Thanks for a feedback @lucykristina  Wink Unfortunately, there is a ton of problems with that, but we hope that soon everyone will make it through to get only good things from ICO.

The idea of taking feedback from others about their involvement; duration; experience and contact collection is a great idea actually if we see. But I am not understanding in which work you people will use the data; you did not specify in the discussion though I have done giving the survey data. I liked it.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Well, our goal it is to improve the whole idea. I mean by gathering more data from community feedback we will be able to publish a report and get to the conclusion in which ways we could make ICO even better.

For now, it's pretty hard to reach people so we would be very grateful for sharing this survey.

This is really a very good initiative and it will help the people who are struggling with language issues a lot. I hope you will get volunteers to translate it to more other languages soon. A praise worthy initiative indeed.

sidneycrypto6 much appreciated! We are working on spreading this survey around the globe and translating into other languages. Your kind words are pure motivation for us to keep going

Share your ICO experience and let's create 1st ICO global report

Hello!

We are a team of people fascinated by Blockchain technology. Recently we've decided to create the first report about ICO and investors. Our goal is to reach to people and gather their thoughts. Hopefully this survey will enhance the general quality of ICO projects as well as diminish the mismatch between the projects development and community expectations. What we think about it, what's our ways to invest. We are quite excited about that and we are looking forward to getting this done!

Currently, we are working on finishing our anonymous survey prepared in several languages (English/Polish/Russian/Spanish/Turkish). The language of a survey is automatically adjusted. If your native language is not available yet the site will defaultly switch to the English version. We are hoping for some community feedback as we want to our survey to be as complete as possible. As a reward you will receive for free the first comprehensive raport regarding ICO investors, once all data are gathered.

We are looking for volunteers who would like to translate the survey into Chinese, Korean, Portugal, Arabic or even other languages if someone would like to help. For interested people, please contact us by private message.

Re: If USD falls
by

It's an interesting question, I think that if currency as important as USD today would fall it woult take chuge chunk of bitcoin value with it (just becouse of the panic) but ultimatly it would make bitcoin stronger in the long run. To be honest that would probably be the best scenario for crypto market, being able to simlessly replace fallen fiat in country witch good internet infrastructure. Lets not give Illumiati any ideas

Re: stupidity is so close to poverty

If this phrase is true, do you need any financial help  Grin?
Joking aside, I can agree that stupidity is poverty (metaphorical one) but poverty is definitely not stupidity. Some people are born poor, some work very hard but have no luck, some live in places where there is no money to be made. Of course some people are poor because of stupidity, but also many people are rich despite it. It's just very condescending and frankly stupid thing to say.

Re: BITCOIN IS NOT BUBBLE!!
by

on 11/07/2018, 10:29:03 UTC
Being a bubble does not mean that underlying idea or company is worthless (for example .com bubble), but just grossly overpriced. Since bitcoin generates no income on its own and have no underlying organisation (like countries for fiat) it technically speaking will always be speculative. And as speculative asset it will always be prone to bubblement. I think its good and healthy for bitcoin that there are people stopping it from uncontrolled growth. I don't believe bitcoin will burst but from technical point of view I understand calling it a bubble.

Re: Cryptocurrency or Stock Market?
by

on 11/07/2018, 09:34:39 UTC
I think that diversyfied investments are the way to go, but right now I am not sure if crypto is even a legit investment. So big parto of value of crypto is speculation that I would consider investing in it as completly different from investing in stocks (more like pennystocks that are accidentally worth a lot of money). But I belive that crypto will stablilise and become good and relaiable investment.

Thank you and feel free to respond, I wanna see your insights about this.
[/quote]I believe that bitcoin will not die, but the bitcoin price will be drenched down very deeply. You can see that the price of bitcoin since reaching $ 19800 level has been continuously reduced, the market is in a cycle of long-term decline. Combined with the fact that we are prepared to face the global economic crisis, bitcoin prices will continue to fall further in 2018.

Why are we prepared for another crisis (what wil cause it in your opinion)? I am still mad about last one :/

I think there will always be sceptics on any market, and that they are important part of it. I don't belive that we will live to see the end of bitcoin (aldhough we propably will see some nice crashes, maybe even reboot) but I am glad that there are people ready to act if something happens. Irrational exuberance never helped enyone.

Re: Things you should know before investing in bitcoin
by

I like that advice, its very resonable and true to all kinds of investing. I would add that bitcoin is long term investment, and holding is better than just waiting for nearest spike in price (unless you need to buy kidney like really fast or smthing)

Would crypto bonds make sense?
by
Baikonur
on 06/07/2018, 08:33:10 UTC
Would crypto bonds make sense? We all know how volatile cryptos are (I am talking mainly about ICO tokens but regular cryptos are unstable as well). Would it make sens to create bigger bond coins/tokens in hope of them becoming more stable (and less risky) together? I never heard about such thing but it makes sens to me, or maybe I don't see something?

Re: Shorting ICO tokens
by
Baikonur
on 05/07/2018, 12:59:23 UTC
i do not understand exactly what you mean. you want to short the tokens that newly listed. if so maybe it is risky because the price trends are so much unpredictable in the beginning. i wouldnt do that.

Not exactly, If I see that new token moons (or just stays relatively high), but I belive that project is doomed and it will drop soon, then I would short It. I wouldnt worry about risk for me, because rearly token stays high for very long, but I dont know if somebody would take long end. I am not sure I would do it but the idea seems to be interesting.

Re: Is Bitcoin Hack Proof or Not?
by
Baikonur
on 05/07/2018, 12:04:37 UTC
Nothing is hack-proof but BTC is so hack-resistant that it can be considered hack-proof for daily purposes. There of course is always a chance that new technology will scale computing power in one region so much that 51% will be possible (for example new type of computer that can main much faster but only one company has them)
