Newer nvidia cards are great with power consumption. In one of my rigs 3x gtx 1060 draws only 75W each and do not get hotter than 58 degrees.
May consider to sell that mining rig  (PM if interested) to get 1080Ti or few.

There is alot of hardware you can start to mine with. Just do a research on forum. You have to decide to mine altcoins or bitcoin too.

Maybe there is some site where we can see in % how big is the chance to find a block while mining solo ? That would be awesome.

Those solar panels are awesome. But using miners for heating house is common thing, very efficient in some cases. That how it's comes for free.

Even being in 1 mil. club is good, not to mention 21. It is needed to correct that amount of each club having, but than again, no one knows, how many coins will be distributed between these categories.

The price is stabilizing at current level, it will rise after a while again, next big target could be between 600-800, after what it would stabilize at ~ 400-500$.

Try solominging, that is a lottery but it has atleast some chance to get something big back. You earn less than in most of faucets.

use wallet where you are in control of your coins.
Do not trust no 3rd party your coins.
Simplest will be bitcoin core, eletrum.

Nice show you got there. Good to have girl in here too.
I would suggest you just keep those coins, in offline wallet. Just keep them for few years if you do not have need for spending them. Tehy will gain value over time.
If you need to convert them to some cash, use big exchanges already metioned here: Bitstamp and so on.

Re: Bitcoin Mining Farm
by
BTCish
on 21/11/2015, 19:08:15 UTC
Hello Guys,

First of all thank you all for your valuable feedbacks. I have again recalculated my figures based on 100 Spondoolies SP50s. This is the link to that calculation. Could you guys please have a look at this ?

https://btcserv.net/bitcoin-mining-calculator?hashrate=11&hashrate_unit=peta¤cy=USD&difficulty=65848255180&block_value=25.00&btc_rate=324.53&watt=1657000&kwh_cost=4.2&kwh_currency=INR&hardware_cost=5000000&hardware_currency=USD&pps=0.000000000152

Also, the place of the proposed server farm is kind of a hilly area with snow peaked mountains surrounding it. Average temperature during summers is maximum: 22C and during winters is 2c. Will it reduce my cooling costs.

Try to use this calculator:
https://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/calculator
do not forget to fill all fields. Spondoolies does not have anything in stock, noone know if there will be something in stock at all.

Lower temperatures will lower your overall costs, you will spend less money for cooling those miners.

I have lost BTC in many of the ponzis, sometimes just joining too late, sometimes just can't stop reinvesting. last one was Adbrook, lst a lot in there. But anyway, do not invest if you are not ready to loose that amount, never try to invest last $ or BTC.

I don't understand this thread. If you are holder of a considerable amount of BTC I doubt you would be dumb enough to give out this information unless you want to be targeted by hackers looking for big fishes to reap.

That kind of answers that you are holding a lot of bitcoin Smiley Is it really worth to someone to try steal bitcoins, if there is only 1 of them  ? Technically answer to this thread is yes or no, other details is if you want to say more Smiley We can not be sure if the people posting here really has that amount.
