Im currently building an exchange only for Blackcoin / Fiat. No other crap coins. It's not entirely an exchange since there will be no sell/buy orders. Only instant trades, no accounts that hold coins, so no security problems. Payments will be done via Mistercash, iDEAL, Paypal and several other instant payment options. The trade platform will only be made exclusively for Blackcoin. I will also be working on an merchant API next to the exchange.
Basicly its much like Bitonic.nl - but then for Blackcoin only.
I need some help though. First of all. A name. I was thinking about Blacksafe myself, but could be different aswell. If you got some idea's. Throw them at me!
Next, im all open for new ideas. For an example: should it be a member only trade platform, or something different? Maybe something cool would be if the members of the platform get a free Blackcoincard. Not sure.. just some idea's.. anyone else got some idea's? Let me know! I want this exchange to be UNIQUE and EXCLUSIVE.
Instead of UNIQUE and EXCLUSIVE, surely an exchange works best when it is OPEN and INCLUSIVE? you want the pump? go ahead and pump. you know what i'm going to do then? i'm going to dump my coins, then wait till we arrive at the new floor and buy back more coins again. This is what every single day-trader would do here that knows a pump is being planned. If you know there's going to be a pump, then you would obviously ride that wave for your own benefit. you can ALWAYS trust human greed.
I'm being 100% honest here. I'm not saying pump it up, and i'll hold my coins. i wouldn't. i'd day-trade like a boss and ride the pump all the way to the bank. you think that's not what the pump-cry-guys are going to do?

No. You would not know for sure. Even if it was an artificial pump. Others might think it's real and then it might just end up being real. The new floor could be well higher then your dump price.

Is it plausible for one of the sites to put together an updating list with the prices from the exchange on them. As much as I love Mintpal, it would seem like it would be more intelligent to have a coin price to look at where you could go for the best price. Otherwise people are just bombarding cryptsy and mintpal, but not even getting a good deal. The other exchanges have far better or worse prices, (depending on whether or people are buying or selling.)
I might have to ask dailyblackcoin myself.
Here's a little WIP I have going on:Is it plausible for one of the sites to put together an updating list with the prices from the exchange on them. As much as I love Mintpal, it would seem like it would be more intelligent to have a coin price to look at where you could go for the best price. Otherwise people are just bombarding cryptsy and mintpal, but not even getting a good deal. The other exchanges have far better or worse prices, (depending on whether or people are buying or selling.)
I might have to ask dailyblackcoin myself.

Prelude exchange would be good but also a separate list for fiat/bc would be good as well.
Is this something that you want to develop as part of your own projects. Or would you have it implemented on another site? I'm just thinking it would be most worthwhile for us to have most of the information we need on the same site.
But if your developing your own thing, much credit to you anyway. I'd certainly stand by people taking the initiative and building there own resources and sites.
Adding extra exchanges would be pretty straightforward if they have an API similar to those I already have. Similarly for fiats/BC (probably via the other BitcoinAverage BTC/fiat numbers).
I hadn't thought about having it integrated/hosted anywhere else to be honest - I hadn't gotten that far along to consider something like that yet.

Last night there was post about how to raise fund/pool to be able to eat sell walls. What about buying share for a KNC miner (when it will be available of course) like the one you can buy at the black coin shop. BTC generated would then be used to enable the black shield.
How about crowdfunding a mining rig? Say everyone chips in 10-1000 dollars. Like a "kickstarter" Campaign. They get shares from the pool in return. Maybe have a blackcoin kickstarter for a mining rig to mine itself. All gridseeds or knc. 1000 people donate and we got ourselves a 40K rig.

What is driving the rise? Something sustainable?
What caused the dump?
The big bag holders cashed out with big profit
How do you know they haven't slowly bought back in with their cash pile and are now pumping the price again?
