Re: Will bitcoin ever stop depending on fiat currency?
by
Baekhyun
on 04/09/2018, 18:44:17 UTC
it seems that crypto dominance will not be able to replace the power of fiat money, fiat money continues to be used because it is considered safer and stable when compared to crypto. In addition, the government will not easily give up the national financial system to a decentralized system because it is very risky.

Re: Market stabilizes.

Until now after a huge market price fall down crypto market was exhausted after some market price corrections. And i do believe really on bitcoin seeing market price remains at 6K USD per BTC even if some altcoin had drop to almost 50% of its market price from before compared to the current market price. Market price slowly increasing yet it is still not could compromise the huge fall down on crypto market.
if the stability of bitcoin continues to occur maybe the attractiveness of bitcoin as a volatile investment tool will decrease, I personally prefer the price of bitcoin which continues to fluctuate because more surprises will occur.

Re: Could we expect more years like "2017"?

I think 2018 is not a good year for bitcoin but if you look in the future there are still a few months and maybe a miracle happens and bitcoin can return to its glory, but if that doesn't happen then face the reality and don't give up because there are still 2019 that might be year for crypto.

Re: You've earned tons of tokens, NOW WHAT?

I will do both, I convert 50% to fiat money and I hold 50% for long-term investments. I think this method is quite effective because most ICO projects cannot necessarily compete with the top 10 coins in the marketcap, only those who have a strong foundation can compete and the rest are shit coins.

Re: What will keep people from getting into cryptocurrency?
by

some of my friends are worried and stay away from crypto because their status has not yet passed in my country which can raise the issue that crypto is a fraud. they are worried because there is a lot of stimulation in my country which states that crypto is negative, and my friends believe that because the media makes the explanation more logical.

Re: The future of crypto money
by

Crypto's future might be as bright as you say, but if the government continues to ban, I think it will take a long time. the government will not just give up the economic system in a decentralized system because it is too risky. but if crypto continues to grow and bring positive things I think that will happen.

You can say this is the end but this is the beginning for newcomers to invest because they can start at a low price. this topic never seems to end, some people manipulate until there is a large-scale sale, I think this is part of a short-term investment strategy.

Re: Venezuela Wants to Launch a Central Bank for Cryptocurrencies
by

on 03/09/2018, 09:55:00 UTC
this issue is quite shocking to the world, maybe there is no other option for Venezuela to get out of its economic crisis all this time, because the Bolivar as its national currency is worthless, just imagine you have to pay a few million bolivars to buy a cup of coffee, this doesn't make sense .
but I've heard the news that now Venezuela has issued a new national currency by eliminating some zero digits behind the value of money, I think this method is quite unique but invites pros and cons.

Re: Are fiat currencies necessary in the world?
by
Baekhyun
on 03/09/2018, 09:33:20 UTC
I think fiat money will always be used even though crypto dominance continues to grow, the fact is that some regions do not fully have the same level of technological progress, even in some places, the distribution of internet facilities has not been evenly distributed.
Another reason is that the government cannot fully trust the decentralization system, this will make the national economy out of control.

Re: Please, we should not totally eliminate fiat currency
by

on 02/09/2018, 23:48:47 UTC
From what I have seen so far in this forum and other crypto platforms, most of us want fiat eliminated. But let us not forget that there are still situations whereby we can't use crypto except fiat like in rural places without computers or even internet facilities.
why are you so worried? all opinions that say that fiat money will lose to cryptocurrency is just a speculation, Fiat money will continue to be used while crypto continues to grow. Moreover, not all regions can accept crypto because technology is not evenly distributed in some regions.

Re: Friends reactions to crypto currencies?
by
Baekhyun
on 02/09/2018, 23:36:17 UTC
I was questioned on crypto currencies legalization. I explained the facts happening around. Few received it with convincing reactions and few just ignored it. I really felt bad for the guys who did not care about crypto currencies as I really know the fruitfulness? I happily taught few others about crypto currencies. What was your friends expression when you introduced bitcoin to them?
I get bad reactions too, so I prefer to be quiet and wait for the results I get to make them regret having underestimated me. it will only waste time to argue with them because they have not seen concrete evidence.

Re: Why government announce bitcoin is illegal?
by

on 02/09/2018, 23:32:08 UTC
We know Bitcoin is one of the powerful and top coin in marketplace.
But world wide all county are announced its illegal.
I personally think that bitcoin is very help us for paying any payment.
Its has many facility.
But our government are announced its illegal
not all countries consider it illegal, even many countries have been encouraged to legalize bitcoin. The digital age has now begun and the government is starting to compete to compete in the international economy, cryptocurrency technology can be a thing that will be popular in the future, and countries that cannot accept bitcoin will probably be left behind.

Re: Will banks disappear because of cryptocurrency?
by
Baekhyun
on 28/08/2018, 15:34:08 UTC
The bank will not collapse, the bank system strongly supports the economic system of a country and even many governments use banks as a means of procuring the economy such as employee salary payments, and other services. The government will continue to use the bank because the system is centralized and can be monitored, crypto domination will cooperate with the bank system in the future so a regulation is needed to regulate it all.

of course hold it, there is no choice other than that or you will lose a lot. keep it consistent, maybe the ETH will be difficult to reach $ 900 again but at least it will continue to grow and it might be better than the price now. so don't panic and keep looking at the marketcap, do other things while waiting for the ETH to get better.

Re: Maybe I give up earning money from ICO
by
Baekhyun
on 28/08/2018, 15:09:22 UTC
I know I have responsibility for my money. It's my choice and I don't hate anybody, I just hate myself
risk is everywhere, even though we have filtered the good ICO but the risk still exists, therefore don't spend all your money on just one ICO. breaking it into several coins might be a good alternative because you will have a reserve of coins.
Basically not all ICOs are scams, so don't give up on continuing to invest, maybe luck is at another time, who knows?

Re: ETH so popular
by
Baekhyun
on 28/08/2018, 14:54:41 UTC
ETH became the main competitor of bitcoin, ETH became popular because it was widely used in the conversion of coins and as prizes given for bounty programs. But the ETH is now quite bad after last June the price reached $ 450, down around 30%. Perhaps the main factor is the amount of ETH circulating has exceeded circulating supply and this has caused the ETH to be unlimited.

Re: Bitcoin will survive enemies it has created ??
by
Baekhyun
on 27/08/2018, 13:00:12 UTC
Bitcoin is trying to eliminate US Dollar, Euro (world currencies), banks, gold, silver, anti-government, debit cards and credit cards, anti-tax

How will Bitcoin survive the many enemies it has created by declaring itself a revolution in payment system and decentralization??
I do not agree with your assumption, US Dollar, Euro (world currencies), banks, gold, silver debit cards and credit cards are not enemies of bitcoin, bitcoin is one of the digital payment tools that can be used as an alternative among the things you mentioned before.
Although bitcoin has dominated in the future I think US dollars and euros will still be a big part of the economy in the world.

Re: SHOULD WE GET ALL HATERS OF BITCOIN OUT OF HERE?

we cannot deny that there is no perfect system in this world, it is the same as cryptocurrency. then do not be closed to the criticism given, because a system will grow stronger with a lot of criticism given.
But I agree with the idea to ban forum users who spread false news, they will only harm investors, especially newbies. Therefore we have to filter the news.

Re: Negotiation with government

What if people convince governments of their nations to make Bitcoin as a legal currency or what if we agree to give tax on our bitcoin income? Will government then make Bitcoin a legal currency.
I have read tons of comments about this topic, and they have their own opinions and of course there are pros and cons. well, however the government's decision to legalize bitcoin will certainly bring change to crypto and I cannot speculate whether it is good or bad development, just follow the path and enjoy crypto on my own way.
