CodeBlock Mainnet Launch

We are thrilled to announce that the much-awaited Mainnet Launch of The CodeBlock Blockchain is finally here! On 23th October 2024 at 20:24 UTC, we will be taking a significant step forward and transitioning from the Testnet to our official Mainnet.

This momentous occasion wouldn't have been possible without your unwavering support and the enthusiasm exhibited by our invaluable Testnet participants. Your dedication, feedback, and commitment to improvement, coupled with the tireless efforts of our development team, have brought us to this exciting milestone.

What is CodeBlock?

CodeBlock is a Blockchain focused on decentralization
CodeBlock is built on the principle that a fair and transparent system can only be achieved through decentralization. Unlike many other blockchain platforms, CodeBlock aims to eliminate the potential for centralization and manipulation by removing the need for delegation and miners. This allows anyone to become a part of the ecosystem and ensures that the platform remains truly decentralized.

CodeBlock Blockchain utilizes a revolutionary Solid State Proof of Stake Consensus (SSPOS)
Traditionally, blockchain networks rely on Proof of Work (PoW) or Proof of Stake (PoS) consensus algorithms, which can be energy-intensive or limit participation. CodeBlock Blockchain offers a unique alternative with SSPoS, which utilizes a dynamic committee of validators that are responsible for creating new blocks. This approach drastically reduces the environmental impact and resource usage, while also significantly increasing transaction speed and network scalability. By investing in CodeBlock, you join the movement towards sustainable blockchain technology.

CodeBlock is user-friendly
CodeBlock aims to create a user-friendly blockchain that can be easily used by anyone, not just tech experts. Our protocol is designed to be simple, easy to maintain, and develop. CodeBlock offers a simple GUI application that makes it easy for users to run a node.

CodeBlock uses a percentage-based fee model
Transaction fees are calculated based on a percentage model with a minimum and maximum fee. These parameters provide greater control over the fee structure and prevent overpaying or underpaying. The percentage-based model ensures fairness and predictability, and can be adjusted through consensus among all validators.

We hope you can come join us on this revolutionary journey.

Best Regards,
Team CodeBlock

Hello

I want to configure a computer with linux, for my 4GB gpus (as long as they last) I have tried it with ubuntu 20.04.1 lts (the newest), I installed official drivers, the newest, but the miner does not even start xDD

In the end I used a pendrive with simplemining and it works, but I would like to have access to my own platform, as I have always done with windows.

Could someone give me some tips on what linux to use? And what drivers, I would be very grateful.

The truth is that linux I have used little, it has usually been in virtual machines to test the distribution and it is the first time that I face a serious installation and I am lost.

best regards!!! : )

Some Asus gpus have weird or odd driver issues. So the odds are you won’t be able to get all 13 asus to run on that rig.

I normally don’t buy asus for mining ⛏ .
I normally don’t buy gigabyte for mining.

MSI
SAPPHIRE
Power Color are good amd  cards for mining.

Thanks!!!! : )

Well, I am calmer, I will not buy asus xDDD

Hello

I have mounted several miners with 13 gpus on an asrock h110 pro and I have had no problem, but a few days ago with an 8gb asus 570 it was impossible.

After several tests I realized that the problem was these asus gpus: https://www.asus.com/Graphics-Cards/ROG-STRIX-RX570-O8G-GAMING/

I do not know exactly now but I would say that at most they reach 7 or 8 gpus, if for example I mix asus, sapphire or xfx it happens the same, when mounting the asus it limits me to about 7 gpus, if I remove the asus and leave xfx and sapphire the 13 gpus.

In summary: If I have a rig with 13 gpus running using xfx and sapphire mixed without problems, when putting 1 asus of this model it stops working.

If I ride asus on a 6 gpus rig with no problem.

Has anyone come across this problem? And if you have found it, you would know how to give a solution : )

I know that a solution would be to mount 6 or 7 gpus rigs, but my intention is to mount them of 13

Please excuse me because I write very bad english.

best regards!! : )

Hi

It has given me this error several times, the rig freezes and until I go back and restart manually it does not mine, I am using windows 10 ver. 2004 and the recommended driver 19.7.5

Should I try a newer driver than recommended?

Apologies for writing bad english

most likely the different complexity of the solution found.

use this:
-showdiff   use "-showdiff 1" to show difficulty for every ETH share and to display maximal found share difficulty when you press "s" key. Default value is "0".

I'll look at it, thanks : )

First of all excuse how badly I write english.

I have a question that I have not found a solution for much that I have searched, I am mining in nicehash, two rigs, one of 13 gpus and another of 4 gpus.

I leave you some captures

https://imgur.com/klEugAj

https://imgur.com/rm20ysi

As you can see in the same period of time, the same pool and everything the same, the one with 13 gpus does not exceed 72 shares for any gpu, while the one with 4 gpus gives the least 81 shares.

There is a noticeable difference, why should this be?

Hi

Now I am using 12 gpus amd and the integrated one (13) without incorrect shares, would anyone know if it is possible to use 13 amd and the integrated one (14) without incorrect shares?

I ask because connecting the gpu 13 changes the order of the gpus and it means a big job to re-identify them all, apply oc, etc.

Thanks in advance!!

Thanks for the help!!

I have decided not to use these gpus xfx, I will finally try to buy sapphire, msi or gigabyte that are gpus that I know.

Probably what I would save by buying xfx would later lose it with heat problems

Hello

I'm thinking of riding a rig with these gpus, they have a very good price.

Seeing that the memories do not have refrigeration, the models I have tested of sapphire, gigabyte and msi (570) all have refrigeration.

My question is if these memories get very hot, has anyone used them to mining these XFX rx 570 8GB?

https://www.xfxforce.com/gpus/amd-radeon-tm-rx-570-rs-8gb-xxx-edition-2

I would appreciate any information:)

apologies for writing bad english

Cheers!!

If I use the latest version, the 1.60 integrated port of the gpu does not work for me, I don't know what is the reason for this.

Issues with Windows 10 - Intel Integrated Graphics - Claymore can be solved by installing the latest graphics driver from Intel.com (Not windows update).
I ran into a problem a while ago where claymore would crash if no monitor was attached to the motherboard. May not be the same problem but could be worth it to try.
Apart from that I don't understand why you need to use integrated graphics on a mining rig unless you are using those purpose built mining GPUs with no connectors.

Yes, it was solved by updating the intel graphic driver, thanks!! : ), now I have the bios 1.60

I use the integrated one to not overload any gpu when I connect remotely, actually there I have read that 14 gpus are connected on this motherboard, logically deactivating the integrated one and using a pcie multiplier card.

From my personal experience if I put 13 gpus (plus the integrated one) it starts to give incorrect share errors in some random gpu, for me the maximum reliable is 12.

Regarding my problem with the pcie ports it remains the same, 3 of the 13 connectors do not support -strap, so I have 10 working with -strap and 2 with mod bios

i wouldnt apply strap to allready modified bios, you have choice use modified bios or stock bios with claymores strap.

flash your cards to stock bios then try again, and also dont forget virtual memory set high as you can.

Claymore -strap will override whatever memory timings are set in BIOS. It does not matter if you have stock timing or have flashed a modified BIOS. Restoring to original BIOS is nice if you sometimes use the GPU for gaming or want to have the card ready for sale, but makes no difference for mining when you use the -strap option in Claymore.

True, proven that this is so, I have done several tests lately, no matter how to use stock bios or modified bios, -strap applies the same.

Hello

I have an h110 pro btc motherboard, and after going around many times because 3 gpus could not apply -strap I discovered that you have to do with pcie ports.

Is the motherboard BIOS updated?

Did you connect the main power supply to the PCIE PWR and SATA PWR connectors?

Hello

Thanks for the help!!

I have the 3 connectors to the main power supply and I use the latest bios version of the motherborad, the 1.60

What I don't understand is because the ports work well without applying -strap, maybe they need more power?

Hello

I have an h110 pro btc motherboard, and after going around many times because 3 gpus could not apply -strap I discovered that you have to do with pcie ports.

I explain, for some reason 3 of the 13 ports if I connect a gpu to them does not allow to apply -strap

I have checked changing ports gpus, risers, cables, etc. and it is always those three ports that do not allow to apply -strap, if I put in those 3 ports -strap 0 that gpus work well, but with its modified bios (31 mhs) or bios stock (25 mhs)

I thought it could be the bios gen configuration, so I tried to change gen1, gen2 and automatic gen, but without changes.

Apparently those 3 pcie ports are not broken, using bios mods the gpus reach 31 mhs, normal would say, but as soon as I apply -strap they restart.

Anyone know how to shed light on the problem? : )

thanks!!

Hello

Trying to configure strap and rxboost in a rig with 12 gpus I have some doubt, I would appreciate any help

Rig with rx 580, 570 4gb, 8gb, 9 gpus without problem, but in 3 of them I can't apply a strap because they restart.

The 3 gpus do not seem to have anything different from the rest, hynix memory, 4gb, sapphire (2 nitro and 1 pulse).

When I put for example strap 1, they restart, so I have 9 gpus with strap and 3 with strap 0, and rxboost 100 for all.

I have tried using other raisers, connecting a monitor emulator and nothing changes.

I am applying a strap over the previously modified bios.

Maybe if I put original bios strap works?

Apologies for writing bad english.

Regards : )
