Where XCurrency is listed right now ? I know all concentration was on Blocknet and development was being carried on this project as well. It will be good to see XC listed on any exchange for interested people to be able to take advantage of the downtrend of market. I hope the marketing of this project will be run properly soon.

but transaction data or address book entries might be missing or incorrect."
then your allset, if you get :
"wallet.dat corrupt salvage failed"
Use command dumpprivkey adressname in the old XC wallet to get the private key.
Use importprivkey with that key in the new XC wallet.

Windows version is done rest will follow.
There wont be any funds until the swap is complete tomorrow.
1 - backup wallet.dat
2 - copy wallet.dat into new xc3 data directory

Also when I check my adress through https://chainz.cryptoid.info/xc/# , I see a balance of 0
This while I currently have about 4000 XC in my old wallet.
Is there an explanation for this ?

So this is very good news !! Novaexchange not closing their doors after all.
So at least we still have an exchange to buy and sell our XC
Now if only ATCSecure would give us a nice update...

Hey all, I had used the latest wallet in the summer to sync and stake without probs, what further actions need I take apart from downloading new wallet when its out and using old wallet dat? Thank you.

Discussions with new owners are going well and it seems very likely that there will be a simple way to migrate from old site to new site (same domain, just new management). Hopefully this will be ready around February 2018. More information will be published as soon as we know more.
Its a top priority having XC listed at more exchanges but it will come when all OS builds are ready and the swap has been made next week so they start the exchange with the new wallet.
