For all the people why are complaining about the dump or low price

"The 3 Golden Rules"
1. In trading/investing/gambling (whether forex, stocks, crypto, sports betting, etc): Invest only what you can afford to lose.
2. Don't blindly follow any expert's advice, do your own research. Only you will take responsibility for your losses, not the guru.
3.  Your amount set aside for that risky biz (in number 1) should not be more than 10% of your total income. Let's say you have 1,000,000 savings in your bank account, your total budget for such risks is 100,000 max.  You should effectively manage that 100,000 into such risky trades.

Risk taking is good but exceeding your max budget is like playing with fire.

Re: A formula for determining Worthiness of Poster (WoP)
by

⭐ Merited by vapourminer (1)

Without further ado, here's the formula:

WoP = (Merit + 1) / Posts x Activity

Pretty simple, really.

Here's how mine would look currently:

nutildah = (1061 + 1) / 2980 x 1162 = 414

I just add a bracket on your formula because it's confusing. Great idea though.
The Formula should be;
WoP = [(Merit + 1) / Posts] x Activity
 Remember MDAS?

It the ICO is promising, then spend some of your ETH on it. Investing in a certain ICO need a thorough knowledge of it. Otherwise, you will end up empty-handed.

Re: Bounty hunters are a job?
by

If you spent more time hunting, then it is already your job. In the third world country, it is already a main source of income. It brings more money than doing day jobs.

Hardware wallet is always safer than the software or online wallet. If your asset is already huge better to invest on hardware wallet to make it safe from hackers.

That's a policy. We have nothing to do but to adhere to it whether we like it or not. The owner reserved all the rights to change the rules even it would be unwelcoming for the new of this forum.

Some people take it as serious source of income, specially from the third world countries. And for them is a dream to bring something good on their table. But sad to think that there are people that are shooters of those dream because of so called ‘spam’ as they brand it.

Nice analysis bro. It’s better to play on the game they have started. In crypto market the weak will always lose their money.

Re: sMerit participants – a worrying descending trend (!/?)

I think the descending trend is normal. Every merit has a 0.5 sMerit.
 Therefore merits will decrease as time goes by.
Unless the source of merits could compensate the decayed merits, then the graph is conclusive that few are practicing of merits giving.

Congratulation dude! You got a new rank.  That all what we get if we are an underdog. Higher ranks they already consider themselves expert and worthy of this forum.

There is no signature campaign for newbies.  I have been here since January 2018 and I never saw a signature for newbies.
Besides, newbies cannot post a signature in profile which one of the requirements.

All the best newbies' activities, for now, is to read the forum. Thymos is correct, if we never got any merit then this forum is not for us.

Re: Does crypto work for you?
by

on 16/09/2018, 05:28:25 UTC
Yes. It works well for me. I earn an unprecedented amount in the crypto.  It just happened that the market dip on this year. But if you are involved on crypto since 2013 then the price today still have a huge chasm since then.

Re: Do we really understand what bitcoin is capable of?
by

BTC is capable of destroying the credit card or the fiat itself.  I think the primary purpose of the BTC is to make it easy in term of a transaction.
It just happened that it becomes an asset because of mass demand.

Re: Panic selling! Yes or No?
by
Balinsayaw
on 16/09/2018, 05:23:04 UTC
Panic selling could destroy all your investment in crypto. better to observe the market before dumping your assets.
The market can be recovered then by the end of this year. History always is proof.

It could be true because there are many Alts actually have no working products. Altcoins that can survive are those patronize by the investors and have a real working product.

Leaving on crypto and dumping your assets will lose all your investment. Better to stay and wait the market to recover.
