by

on 03/04/2018, 14:31:36 UTC
HODL is slang for “Hold On for Dear Life.” It means that the price fluctuations associated with the crypto are so great, but the expected return is also so great that you are going to want to ride through the downturns are take advantage of the price increases.

Bitcoin - Because bitcoin has been enjoying the king’s throne
Ethereum - Probably the safest
Ripple - Ripple seems to be the number one option for a lot of people because it is fast, well connected to bitcoin, and closely tied with financial institutions.
Iota - They are dedicated to B2B transactions.
Steem - I’d say steem is an exception because quality & curated content is a need of tomorrow. There is enough junk on the internet, perhaps putting in some faith into the steem platform would be worth it.

WAVES is not only representing a currency that has experienced positive changes in value for no reason whatsoever – it is quite the opposite: advanced technology and exclusive operations enabled through WAVES platform altogether make this currency one of the top wanted digital coins currently available on the market, definitely earning all the given interest.

Eth because The future of ethereum contains a lot more hopes than Bitcoin does. Creating another Bitcoin is much easier than it is creating an ethereum that is running efficiently. We have many other coins that are working better as a peer to peer transfer of digital currencies like Litecoin and Vertcoin. We have been seeing Bitcoins dominance in market cap dropping down and with Ethereums market cap going up.

Re: Ripple vs Ethereum
by
Babyboy423
on 29/03/2018, 14:14:57 UTC
Ethereum can be mined, while Ripple cannot be mined. (Ethereum does not have a supply cap as of this writing whereas Ripple is finite and has a total supply of 100,000,000,000)
Ethereum is a blockchain which decentralized apps can adopt or build on. Ripple is similar to a software which can be adopted by banks or financial insitutions to carry out transactions.
Each Ethereum transaction costs ‘Gas’ that goes to the miners that complete or confirm your transactions. Whereas Ripple gets destroyed after every transaction.

Re: Will Crypto end?
by
Babyboy423
on 27/03/2018, 11:59:47 UTC
I wouldn’t say this is the end. Based on what I am observing, the people who are exiting at the moment seem to be those who invested in cryptocurrencies thinking this is a ‘get rich quick’ scheme that actually works. It isn’t. In the end, those who believe in cryptocurrencies will remain and they’ll be the ones holding the coins. And then eventually, this cycle will repeat all over again.

If you don’t have time for daytrading or swingtrading then your best bet is mining. This will require a big investment that can range from $2k to $10k+ depending on what you are willing to spend on your rig and how much money you are looking to make in the long run.

The Cryptomarket has always had its up and downs, and this recent crash isn’t anything new. Just wait it out and watch as the market bounces back after a while. If your planning to buy bitcoin or some sort of cyptocurrency then go ahead just make sure you know which one your planning to invest and don’t place your life savings into said investment.

Re: IOTA vs IoT???
by
Babyboy423
on 22/03/2018, 01:08:23 UTC
IoT is the future, whether we like it or not. More and more of everyday things are being connected to the internet. IOTA is a coin that mainly focuses on IoT. It has no transaction fees, lightning fast transactions (the bigger the community, faster the transactions will be), no need for miners, no added electricity consumption… And it uses tangle, not blockchain. It’s a third-generation crypto currency.

It is worth investing in because it still isn’t fully released. We can expect lots of gains in 2018.

Re: Bitcoin is better than gold
by
Babyboy423
on 11/03/2018, 15:59:19 UTC
Gold, as long as you are buying physical bullion and have a place to store it safely, is the only asset with no counter-party risk, and has tended to keep its purchasing power throughout history. It has no yield, but makes an excellent hedge against the loss of purchasing power of cash.

Bitcoins are something totally unique in that they have a very strict increase in supply, and the blockchain is public. It serves as a world-currency that can easily be transfered across borders, but it has drawbacks like low transaction speed.

There is so much more to each of these assets, and I strongly suggest you read more about each and understand further what you would be buying with each one before you go about doing it. You should be able to answer your question here for yourself.

Bounty campaign is a great way to enter crypto world without money. Companies pay you their token for  social media action like retweet, repost . if you have  free time. try it . the best way to be in touch with all new ICOs is telegram channels. since there always a limit for a number of participants, you should be quick to be in right place in right time .

Sounds like they’re planning on launching their own crypto asset and don’t want to deal with competing products based on Mark Zuckerberg’s previous post on the subject: "There are important counter-trends to this -like encryption and cryptocurrency - that take power from centralized systems and put it back into people’s hands. But they come with the risk of being harder to control. I’m interested to go deeper and study the positive and negative aspects of these technologies, and how best to use them in our services

Re: How to know which coins are good?
by
Babyboy423
on 11/03/2018, 14:37:39 UTC
A simple answer is to look at their motto, distribution model and their unique selling points. with thousands of alt-coins and tokens popping up each day. the more time you can end up wasting, but it might  eventually pay off. also a wise approach  is to find pre-launch, very new coins.

Re: Do you like airdrops?
by
Babyboy423
on 11/03/2018, 14:33:11 UTC
Yes of course . it make sense  to get  crypto  from airdrop because  you are not investing single penny  but you get coins worth of thousands. an airdrop usually  new, company is giving away  a certain  amount of coins or token to people whio sign up for the airdrop  with them. hey usually have a few things they want you to do, like follow them on twitter, slack and/ or telegram and share their posts with others or something similar.
