If you just phone up Ebay, they can upgrade you're selling limits instantly for free. Just takes a few minutes to phone them up.

You could also sell them here on the forum marketplace, but you'll need proof and probably have to use escrow since your a new member.

All the pumps and fans are working fine.

Sadly being a miner in the UK is hard but can get a few good deals if you can travel around, I'll keep an eye out for stuff for you and I'm always looking for bigger miners to

Cheers,

Yes it always seems to be a bit more of a struggle. I'm just watching the forum and sites like eBay just in case someone posts some for sale not at an outrageous price.

If you are in the US, I will send you a non-working gekkoscience usb miner for free

Thank you for the offer but i'm located in the UK, so unless there is a great bargain on international deliveries at the moment it is probably not worth the cost.

If postage can be found for relatively cheap, I am willing to pay plus a tip for your time  Wink

The stats for the main miner are off because they have 12000 miners which the hashmeter can no longer measure accurately and is only showing 52ph.
Any plans to fix this?

Probably not worth CK's time and effort since the pool is not regularly like this, and 12000 miners is also quite an abnormal amount, so unless it becomes a regular occurrence and issue it''s not worth it.

Re: Remote access to miners
by

on 04/06/2018, 11:46:00 UTC
You could setup a simple VPN using a raspberry pi at each pub which would allow you to remote into the network, open the web console and change the details. (but this is a lot of effort)

If you used a DDNS setup, then no matter if the global IP of that network changed, you could still connect to each network.

You're other (and better) option is to connect each of the miners to your home network using a VPN, which would then allow you to use applications like multiminer or just a web browser to access them. I don't know how latency and broadband speeds would effect this however.

You're router may be able to host a DDNS VPN making the 2nd way quite easy. My ASUS-DSLAC68U is currently setup to do this, and i use it to check up on my miners controlled using Minera on a rasperry pi.

Looking to buy 20 or so old, used USB miners.

I'm looking for around 20 of either Antminer U1/U2 or Block Erupters specifically.

Any condition as long as working, looking to pay around $50 + shipping

Yes, i know these are not profitable, so would be running them just for fun on CKPool.

Can pay BTC directly, or Forum escrow. Whichever is fine with me.

$50 each or for all 20?

$50 for all 20. I would be mad to buy them at $50 each.

Let's go ahead and snub this  Wink

I'll pay $80 for 20 block erupters working if you got em!  (i can give them a good home with another 30 on hand..all to be kept for the next 40 years)

You should run the ones you have solo mining and see if you get lucky, just for the fun of it. You might win the Bitcoin lottery  Cheesy

not worth having to procure more USB3 hubs - the power supplies for the ones I bought all died already and the USB 2 hubs I picked up before those had died as well...I"ve got a bitfury 200GH(ish - since mainboard is dead... should be running around 400 GH) that would be more better suited for solo-ing...if I can snag a new m-board for it (which is unlikely), I'd definitely turn it on for solo mining

I'd love to buy your old USB miners to mine at CKPool, but I understand if you don't want to part with them. I have a Antminer U3 which runs solo, and I would never sell it since its my only miner have now.

I think these are going for $30-$50 each elsewhere

Yeah, seems like people are listing at high prices to those who are new to bitcoin mining, not sure how many are actually sold though.

You never know until you ask though, i'm sure many forum members just have a box of them gathering dust, so using them to mine on CKPool just for fun makes use of them at least.

[WTB] USB Miners - Antminer/ASICMiner/Bitfury/Avalon - Any Condition - SHA256
by
BadgerHobbs
on 28/05/2018, 16:05:23 UTC
Looking to buy your old, dusty, used USB miners to solo mine with for fun.

I'm looking at around 5-10$ per unit (this depends on quantity and quality).

This is below the Ebay price hike but since i will be mining with them until they die and not reselling, I'm not prepared to pay $50+ for a 330MH/s Block Erupter.

So far i am unable to find any at a reasonable price, after contacting Bitmain and Canaan directly they have none lying around (I guess it was a long shot).

I'm looking for:
Antminer U1
Antminer U2
ASICMiner Block Erupter
Avalon Nano
Bitfury Red Fury
Bitfury Nano Fury

I will accept any condition, but the price will reflect this.

Re: Avalon A7 announced

I have an issue where my Avalon 741 is only hashing at around 3.6TH for some reason.

It is running off a Bitmain 1600W PSU so that is not the problem.

From what i can see from the log, 2/4 of the MW pieces are all 0, which i assume means that they are not hashing, which would explain the 50% speed.

I've updated the firmware, left it running with and without the controller plugged in, attempting to reset it somehow but it the issue still persists.

This is the log:
