Is that good time to invest in ICO? like Eligma GIG9 etc

It depends on the ICO or their crypto market importance because most of the ICOs and new altcoins today are having their own crypto projects and products in order to determine their coin price value and market cap.
If that ICO is good to invest while it's not yet bumped on coin exchanges then go ahead.
For me, it's good to invest if I knew to myself that will have a potential to be one of the top altcoins in the future.

Re: Just got one airdropped so far, except one elsewhere

Got a couple coins dropped to me a couple hours ago, yep. How Nice. I am hoping to save it for a while to see if it WILL rise as hoped, so I can turn it into stuff.

OMG! I love Airdrops. Nuttin gets me more excited than when I go to MEW and find something came.

Last one waay back a few weeks ago was XDAC. I googled and found it a dead-looking coin. DK if it will ressurrect or what. I will hold it patiently. I would be glad if it did.

I can't wait for the other airdrops to complete. I love tf outta free money. Nuttin is so joyful!

Not only, but also to watch it grow day by day, til you see a price you'd like to sell it at, or better.

Well, good luck for that.
The main issues for me on joining airdrops was last year that most of them were scam and were not paying free tokens even you completed and complied all the requirements based on each airdrop.
Another thing, when they gave you some free tokens then only few of them are actually hit coin exchanges and being listed on coinmarketcap.com

Re: SLOW TOKEN TRANSFER ON ETH BLOCKCHAIN

I think it depends on the gas when you are sending your ETH.
In my case it's been always faster than most of the Ethereum users because I don't change the minimum gas when sending my ETH to other wallet. I just want it to be fast so I could make trading instantly without waiting for minutes or hours.

Hello. My account xxToaDxx was banned with the following message:

Sorry xxToaDxx, you are banned from posting or sending personal messages on this forum.
You have been banned by a forum moderator. You may appeal here: banappeals-w6pquw43@theymos.e4ward.com

Can someone help me how I can restore my account, because theymos don't even answered me on all my messages to e-mail?
I need to restore my account, because it is already Full Member and I participate in many bounty campaigns and earn money.

thanks

everyone would have to experience the banning, so if I were you, don't waste time and create another account and start over.
Or you better create multiple accounts so that when other accounts will be banned, you still have another.

Im so much thankful and inspired about working on signature campaign in bountyhive.io. Its my 1st time to join there and 1st time to receive coins too! I wont mention the coin and how much will i got but i assured to you its so worth it joining signature campaign on bounty hive and luckily the project that i joined is one of the most successful ico today that will go through its hardcap and im really really excited to receive my hard earned coin. You can join too ,its easy and friendly user site and another good thing is no need to report unlike the old way .

I'm not a big fan of BountyHive because I can join signature bounty campaigns without BountyHive.
There are so many available signature bounty campaigns to join in this forum on bounties section that's why I don't need to join any third-party groups.
Sylon, Needmoney, Arteezy are enough for me to join.

Re: Crypto-Currencies Transaction Processing Speed
by
Bastime
on 15/05/2018, 14:28:12 UTC
The third generation network should be able to solve the throughput problem? The cryptocurrency you're talking about is the scope of the third generation block chain, right?

Aside of crypto regulation and attack resistance networks, this transaction speed and scalability is the most issue in crypto market today.
transaction speed is the most advancement for every blockchain network  that will attract more investors and would be the best reason to used as primary cryptocurrency.
although there are already blockchain networks are already offering this speed but it requires proof to handle network stress and evaluate the transaction speed.

Have you guys heard of a new CryptoCurrency that has a block generation rate of 5 seconds with a tsp of 1million?
They are aiming upto 2 seconds with a tsp of 5m or more.

If this new Cryptocurrency is in the market will there be an interest? and how it will affect the new market

Just an opinion....

I think DogeCoin is one of the fastest crypto in the market, maybe because they have less transaction of daily volume but DogeCoin is indeed Fast.
I don't think of something else except DogeCoin but I know that there are already crypto and blockchain that is offering that fast of transaction today.

on group telegram, admin is gone.

what do you think about this Huh

I am one of the bounty participants and I knew at first they're scam or something not right because on their Telegram Channel there are less active members and no community managers and admins are too often online.
those are red tags of scammers so at least I have multiple accounts and I am joining multiple bounty campaigns at the same time so this one isn't that affecting.

Re: Advantages of Cryptocurrency
by
Bastime
on 14/05/2018, 12:59:17 UTC
Advantages of Cryptocurrency:

1. Easy access – Cryptocurrency is readily available to the general public. Almost anyone can make use of it. It is a decentralized operation and investors from all over the world have easy access to them. You can find various projects trying to raise funds through cryptocurrency. Almost anyone that can make online fund transfers can become part of such projects.

2. Quick and easy payments – Making payments using cryptocurrency is very easy.  You can do it in just a matter of a few seconds. It is very fast because you don’t require to feed many details, you don’t even need to enter your credit/debit card details. All you need is the address of the wallet of the person or enterprise to whom you wish to make the payment too. The amount shall credit to the receiver within few seconds to a few minutes depending on the crypto. The ease of transfer and the low transaction fees makes it very desirable.

3. Costs less – Transferring money by using any other online forum or bank gateway is expensive as they levy considerable fees for the transaction. Credit card processing companies charge hefty fees. But it is not the case with cryptocurrency as the costs are nil or negligible. With credit cards or debit cards, the seller is the one paying a fee but for crypto’s, it is the buyer paying the small fee.

4. Private – You don’t need to share your identity or whereabouts or the details of the transactions made between you and the beneficiary. No information required to share with the government and the bank regarding the deal. It is truly decentralized.

5. Highly secured – All your transactions will be secure as it is using NSA created cryptography. It is next to impossible for any person other than the owner of the wallet to make any payment from the wallet, unless they were hacked which there are many ways to protect yourself from.

6. Remain anonymous – Some coins can help you stay anonymous but contrary to popular belief, not all of them can. Bitcoin is pseudonymous which means people won’t know exactly who you are on the blockchain but they can get some information from it.

7. Your details are safe – Nobody can steal your personal information from merchants, which ensures the privacy of your sensitive data. By creating a proxy ID, you can make sure that no one knows anything about you.

8. No chargebacks – Once you made the payment, you cannot chargeback. This considerably depletes the chances of a fraud. Once the transfer has completed, it cannot reverse. Nobody can file chargeback like you can on credit cards. It has it’s cons but can be an advantage also.

9. No third party – You are the master of your money. You can keep it in your wallet and use it as per your wishes. There is no third party involved like a bank on whom you need to trust.

10. No boundaries – When you talk about transactions using cryptocurrencies then there are no limits. You may be in a different part of the world and the receiver might be some other hemisphere, you can still transfer the amount without any hassle. The inter-country transaction is extremely easy with cryptocurrency because its function is not under the control of any central bank.

With these real advantages, I'm sure that there will be many more people who love the cryptocurrency. there will be the era where most people involve in cryptocurrency, work for it, and use it for their transaction or investment method. But of course, the advantages only will not attract some people who really don't know about it. It needs to spread out the positive issues along the world to make them sure to get in the crypto.

Only for the first time is the hardest as many of my friends aren't into cryptocurrencies even though they already knew that we had earned huge amount of money through cryptocurrencies.
the only problem is the adaptation  along the way that people will find comfort using crypto on daily basis in  the long run.

Re: Advantages of Cryptocurrency
by
Bastime
on 14/05/2018, 12:56:39 UTC
Disadvantages of Cryptocurrency

1. Difficult to understand – Cryptocurrencies are relatively new and come with a learning curve. People end up investing without proper knowledge and lose money to something they did not learn about.
2. Lack of knowledge – People are not aware of how to use cryptocurrency and hence open themselves to hacker. The technology is somewhat complex and therefore one needs to be mindful of it before investing.
3. Not accepted widely – Not many websites and companies accept digital currencies yet. Very few countries have legalized the use of cryptocurrencies. It makes it impractical for everyday use. Due to lack of acceptance, before buying or investing online or offline, you need to make sure that it’s accepted at that place where you want to use it. Although it is slowly getting the acceptance around the world, it will take time to take the idea entirely out of the shadows.
4. Can lose your wallet – There is a possibility of losing your wallet. If you have stored the money in the form of digital currency on your phone or computer, you better remember your password and not lose those devices. Losing your coins means you won’t be able to retrieve it, even with the help of legal assistance so that is just one of Bitcoins flaws.
5. No way to reverse the payment – If you mistakenly pay someone by using cryptocurrency, then there is no way to get a refund of the amount paid. All you can do is to ask the person for a refund and if your request is turned down, then just forget about the money.
6. Uncertainty – Since cryptocurrencies are so new, they are also very volatile. This is one of the main reasons mass adoption is taking longer than it should. Many corporations don’t want to deal with a form of money that is going to go through huge swings in volatility.

-1. difficult to understand - because it's the new technology that will transform our money and the way of trading between parties.
-2. lack of knowledge - people will deal the whole process of cryptocurrency adaptation because it's process is way different from the way we're using our money or fiat.
-3. not accepted widely - cryptocurrency adaptation will take more than a decade for people fully adapt cryptocurencies. early adapters will educate their family and friends.
-4. wallets may be lost - this is one of the most critical and in the future it will be addressed in order not to lose wallets, keys and account credencials.
-5. no way to reverse the payments - this is purely intentional in order to counter network and server attacks.

hey  Is Siacoin a Good Investment? or what happen 2018 price 1$..?? i got 100,000 siacoin Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

I don't think SiaCoin will surge it's price just like some other promising altcoins that increases it's price value due to their crypto project demands and effectiveness.
SiaCoin is a billion coin supply, meaning, it's price value will not pump much unlike million coin supply.
Oyster Pearl has the better project execution for storing files online that only requires PRL and your files could be accessed unlimited and free for a year but SiaCoin requires tokens in order to access your own files.

Re: how to identify ICO scam ?! some important tips !
by
Bastime
on 13/05/2018, 11:44:11 UTC
Take on the "4T" scheme: Theme, Tech, Team, Token !

1.Theme
To begin with, you need to evaluate the promise of the very idea of ICO. If you are not an expert, it will be difficult to do this. But it is possible to find signs of fraud even without profound knowledge in the field of blocking:
Go to the ICO website and see if White Paper developers have posted a project roadmap. If not, the startup can be immediately struck out.
If there is documentation, study it carefully. Honest developers try to explain in detail their idea and ways of its implementation, using not only text but also tables, graphs, charts and other demo material for this purpose.

2.Technology
It is even more difficult here - one needs to evaluate the promise not of the idea itself, but of the technology created for its realization. And even a well-written road map or White Paper will not help you to objectively assess the strengths and weaknesses of the advancing technology.
Lack of contacts for communication, ignoring your appeal or a template response not on the topic - alarm clues, indicating fraud.
After all, developers who plan not only to raise money, but also to start the project, are themselves interested in the fact that potential investors received as much information about the startup.

3.Team
always look for information about the team on the ICO website. Most often it is placed in a separate section ("Team") or placed at the bottom of the page in the format "photo-name-post in the project".
Good teams themselves talk about themselves. On their sites you will find short biographies of developers, information on their education, career advancements and experience with blockade projects.
Check out all the specified contacts of team members
Find the legal address on which the company is registered and verify its authenticity

4.
Open the appropriate section (most often called "Token" or "Token Economy") and find the information
And be sure to pay attention to the main thrust, due to which many investors lost their money. Is there any information on the site that issued tokens are not a digital currency and do not carry any real value, and developers are not obliged to change them on crypto currency or fiat money?

If you find such an announcement, save your money for another project.

GOOD LUCK !!! Smiley
Yes, this is really a good strategy that can help not get into the hands of crooks and choose good ICOs. This information will be particularly useful for beginners who are just starting their way into the crypto world.

This tips will help young investors and crypto enthusiasts in order not to be the victim of ICO scam and fraud because it's too painful that we lose our hard-earned money than just giving it to scammers for no reason.
crypto investing is one of the most profitable in this generation but it requires hard decisions in order to invest on the right ICO or altcoins in order to get higher return of investments.

there are too many tips on how to spot scam and fraud ICOs but it's depends on the experience.
That's why I never invest on ICOs because not all ICOs will hit coin exchanges and coinmarketcap.com.
for me, when telegram channel has no admin or no community managers or there are less active members then that's the red flag that they are scammers.

Re: Wallet for begginers

Which wallet would you say is the easiest to use ?

if you are a bounty hunter, you can use MyEtherwallet, One if the best and safest wallet in crypto.

Actually there are many ERC20 wallets available on the internet and phone Apps on IOS and Android but my most preferred third-party application is only Eidoo as it is close to MEW features. But the only disadvantage is you can have the copy of your private key and instead of recovery key of your account.
personally, I never trust on any third-party wallets and we can't trust on our crypto assets on third-party companies and will probably will face serious issues in the future.

Which wallet would you say is the easiest to use ?

Every altcoin platform has it's own wallet but ERC20 smart contract altcoins have very popular wallet which is called MyEtherWallet and it's only my wallet since before I received my first ERC20 token last year on 4th quarter.
MyEtherWallet is very easy to use as long as you are responsible enough on keeping your private key, MEW is more safe, secure and reliable.

Re: Reaching Exchange Before ICO Ends
by
Bastime
on 12/05/2018, 10:19:43 UTC
It would be every ICOs' dream that their ICO will bump into crypto exchanges while the ICO sale isn't ended yet.
I know that there are some altcoins who bumped into coin exchanges too early and right after their ICO end so that will prove that their crypto company or their crypto projects are in demand that too many investors were attracted while on their first phase of their ICO.

Re: What coin will you buy after the bear market?
by
Bastime
on 11/05/2018, 04:47:20 UTC
while crypto is on it's bear market since january to April, I bought some of my favorite altcoins while they're all on sale.
I do never though that this crypto market will gone down as what other people believe that this isn't worth of investment as it is one of the biggest fraud in history.
I believe in blockchain technology and crypto market will rise back again.
so I invested more on Oyster pearl pRL, Ripple and some NEO coins.
