Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation

should surge up to 7-9$ because it is the best digital asset for payments. Xrp takes only three seconds per transaction, combined with the lowest cost per transaction. can perform 1500+ transactions per second. also available in many exchanges today (50+).
Although Ripple is a good coin but i think it's hard to reach $7 - $9 in this year. Why? The price of Ripple now is $1.48 and its market cap is $57 millions. If The price of Ripple reach $7.5, its market cap is $285 millions and ripple will pass Ethereum and Bitcoin to become leader of cryptocurrencies world, this is too hard to happen now because i think market will not accept any coins instead of bitcoin and ethereum in 5 next years.

Forget about market cap:

Why must xrp be in use to increase its value?!
I have absolutely no use of my amazon stock (the paper). But my Amazon paper stock increase in value when the company behind it excells. Stop say you know it is useless when you lack know how of fundamental economy demand.

Sony worked with AR 10 years ago, that time it was not ready for it. Now is the time for AR.

And it is run by a MIT alumni.
This coin together with prl and appcoin is in my speculation portfolio.

The coin was left by original team but recently got a new team taking over it. Hence the pump. If the new team makes something good with it, it can be a decent investment.

What is a Van Gogh painting worth today?

it is all about what we think it is worth and of supply and demand.
someone creates a coin. They create x number as supply (totally made up). And a starting price.

This is why it does not matter much how big the supply is. Ripple and others can go higher than 100$. There is absolutely no real relation between the world money and market cap.

Take all art in the world and tell me its market cap. There is no limit, limit is what people think it is worth. And since cryptocurrencies which has no underlying asset etc, it could be compared to art.

Some coin has a real usage, some has none but right now it is still only about what we think it is worth.

Market cap and coins like ripple
by

Just som general conclusions:

High supply and Market cap does not make it impossible to reach a high value.
Market cap is only a teoretical figure if all circulating supply would be sold instant at the same time (which is not possible, because the second all sell, price and market cap declines). Meaning the market cap is just a hypotetichal number.
If people buy the supply the price will be what the seller decides and the market cap just follows. This is why Ripple can reach 100$. Yes the more supply the slower.

So to make it more clear, if i bought 1000xrp at 1$ and now it is 3$ that does not mean i have invested 3000$. It means someone else could be willing to give me the 3000$ if i sell. But the moment i sell the price is not longer 3$ (translate to big whales that is).

So when you compare and say that the world money is not enough for 100$ xrp you are including all xrp bought before today as if they are bought for current price.

Id say it is opposite to what zenman and the reddit Guy say. If banks use ripples product and it gets massive and there is a way to invest in ripple? A way to invest just like a company have stocks? then i dont bloody care if they use xrp or not. Its a good investment.

Just relax, xrp will be listed on Coinbase. Just not now. In fact Brian said no coin is added in a short term. That could be very short.

Besides over 3 dollar without coinbase. Its a solid company.

It goes up because new money is pouring into this world. Those 600b dollar and increasing is coming from somewhere. Hypothetical it could be the normal stock market that gets a correction when losing those money from their market.

The tech / ”company” is linked to the coin wheter they use it or not. Therefore also their success or fail.
Think of a reverse similar situation: if you believe in an Apple product, you would still invest in the company and make profit but it doesnt need you to buy the actual product. This is only reversed.

Ripple finally locked the rest supply 55 bilion in escrow and will release all each month divided by 55 month.
This is a hughe step. Investors knows the supply now and the rate, and after the 55 month the supply is fixed. I kind of like this regulation as an Investor.

Eth is always good, i would go 60/40 with eth as 60.

Are we still early?
by

Hi,

I am new to invest in this world (not new to stocks, derivat etc) and i have two questions.

Why are companies with good concepts not on regular stock exchanges? What is the difference? I read often ”they have a good team with solid roadmap”. Maybe this is a stupid question but is this some kind of alternative business corporation world? Are they even registered as a Ltd , GmBH, AB etc?

And last, are we still early into this alternate finance world?

Thank you.

Reflection of altcoins and buyers
by
Bandersnatch

Hi,

new here.

I read for days now on this forum and the impression I get is that there is about 10 % of its member that actually reads up on coins. The rest is the "the big mass" who follows anything.
I often see someone that writes professionally of a coin and then "hodlers" buy the argument 100% and hopes to become rich.

For example, ADA (Cardano) coin. In the first post in a thread people refer to scam in Japan with some substance actually. But in the end of the thread it seems forgotten, and people asks" is this good for hodl? They look really promising", they are high in Market cap". ADA has a nice homepage, some photos and some appealing information. Is this all it takes?

Is it a good coin? Maybe, but it scares me how easy you can fund money with a forum like this.
For myself I only invest in altcoins that actually has customers or companies linked and supported.

Good luck out there, don't buy everything just because some (often people related to the coin) writes something convincing here and has a nice homepage.
