that sounds like every ico project in 2017-2018.
most of them are now extinct since they don't care about the price and the price kept on plummeting.
let's be realistic here, people buy coins because they want to see the price goes up so they can get profit, not just waiting and waiting then finally sell at a loss.

real airdrop is now dead.
a lot of projects are announcing their airdrop, but it's not really an airdrop since we have to do few, sometimes a lot of, tasks.
we have to dedicate time and effort for it, that's why i don't bother with airdrop anymore.
it's now better to go for exchanges' rewards, such as bonus trade, holding certain token, etc.

bounty hunters don't really matter in this case.
don't forget about people who bought in pre-ico with cheaper price and often with big bonus, some even get 100% bonus.

all giveaways is 50% scam, becouse for got ETH you want follow in social networks, and many people want followers and subscrybers.
and they makeing bad scams. and airdrops 50% is to scam, all new HYIP sites is scam, in my opinion.

for omeno giveaway, they didn't require participants to send anything but follow their social medias.
is it legit or scam?
we'll never know until it happens.
BUT for this giveaway, it's kinda strange since omeno had difficulties in their ico.
they didn't even reach softcap so they had to extended their ico, and now they're giving away 10 ether.
idk, maybe they're really giving it away, but still, it's strange.

it is now august 2018, airdrop isn't as good as it used to be.
airdrop nowadays more like a hit and miss.
back in 2017, a there were a lot of good airdrops, like rebl, btw, leverj (this one distributed in mid 2018 though), and all gave me good amount of $$$.
the highest one was btw (now bitwhite).
i got around 1000 coins iirc, touched $0.9 when it entered exchange.
all from just filling simple data through telegram bot, no kyc needed.
those were the days

i thought, okay, i'll just use this one and become a full member in few months time, then this merit rules came up.
now look at my account, enough activity points to be a full member but still a jr. member because i have no merit at all.

Myself, I am on that list of all-time most generous merit-senders, but the catch is that I don't merit anyone who writes crappy English--unless the post is particularly useful and I can reasonably understand it. Sadly, most posts forum-wide don't meet those criteria. I love handing out merits to posts that deserve it, but the vast majority of posts by the non-native English writers aren't even constructive. Most are vapid nonsense obviously designed to meet the minimum number of characters such that the writer will get paid from the campaign he's in.
