Re: I will never sell my Alts for loss: Prefer to take them to the cemetery!

As long as I live live I will not sell my Alts at a loss.
It is a shame that Bitches are selling: These bitches can’t see 2 years from NOW: Booming!
I primarily hold Cardano!

Primarily am a holder but there are some altcoins that ain't worth holding so they needed to be  sold and what you need to understand is that most people sell their alts at a losss not because they want to but they don't want to keep seeing it in their wallet

Re: You Can't Be Jobless And Be Participating In Bounties
by
Babbylily1112

Truth be told. You can't be jobless and be doing bounties. You will starve  Grin

My advice is to just see bounties as a pass time and don't be too expectant. Find some other job that gives you money. So many factors determine if you will get good rewards from bounties. For instance, when it lists, the price is out of the control of the team (unless they decide to do a buyback which rarely happens). The price of the token can rise if there is a lot of demand for it when it lists. But most times (since the bear run) the demand is low and to make it worse, several holders set ridiculously low prices just to sell off which devalues the coin.

Another factor that determines your reward is the authenticity as well as the success of the team and its project. Many campaigns have closed down in the past after several months of working on them only to announce that they failed to raise enough funds for the project. Worse case is the team devs exit scam and no one gets paid.

Project owners can also decide to execute their "reserved rights" by changing the rules at the end of successful campaigns. Rules changes can usually mean bounty rewards are reduced, locked, subjected to uninformed KYC checks, or distributed over a very long period of time.

If you consider all this then you will see that bounty campaigns are a gamble and cannot be always relied on to provide regular income for people participating in it. Those that participated in Deex bounty campaign (which ended in January 2019) are still waiting for their rewards (3 months after) and the devs are not communicating any date for the distribution. If you ask them they will say "soon". They have been saying "soon" since January, by the way. I'm not trying to slander the project or anything. I'm just advising fellow bounty hunters to try to get something else to do that will fetch them money and not to rely too much on bounty campaigns for payments.

I totally disagree with you on this, I have a friend who has been out of job for 2yrs now and I introduced him to cryptocurrency. He dedicated to it by running bounty campaigns and for each concluded project, I know how much he makes cos for each project, he does all the campaigns in it and most importantly he doesn't just do anyhow project, he takes his time to research before he embarks on it

Re: Why are you still hodling that shitcoin?
by

For the fact that you called it shit means that it is worthless  so there is nothing that can be done than to let it sit in the wallet and even if you decided to sell off like that you will find out that the gain won't even be able to pay withdrawal fee

It's evident that old projects have really impacted the blockchian in a very positive way but nonetheless there are very great projects springing up and we don't have to overlook that and we shouldn't be surprised that this new projects will overthrow the old ones

90% of most Airdrops now are faked so thats the main reason you don't jump into any one you see, you need to do your research for every project that you wish to be a part of as it will help you to avoid joing the wrong ones

Re: KYC defeats the purpose of Crypto. Thoughts anyone?
by

This is exactly my thought about KYC, it contradicts the essence of Crypto which is anonymity irrespective of the facts that most projects now see it as a way of their assurance of transacting with the right people

Re: The Spirit of Bounty Hunting
by
Babbylily1112
on 20/04/2019, 09:55:19 UTC
For you to succeed as a bounty hunter, you must keep up with the followimg spirit:

1. Spirit of Positivity
When others are thinking it is over, always tell yourself that you have just started writing your own success story in this space, notwithstanding your achievements or losses so far.

2. Spirit of Patience
To succeed, you must be able to wait to get the best from the crypto space. Never be in a haste to sell and never be in a haste to promote just any project. Take your time to study every circumstance and make good use of it.

3. Spirit of Wisdom
You must be wise in your dealings. Know when to sell when not to, even while being patient.
Also know this, you are not here to promote and  sell alone, you can also buy and make good profit from the coin you have bought.
Being a bounty hunter is always an opportunity for you to be able to recognise good coin and understand such coin so well than any other person.
Apply what you know to get what you want and what is best for you.

4. Spirit of perseverance
As a bounty hunter, you should not allow yourself to get tired or go weary, because of the present situation of things. Always look beyond the present time. Look into what the future hold.

5. Spirit of Vigilance
What ever project you are participating in, while working to promote the project in your own sincerity, you must be watchful over cheaters, who steal other people's work and reap them of their reward.
You must be vigilant, because you too might be a victim.

If you can imbibe these attitudes, you will definitely see yourself floating at the top instead of wallowing in the dip.

The list continues...

This is the most important points to me as a bounty hunter, it has keep me this far, some of my friends have given up when the market was so bad cos they didn't posses this important spirit and I also want to add

6. Spirit of dedication- as a bounty hunter if you ain't dedicated you won't succeed, and by dedication I mean signing up for a campaign and seeing it to the end as that will help to get maximum token

Re: Greed is bringing loss for traders
by
Babbylily1112
on 20/04/2019, 09:48:16 UTC
Naturally, traders come to crypto currency with a loyal and considerate mindset
Which is to make profits from 1% - 50%

I.e a trader of 100$ investments wishes to get 150$ (50$ profit). But when the bull spikes comes in; instead of cashing out their profit, Begins to imagine building mansions and suddenly wants to hodl to 3000$

When they wake up the next day and are left with 25$; they say altcoin is shit, that is shit

What can be done to ease greed amongst investors ??

I don't see it as been greed,  this is normal with every human but nonetheless it has made traders that would have made quite a good profit from trading to have little or nothing at the end of the day

Personally I wouldn't suggest using your laptop as it's a waste of energy and you will end up with little or nothing at the end of the month. But come to think of it does Mining really pays at its use to before
