Oh this miner is so nice. increase in speed and decrease in power consumption when switching from claymore. Thanks Wolf0!
Only thing is i get "lowdifficultyshare" on nanopool, i think this might be due to some underclock of core and/or overclock of memory? threads 2 rawintensity 504 workload 4
Probably someone could help here - how do I mod the memory straps of Micron - cards(RX4**). The famous polaris bios editor tool does not recognize the memory timings...
@claymore Please can you check what difference could make 9.7 and 9.6 crash windows but not 9.5. Bugcheck 0x000000ea. Win10 pro 64bit(tried two different builds) 4gb ram, pro-G /w latest bios, 5x 470 sapphire nitro 4gb.
trying to mine on dwarfpool but I cant figure out the batch file to mine straight to kraken exchange. Everytime I try it keeps saying Wrong wallet address
I copy paste dwarfpool instructions:

You can also mine direct to any exchange. Add after Exchange-WALLET your personal Payment-ID, workers can be added via WORKER-ID as well
Hi @claymore, please fix that "-fanmin", "-fanmax", "-tstop", "-powlim", "-cvddc", "-mvddc" options. its make windows crash often. because i tried setting from watttool its stable a whole day. thanks claymore !
I've got a 6xRX470 4GB Nitro rig and both 9.7 and 9.6 have been running stable for me other the last days (switched from zec last week). Using 16.11.1 drivers. However i encoutered problems using the tuning options (-cvddc -cclock ...). I'm now using wattool and everything is fine (hashing @ around 4440 h, not fully optimized yet)
@claymore: Thank you for the many features and other improvements. I appreciate your work and the support you give to the hobby miners like me.
I have issues since I turned my rigs to XMR mining:
Is it a good idea to use CN miner with 16.10.3 ATI drivers or should I "downgrade" to 15.12 or an older 16.x version? I have 6*RX470 ref. 4GB Sapphire cards in my rigs, and I can't stabilize them. I tried with original/factory bios and settings, I also tried lower freq. and voltage, mem.timing mod, etc., but the OS (WIN10) always crashes.
Previously I used your awesome ZCASH miner and the rigs were rock-stable.
@Claymore i can confirm that this error vanishes with miner version 9.5, everyting working stable, could you check somehow and fix it in future release? @ffthomas take 9.5, this doesnt crash so often, only that it doesnt support suprnova login.

Miner is compiled with 15.12 drivers, but for Polaris cards you cannot use 15.x drivers, so use 16.x drivers, currently I use 16.11.3 for tests. If you don't overclock your cards, check PSU and risers.
Thank you for the answer. I have 1300-1600W (gold) PSUs and VER005 USB risers. I turned the rigs back to ZEC mining and everything works fine and stable. My last idea was to change the driver.
I have the exact same problem! Already thought of going to win7 with 6gpu mod but that seems too much of a hassle right now. @Claymore do you use windows 10 with the 16.11.3 drivers for tests? @ffthomas How old windows 10 version you have? Can you let us know if the 16.11.3 driver works ok.
https://xmr.suprnova.cc/ is working perfectly for those looking for a proper pool, and the pool op is great.
9.7 is perfectly stable across my 20+ rigs. If you're having issues with it, it's either your pool crapping out or your rigs aren't properly configured.
Do you have any rx 470 cards running? What driver version and windows you have? Somehow for my rx 470 4gb nitro windows crashes after a few hours.

Every card has its own bios. So no. You need to be specific with modding bioses. Each has its own bios. So for your msi you need to mod the same card bios. Use atiflash or gpuz to save bios. And polaris bios editor to change bios. then atiflash to flash the bios. Or just go to like ether forums and search/ask around for your bios.

Good work again there Claymore. Biggup! The difference between v1.0 and v1.1 is substantial
To start tweaking the card with watttool i just put the card in system and then run the program in windows, nothing else? Or is there some other steps like, i need to flash vbios first? I would appreciate a little step-by-step tutorial just to be sure Wink I just haven't done this before, only tweaked in msi afterburner which doesnt let you tweak that much. voltage control locked etc.
For wattool there is no problem. You dont need to flash anything. But to change the memory straps(and get higher hashrate) you need to save the cards bios with atiflash, open the rom file with polaris bios editor. And change the straps. Save the bios file(save as new file, keep the original you saved at first) and then flash with atiflash, reboot. Which card you have exactly?
600W Bronze running 4 cards? I can only run 3 cards. The system will boot on the 4th but when heavy hashing then the PC will hang. 750W Gold with 5 cards? Interesting...
Probably better configuration for the cards. And maybe slight difference in PSU. And also maybe not dual mining but eth only.
It should be the Elpida. After that the miner crashed, couldnt close the claymore miner window and when i wanted to restart system it hanged at the point where it should boot up, wouldnt reboot. Switched the psu power button off and on and then it started fine no problems at all.
Could someone give some details about Sapphire nitro+ 4gb Elpida memory ? That one is not supported by Polaris Bios Editor and i am not able to fix che checksum necessary to change timings.
if you could do it by editing the hex then flash with -f option.(force)
Sometimes geth crushed due DDOS, so why i need 1 minute for that. Anyway request flag to reduce time between attempts to connect and ethman tray icon total hashmeter.
It's good if you found that the problem is not in miner. Use Parity when possible, it works much better than geth, really. What about tray hashmeter? I have no clue what you mean, sorry.
I think he means that you can see hashrate in the system tray i.e near the clock down bottom right on the taskbar.

I could get 620mh with 4gb rx 470 and 750mh with 8gb rx 470 both sapphire nitros
