Biggest hope: world domination. Bitcoin should be able to be spent all around the world at most places that accept creditcards etc. Not sure if it will happen but that's my biggest hope for it.

Doesn't sound like much of an exit scam to me. However, when you use these sites you are putting your trust in them so it's up toy ou whether to trust them or not. Personally I'd wait for decentralized exchnages so you don't have to worry about this sort of thing happening.

The faucet is fun for newbs and gets people interested or hooked to gamble the own money. I don't think it'd be a big loss if it was removed but it likely brings in more customers so has a benefit. If it didn't stunna would have likely removed it by now.
I doubt whales are going to bother trying to recoup losses via the faucet. Waste of time for even newbs.
also i can add up that the faucet is a kind of a reward for the whales out there who bet huge amounts of money and then can use a max paying faucet and maybe get back some of the looses they had

Of course it can work. In fact, this is one of the biggest industries where not only can bitcoin have the biggest impact but also save people lots of money. Remittance fees are anywhere from 10-25%. If it costs $100 to send $1000 and you can do the same with bitcoin for cents then the benefits are clear. All that needs to happen is for people to realize this.

If he's found guilty then he'll definitely get a prison sentence. No idea how long. What do they Japanese normally dish out for fraud and insider trading? Will they be able to prove he was involved in the shady business, though? Maybe they already have enough evidence or maybe not.

So you will only absolutely sell your coins if they become worth that much? I think you'll be waiting a while. People seem to have unrealistic expectations here. I'm also sure most people would sell long before their estimates. I bet if they shot up to 1k again many people would quickly off load them.

I don't know exactly whats the point to wait the price of bitcoin reach $1,000 or above. If you want profit, why we need to wait for many years. You will get profit if you can take advantage on the fluctuation price of bitcoin. Then its better for you to learn trading strategies and can get profit little by little in short time than waiting the price reach $1,000. For me, I would sell all my bitcoins if the price goes up atleast $50 higher, and buy it back when the price goes down.
Sure, you can make a little profit in the short term with fluctuations but you can also lose it all this way. If the price suddenly went to the anytime soon then you might miss your chance to buy back in. I also think the price in the future will be smallfry in comparison to what it is now so holding for the long term is a good safe bet and you don't have to risk your bitcoins in the process.
I would sell all my Bitcoins if the price hit to $1000-$2000 in a couple days.
It's not going to shoot up that fast. The growth will be slow and that would be better.

Just wait a few days and it'll likely be all over warez and torrent sites. I'm interested in watching it but wont be paying for it either. I think the title of the doc is a bit ominous, though.

agree with you 100% the micro payments could be a very good solution for the music industry, as i always sayd, give me the oportunity of buy a cheap music disc and i will buy it, but dont expect that i buy all those expensives music disc...
Would you really? I often here this line of reasoning but I think it's just an excuse. Even if CDs were just a dollar or two would you actually buy them when you can just download the album for free? Besides, CDs actually cost money to produce so I doubt they could sell brand new ones any where near that price.

Um... to encrypt your data. Some people don't want others to have access to their private shit. Maybe he wants to doubly encrypt his bitcoins as well.
