Re: Why is bitcoin unique or place higher than others coins?

Bitcoin has a long way traveled as it was the first cryptocurrency to be created, that is a lot if you consider how much the market has expanded over a few years.

BE CAREFUL WITH GREEN

Many know this but rarely can do.
Normally, green represents growth and red represents price decrease. But to me, it is the opposite. I have witnessed quite a few cases in which investors buy a green coin, like TRON (TRX) or Siacoin (SC), then lose their money. You should know that when the coin turn green, it is just some leftover or a rat trap. Like Siacoin, will you earn 800% more after it has already increased 800%?

DO NOT PANIC WHEN YOU SEE RED

Only be afraid and panic if your coin is a shitcoin. Shitcoin will sooner or later die even when it once green for a long period.
If your coin is solid coins, the red will soon leave and it is meaningless to panic. Those solid coins have survived long enough to have a future in this market and won’t die easily. Otherwise, they have a solid foundation of strong team member and potential project. If those are your case, don’t worry.

Ethereum and Bitcoin have also gone through those red and green days and still be here to grow. Be patient and have a long vision (6 months to 20 years). The rise or fall in short term does not mean anything.

Both green and red can be seen as opened doors to opportunities, the red one is the first one to open and then the green one just improves everything, and that is why it is so great to invest on cryptocurrencies.

Re: Do we Need Altcoin?
by

We definitely need altcoins as bitcoin seems like a project with a lot of back up but in reality is a project that needs a lot of adjustments, so altcoins could fill that gap bringing more innovation.

Re: How is ETH now?
by

Well, it dropped a lot recently, considering that it once was at +1000 usd in value, it keeps having a tendency to drop even more so the recovery of it could take several years if it ever happens.

The great thing about cryptocurrencies is also the bigger disadvantage, volatility, you could turn those 100 usd into 1000 in just a couple of days as long as you know how to move, but you could also loose it all sadly.

Re: Are you selective when you participating in ICOs?
by
Bayonetto
on 12/09/2018, 21:56:51 UTC
I rarely participate on ICO sales as it is a bit unprofitable at the moment, they definitely when through a phase last year where they were really profitable, maybe we should wait for the market to recover before investing like we use to do back then.

I am personally aiming for EOS as it looks a bit more polished, in my opinon, plus, overall, it seems to be putting a bigger fight on the current market drop.

Re: HODLing will get you nowhere
by
Bayonetto

The past week, as I've been looking to invest in recently finished ICOs since most of their prices are way below ICO price, I noticed the same thing mentioned over and over in their telegram channels.

People screaming: HODL!!!  It will moon someday!!!!

Another one that is common: When BINANCE!?!?! If only we were on Binance!!!

This makes me laugh inside.  Crypto is not a magical place where all coins will eventually rise in value if you just hold on to them.

Most ICOs did very poorly the last 3 months.  The ones that did the worst were the ones that started in January
Now, a lot of these startups are underfunded and could only list in low volume exchanges and seeing their prices crash to ridiculously low prices.
And everyone is crying on their Telegram.

Listen very closely yo: The price will never rise if everyone HODls!

Prices are boosted through supply and demand and if a vast majority of people who own the coin are not trading it, than you are severely cutting in to that chain.

Instead of Hodling, you should be buying and making strategic trade choices.
Hodling can be desperate to a lot of people that want profits, especially with cryptos, one day you can have a 100 or even 200 percent profit just to loose it in a week or even less, I would opt for daily trading, even if I earn 1 percent of profit on a day it is good for me, and more reliable..

Re: How safe is our money in crypto?
by
Bayonetto
on 10/09/2018, 20:34:46 UTC
Money is not at all safe in cryptocurrency, There are so many hackers around here who's only business is hack a wallet of bounty hunters to get money without doing anything.
It is possible to loose your money on banks too, and also if you hold fiat on some other "virtual wallet" like paypal an uphold you can also loose it because of hackers, there is always danger and that shouldn't be a cause of avoiding a type of money saving scheme.

Re: I have 12 Bitcoin. What should I do???
by
Bayonetto
on 10/09/2018, 20:33:16 UTC
If you own 12 bitcoins still then it would be best to wait for at least the end of the year, bitcoin has been dropping really bad so if you exchange them now you will definitely loose a big chunk of profits.

I think bitcoin is a better piece of investment, though it depends on how long you have been holding them, if you are one of those that invested when it was worth pennnies, than you should definitely wait for at least another point to turn them into something else.

I think altcoins are still bad as a long term investment, with a few exceptions, but they are really suitable for daily trading, and you can make way more profits with it.

Both are dropping consistently, even though we are already on september 2018 it seems like they both could take long to recover, I am still aiming for bitcoin though.

Re: Why are people nervous about owning and investing in cryptocurrencies?
by
Bayonetto

They are probably nervous because of the tremendous drop that the mainstream currencies are having at the moment, but they are also avoiding looking at the future and their long term reliability

Re: How to find the right coins to buy
by
Bayonetto
on 07/09/2018, 21:43:47 UTC
Hello, I have been trading for some months now. I have had some losses but now I recovered and I have the same I started with. The hardest part for me is finding the right coins to buy. I have been around signals telegram groups and tried with some scanners, but havent had much success. What would you recommend?
I try to aim for the top 100 cryptos of the moment, some people would say that top 20 is better, but that doesn't mean anything, just don't go for too recently released cryptos.

I have 110 $ ...witch crypto is best to start trading with a small amount as 100 $ actually i'm in etherium ... i see a verry small progress .. is there another crypto more profitable and faster with 100 $ ?!?!?!?!?!?!?
You can start with as little as 1 dollar, but try to aim for the mainstream cryptocurrencies, I recommend stellar as it is having a big of progress this days.

Re: What happened? Why do prices fly down?
by
Bayonetto
on 06/09/2018, 22:51:32 UTC
crypto people nee to accept the fact that this is how market react when it boomed to much during December 2017 - January 2018 & then the  bearish trend started. what happened back then wasn't healthy at all & mae it look like the worst kin of bubble, now we'll have to wait even more to get back to BTC @10k (it can be month, years, who knows).

The lat " crash " you''re referring too was kind of " market shaking " to make the domino effect, so the scared traders / holders will Tether or dump or cashout.

Now from a technical perspective, this can be a good sign that we're heading to the last bearish wave which can be a bi bloody (new bottom probably). From there we'l have to wait for the next move, which can be the next bu run, but i don't expect it to be as fast as the last one, but who knows.
The thing is that, they didn't boomed at all, I mean, bitcoin increase to 8K a few months ago and then dropped to 6K, it was recovering and then... 6K again, that was unexpected, and that is why is causing controversy.

I would really advice people to learn and build a portfolio in translations from a language to another, it would definitely give you a lot of profits in the translation campaigns.

Re: Is neo good choice for long-term investment ?
by
Bayonetto
on 01/09/2018, 23:19:39 UTC
NEO indeed seemed like a reliable option a few months back, but it was affected really badly by the cryptocurrency drop and it lost almost all the progress it managed to get, now is more suited for daily trading.
