Thank you for making us aware about banking system and clear warning sticky about paypal! I have read other threads, where people do not trust paypal system.

When we give people the authority to handle the transactions, we give them the right to take decisions. According to me, escrow services are probably going to replace banks for the most part at least when it comes to physical goods.

It really does not depend on capitalism or Socialism. We all know that there are several people around the world, which are living poor lives. And part from that, there are several people too who have earned so much money and got out of poverty. If someone has potential then there is no need to look at government. Government can only give them freedom.
