example, but they the will buy some Bitcoins back in my opinion.

Re: Price going up for no apparent reason?
by
BTChaintrader
on 15/10/2015, 09:58:27 UTC
What is the reason?

What do we not know?

Just a another manipulation for a short pump and dump? We haven't had one of those for quite a time.

A lot of bad fundamentals from around the world which are driving the stock market and the dollar down. In this situation it is natural to see the Bitcoin price rising.

Which by the way means that if there is crisis like 2008, Bitcoin will skyrocket just like gold. Good news!

Re: How do you feel about the negative reputation of the bitcoin currency?
by
BTChaintrader
on 14/10/2015, 14:32:30 UTC
US dollar is also used in many criminal activities. Does it have negative reputations?

BTC is used 90% by the "black markets"(which includes HYIPs aka "Forex") . Without them, BTC would not exist or its value would be almost zero.

That's not true at all. 80-90% of the drugs are still sold for dollars or euros. HYIPs are very different than Forex and by the way, the biggest fraud we are seeing right now (at least the smart people are seeing) is happening on Wall Street with the help of FED, they all use dollars.

O did I mention that with the help of the dollar, US government is funding a lot of wars and killing a lot of people?

in future im sure bitcoin will be stable at ~$500 (after mining ended)
more country will be use bitcoin, and bitcoin will be number 1 online payment

Why would a country use a system like Bitcoin? A country wants to control its currency and it's a normal thing to do that Smiley

It's not what the country wants to do (the state), it's what the people in that country willing to use in a form of currency.
