Why people invested large sums of money without any prototypes? One of the things that comes to my mind is "greed" ! Cant blame them but whats done is done. The point: is what happens now ?

As mentioned few posts back, only "bagholders" and fudders are left here. So lets attempt to create a little bit more peaceful atmosphere in this thread. It doesn't matter either you are a baggholder refusing to sell low or a dreamer, there is nothing to gain if we insult each other. We can all help the things little bit e.g. maybe create a different thread dedicated to suggestions, creative criticism, more technically oriented staff etc


I personally respect his emotionless approach to all the fud, cries and "i want my money back" attitudes! Most of the crybabes in this thread, in his place, would have said goodbye a long time with a big "Fuck you all" goodbye post ! Keep on ignoring them, MindFox!

People demanding, insulting etc consider this: a crappy solution(aka CrapCast) released now is much much worse than a reasonably good solution (aka CryptCast) released later. In terms of MindFox's personal reputation, imho not releasing anything at all is better than releasing CrapCast. Its completely unclear to me what are you trying to achieve by that...

It's a shame that the whole community of cryptocurrency is overfilled with narrowminded investor-wannabees.

Not everybody is here to make a few $! it was already suggested that most of the people including Mindfox have a real job/occupation that brings the food on the table and getting involved with cryptocurencies is an idea/hobby/belief/hope that we can contribute towards a better future.

I suggest a slightly out-of-box thinking regarding people contributing to the cryptocurrencies scene. Even if Mindfox manages to provide a decentralized solution that is resistant to the x out y well known attacks, that will place him in the hall of fame of cryptocurrencies (or even of digital freedom fighters, maybe right next to R. Stallman ).
Please note that i am not discarding any financial incentives but there are much more important things that a  decentralized "anonymous" transaction network can bring.

The short history of cryptocurrencies has shown that a strong community can organize and manage the transaction network better than a bunch of P&Ders. I trust/believe that Mindfox is an honest guy (he has shown that he is not interested in any hyping or P&D schemes) and he finally manages to overcome the problems with the CryptCast, he will implement his solution here. If the people who hired Mindfox refuse to add the hard-to-trace futures to this coin, the community can easily outmatch the offered payment to Mindfox (compensation for his work) and hire him on a more permanent basis.

If and when Cryptocast gets realised, the community should start self-organizing. We don't need any MoosaNYC, Proms, etc (not that they are not welcome)! Ignore the fudders, the current and the future price (before CryptCast) is of no importance! Again if and only if the CryptCast gets implemented you will get you ROI, but till then let try to build a community.

Last but not least (probably the most important one): Support Costas (Mindfox) !

A PR Newswire press release announced today the creation in Cyprus of “aphroditecoin,” an idea that seemed based on the auroracoin, which is being distributed to every one of Iceland’s 330,000 citizens and which has soared in price since its launch two weeks ago.  Some 885,000 Cypriots will similarly get an “airdrop” of “aphroditecoins,” the press release said. It also claimed that the reaction in the nation – which, like Iceland, has gone through its own financial crisis — was “concordantly positive.”

But when we looked into it, odd things emerged. We dialed the number for someone listed as “Costa Themistocleus” and were told it was a wrong number. We then went to the Aphroditecoin.org web site and discovered that it was based off a carbon copy of the auroracoin.org site, with large sections of its front-page manifesto by “Costa Themistocleus” lifted directly from that of Baldur Friggjar Odinsson, the pseudonymous creator of auroracoin.

So, we found the only email on the site, one used as a pitch for developers to help out – dev@aphroditecoin.org – and it bounced. Then we noticed something else: unlike auroracoin.org, which has a button with which to toggle between English and Icelandic, there was no option to read about this project in Greek or Turkish.

This all seemed like a pretty good reason not to hit the software download buttons on the home page. Until we hear back from “Mr. Themistocleus,” we don’t think anyone else should do so, either.

The end result by supporting all these scams (i assume that most of the people know that these are scams and just doing it for the promise/perspective of some quick money)
is that you are hurting the crypto-currency scene badly. You are creating a potential that attracts a lot of, barely half-brain functioning, scamers to fill the scene with these type of shitty clones. It's just sad ...!

There are tons of fair coins, some with very interesting NEW features ! Support the innovation, the protocol, the whole crypto-idea...
and help cleaning the scum that has build up in the crypto-scene !!!
