Re: In gambling, is it true that you don’t win if you’re not lazy?
by
Baofeng
on 28/04/2025, 11:06:55 UTC
People say we have to put in some effort to study a certain game before placing a bet. By study, they mean using different resources, checking the news, trends, rumors, and so on, because those are all important factors when capping games.

If we do all of that, it really means we're not being lazy.
But does doing all that really increase our chances of winning, or more specifically, make us profitable?

Yes, specially in sports betting, for sure we have followed the sports that we like for many years and probably knows about the teams and the statistics. But still better if we will l do some research specially players that might not be available during games and other numbers.

And with that, we increased the chance of us winning the game and make us good profit.

Although there could be some element of luck as well, as there are some factors that is beyond our control.

Re: 2025 NBA Season

Just like that the Lakers have their backs against the wall 1-3.

Before the playoffs started, it seemed like this series might be easy for the Lakers, but in reality, it turned out to be the opposite. The Lakers screwed up once again, even with good performances from Luka and LeBron. Unfortunately for Lakers fans, there is now only a 4.5% chance they will make it to the second round.

Yes, that's what we are saying about the Lakers, they are only good when Luka and Lebron and Reaves, but besides the 3, no one is really playing maybe Rui and that's it. Role players are not playing the way they supposed to be.

I guess they might extend or win another game in their homecourt, but that's it. The series might end in a 4-2 score in favor of the Wolves.

And come to think of it, Wolves started this season with a lot of adjustment but then they jive in the end.

Nagbabasa nga ako ng discussions, mukhang maganda ang feedback. kung babalik ang mixers, mas beneficial rin sa forum kasi maraming mag advertise ng mixers nila, at dadami na rin ang maging active dito sa forum. Let's just wait for the update, hopefully meron ng final update this year ang admin.

Smiley

Very entertaining fight, but Eubank Jr is really too big for Benn here. You can see that at least Eubank Jr is two weight class above Benn and with that, he just dominated the fight. Score is 116-112 on all three scorecards.

There is a rematch clause though, so for sure Benn might exercise it but the result might be the same as again, he is too small . On the meantime though, Canelo is watching and probably Eubank could be next for him.

I spent $100 last week only manage to win an ~170x, which I didn't submitted either.

This time, I manage to hit x279 using only 34USDT bankroll that comes from the previous contest.

I can’t believe that hit the bonus round when my balance is already down to 6$ only and manage to come back by keep risking my profit for a chance spin on bonus.

This proves that even only small balance can hit a high multiplier when luck hits us hard. Finally, I experienced the luck on this slot game.

Sorry mate, I finally got back luck back with a good 696x hit.  Grin

I lost above half of my capital and then suddenly I hit a bonus round and hit that multiplier. At least I have something to join the slot multiplier again as I have said, my luck was not that good in the last couple of months after hitting almost 1000x, but that was just good enough for second place.

No worries bro. I’m happy that you manage to win and compete this week. I do experience a huge win when I made a bonus buy purchase so I’m not really aiming now to win any place on the tournament.

I think most of us now is on luck mode. Much better if we capitalize on this luck now.

This is my big win and final balance from that 34$ bankroll.  Smiley

Good for you mate, I finally won the first price in the last game with that 696x. Although there is some tough competition as usual as there are entries that hit 500x. But I guess luck is on my side winning this week's tournament.

In any case others not being mentioned by LM is interested, there is a new one here,

Wow. Ending of the year! Nuggets and Clippers. Crazy!

Was the dunk in time or not?

They said it was. Nuggets win. 2-2.

It was, and so with that win, the series is tied again. The Nuggets control this game as Jokic is on the mission and they've lead as much as 20 big points and the Clippers struggles. But then again, it's a prime version of Kawhi that we're witnessing here and so he leads the Clippers in a massive comeback.

Normal Powell though has some big time 3 points shot and so is James Harden. And I thought that this is going to be in OT as they force Jokic in a hard fadeaway shot. But as what we say, it's not over till it's over and so Gordon was in the right place at the right time. Luck is on the side of Nuggets here and now the momentum shifts to them in the next game at their homecourt.

Weigh-in results:

Conor Benn: 156 lbs and 4 ounces
Chris Eubank: 160.05 lbs

So Eubank failed to make the required weight and with that, it was reported that he will pay a hefty fine, a whopping $500,000 (£375,000).

Re: Will BTC Close above a $100k this Month?
by
Baofeng
on 26/04/2025, 20:58:46 UTC
It will hit 101k April 30 and do 102k May 1 after that who knows!
If we count, there are only a few days left until April 30th and that is very close. I expect it, it is possible that Bitcoin will touch that level again in the near future. After some correction, Bitcoin price is back to health and is currently at $94k. As usual, the increase in Bitcoin price also has an impact on the increase in the price of most other Altcoins. We just need to be a little patient, and see the market movement in the future. It has been a year and a few days since the halving, seeing the price back to $100k is a pleasant thing.

It just three days before the end of this month, not saying that we couldn't hit 6 digits, but there should be another catalyst for it. We have seen the effect of Trump easing on tariff and it really push the price to where we are right now.

But in any case, if we don't hit 6 digits then we are still good. We don't need to push it artificially, not sure what the significance of it since we already touch that numbers already. Maybe it's psychological, or perhaps there are speculators that are going to make a sell and make a lot of money. However, the game here is to wait for the possible biggest price till the end of this year and not this month alone.

Re: Need some advice!
by
Baofeng
on 26/04/2025, 20:23:10 UTC
Any advice for me?

It's funny to think that low odds are safer, there's nothing guaranteed in sports betting even 1.01 isn't really safe, don't fall for small odds they can be very deceiving. If you are looking for something to give you quick money you are also looking for a way to lose easily. Following a step by step process with a decent stake and risk management is better than trying to increase your bankroll and stakes to chase high rewards.
Of course using small odds doesn't guarantee winnings in gambling. that is where most gamblers normally get it wrong, hoping that once they use a small odds that winning is sating without realizing that gambling is always unpredictable. However, in sports betting odds are not always sating, even the least 1.00 odd can never brings winnings to you easily unless the luck is on your side if not there is nothing possible in gambling is all depends on luck.
However, analysis doesn't guarantee a gamblers winning, likewise the odds, it doesn't matter if the odd is big or it's small, what matters is how lucky you are to win your bet. Many gamblers get it wrong. They chooses small odds because they think those are the sure ones. Some gamblers believes that the small odds are sure and it gets to a point when they stake huge money on small odds.

But still though, odds are odds, and sports bookies are not giving us this odds without basis, specially for the favorites. I also wanted to hit big odds as well, specially in parlays. So I just choose the lowest odds that I can get and specially in the playoffs, homecourt is still homecourt so the OP should also look into it.

I agree though as what others have said, discipline is very important. So just stick to your budget as well and not go overboard with it.

So goodluck to where your decision it, maybe it's best to go for live betting too as I have did that before with the Heat when they have this big run when Jimmy Butler was still with them.

Re: Always think positive
by

on 26/04/2025, 12:46:55 UTC
I’m just wondering if you guys feel the same way, or if it’s just me.

There’s this “always think positive” mindset when I’m gambling... but honestly, the results aren’t always positive.
Sometimes, because of that positive thinking, I get overconfident.
Even when I’m supposed to stop, like I already hit my limit, stil I keep pushing, thinking, "It’s okay, its just a rough start, I can still end up winning."
But instead, I just end up losing more.

Have you ever been in that situation too?

Of course, we should always be thinking positive when we gamble, even at times that we felt that we are losing already, there's nothing better than to keep a healthy thoughts that we might going to win.

Like for let's say when you playing slots, you do think that the next reel will be a bonus round or it will give you a lot of wildcard so that you can win big. And even if you lose though, I mean just treat it as just another day and maybe it's not for you to win.

Re: 2025 NBA Season

For this game? Luka was more of a liability in both ends of the court, he just scored 17 points, a far dismay from his average. And then the Wolves decided to go physical and it's their homecourt so the Lakers was not able to steal this one.

The Lakers-Wolves series isn't progressing the way I expected. LeBron didn't score much in the first two games, and now Luka is having trouble with his field goal percentage. If in the first two games, Randle and ANT were the main difficulties for the Lakers, now McDaniels has also joined in, unexpectedly scoring 30 points in the third game.

Luka has struggled in his game because it was reported that he had stomach illness, so it really affected his performance. So that is a big factor for them to lose the game tonight because their top scorer is not feeling well. Although Lebron and Reaves try their best to really fought all the way, but when you have the likes of McDaniels who suddenly scores that kind of points, it's hard to bet the Wolves.

Great game as well between the Magic and the Celtics, Magic escape with a win. Also the Bucks stops the trash talking Pacers as they beat them, as Gary Trent exploding with 9 three point shots setting a record for the Bucks with 37 big points.

Re: Can BTC break through $95,000 resistance this week ?
by
Baofeng
on 26/04/2025, 10:25:54 UTC
What’s your opinion, do you think it will pass above the current resistance zone of $95,000 in a few days or not ?
In fact - bitcoin has broken through the $95K resistance, but the problem is that bitcoin seems to be struggling to maintain that price for much longer. We know how the market behaves - prices that usually rise quickly tend to correct quickly. The rise in the last few days is certainly good - but it is still difficult to expect $95K to be a strong support. In another thread - I said I am optimistic about touching $100K by the end of this month, but hopefully $95K can be a strong support.

Yeah, and we have seen this from the past, it's not that easy to break those kind of prices as there are traders that are going to sell at $95k to gain some profits. And it might take like 2-3 tries to break this barrier and then go on the next price which is $98k.

So let things settle for a bit, after all it's almost the end of the week and it's good to see that currently for this month of April we are already +14% and this could increase or decrease depending on the price before the end of the week. But definitely, we should be in the green zone.

Re: Bloomberg analyst says bitcoin can fall to $10000
by
Baofeng
on 25/04/2025, 10:33:48 UTC
This is the stupidest prediction that I have even heard of recently. People should stop believing this people that might be bitcoin critics. I think this bitcoin analysts Mike McGlone is one of them.
We may not agree with that analysis but that won't mean labelling it the "stupidest". What if it comes to past in future? This industry is full of uncertainty, and as such we can't be too certain the unthinkable won't happen.

By my assessment, and to the best of my perspicacity, I believe $10k is unrealistic a dip to get to. It won't happen, at least not in this circle. We've so many favourable news items on Bitcoin and it has just one direction to head to by that. That direction, certainly, isn't to dip.
Even if the news are not favorable for now, bitcoin is never going back to $10000. Someone people call an analyst and accept should not make such a stupid prediction. All I know is that he is a critic. If bitcoin fall to $10000, he should know that he is sleeping and dreaming and not what is actually happening in real life. I did not just make this statement but from analyses I know the man make a stupid prediction which are commonly made by bitcoin critics.

Oh so we know where he is coming from, if he is critic and just like the rest of them, they are going to be perma bear, so it make sense. But for us, his estimation is not realistic as we have seen that Bitcoin is too big too fall. Countries and big entities are already inside the market.

But for sure, we love to hear this kind of predictions and then then the market proving them wrong all along. Right now, prices seems to have bounce back about $90k and I think it will sustain the run till $100k'ish.

WBN received information from sources close to Pacquiao and Barrios that no world title fight is currently being discussed.

So there you have it, there is no title fight being discussed right now, although we have heard that Manny wants to make a comeback at the 147 lbs and challenge which they think is the weakiest amongst them which is Barrios.

Re: Gambling Budget
by

on 24/04/2025, 21:55:36 UTC
Does people gamble without gambling budgets?
I have never seen people gambling without gambling budgets or adjusting their gambling amounts to what they can afford to loss. Although there could be a possibility that there are people who gambles without knowing how to manage their bankroll or total amounts to be allocated for gambling, because they may be gambling with whatever that comes into their mind without setting limitations on how they should spend or used while gambling.
To me I gambles with budget and if I am out of budget then I wouldn't gambling till I have to refill my allocation which I usually gambles with and for that I don't temper with it or adjusting it for any reason because I know gambling one has to be very disciplined to avoid addiction.

Hard to say but I've known gamblers who really go over their budget, even daily. I will hear them saying that this is x amount is going to be played on a game that is famous in our country right now which is the "scatter", we even had a thread for that here. And then suddenly after a lost, they will go to a store or a kiosk to refill our local wallet and then play again.

So it means those gamblers, as long as they have money will continue to play and without any budget. Maybe they are those who are in the addicted side. But for those who have experience what is a gambling addiction, we will simply stop and have the mental discipline not to play anymore as you have used all your budget and time to quit this week.

We have been seeing bitcoin price appreciate since Trump cut down on tariff and there have been speculation that exporters, importers or investors alike have found loose profit to push into btc. Also, institutions have started hodling more btc with the US strategic plan that have built trust and go ahead to shaky hands all the while.

So what do you think about the bull going from here, we are on $92+, can we hit 100k anytime?

We have seen it almost hit $95k, maybe there are some to try to make some profits and sold. And then currently, I was surprised to see that it is still on the $93k, I though we might see some correction to $90k.

In any case, the sentiments seem to be bullish again. And with that, yeah, why not we hit $100k again. It's just like $7k-$8k from the current price. And again, if there is one good news about the tariffs and the FED cuts then we might see 6 digits again.

on 24/04/2025, 11:57:44 UTC

Good news that it’s coming from him .. he knows what he’s talking about. But of course, they still need an MRI to confirm everything. Based on how it looks though, it seems like Butler might be able to return this season. I’m really hoping for that, especially since I bet on the Warriors to win the series.

But honestly, even if he doesn’t come back, I’m still confident. Maybe they’ll finally start using Kuminga again.

Jimmy Butler is way better than Kuminga but they don’t have choice than to use him if Butler will be out for this playoffs.

Kuminga has no defense and play a lot of error especially on crucial on time in contrary with Butler that is reliable when needed on crucial time.

I’m not putting hope that GSW will advance many rounds on this playoffs without Jimmy because it’s proven that they are not playing well during regular season with this same line-up.

But Kerr needs Kuminga right now since Butler will be out for a couple of games. If I remember correctly, Curry has this similar fall before the end of the regular season and he has missed multiple games. So now it's about time that Kuminga needs to see some action to help the Warriors.

The good thing is that they are going to play in their homecourt so they needed that. Fans behind them and egging them to win again. And just like what others have said, we can only hope that Jimmy will be alright and just needed some time to rest.
