Re: Is GST applicable for BTC to INR conversion?

It comes under software business, so Modi will definetely make GST for Bitcoin too. I think it would be 18% tax, but still I am not sure.

I already had GST for offline business and they made arise from 5% to 18%.

On localbitcoins.com also we need to pay 7 to 9% as some said yesterday here in this forums and the GST might applied.
How about for Paypal? if they have GST for Paypal then yes for Bitcoin too or no.

c'mon, unocoin have registered their company to GST and here's  their IGST number: 29AABCU8112D1ZI. But they're charging about 0.2% as tax and 1% as fees. So i think, there's no government tax for bitcoin in India yet as RBI only warns the bitcoin users not yet regulated.

Bitciontalk is just web based as others said above. But this forum is built with SimpleMachinesForum which is compatible with tapatalk. So, you may try "tapatalk" mobile app to browse bitcointalk and even some other forum via a mobile app.

Only for HINDI?  Angry why not TAMIL? or any other south Indian Languages? as more Bitcoin exchanges where in south India than north India (as of my research).

Even I've faced the same situation. Like, in India, there's a school which accepts Bitcoin as a payment method of Fees, there have 11 Bitcoin Exchanges in India. their daily trading volume is about 100BTC. Unocoin already working on "to accept bitcoin on local stores". Still no one knows about Bitcoin. And 95% of peoples (My friends & family circle) who knows about Bitcoin was not interested to use Bitcoin, I don't know why?

Bisq Is an open-source distributed exchange, you should check it out. I'm not sure about the other ones but Bisq is pretty much the largest P2P exchange I know of.
It was developed with Java. Is there any recommendations/suggestions that was developed with PHP? Because I'm not much familiar with Java

Hi,
Actually I'm planned to start an exchange in india. As of now, I'm collecting much information about bitcoin regulations in india. If interested, we could work together. Btw, currently I'm at navi mumbai and I'm from tamil nadu. So basically I don't know hindi. But we could conv. With English.

I would say that wait for some time till government make it legalize in India. Because if you start and exchange and put so much money in technology , security etc and then govt change the decision and decide to ban than this means you just end up in a huge loss. So better wait to understand what laws are being framed and will it be easy or difficult law against btc also needs to be understood

Yep, my laywer adviced the same. But, afaik the RBI not going to announce any regulationson bitcoin. Everytime they talk about bitcoin, they're telling that, "a regultions willbe published forbitcoin soon". But nothing yet.

May be Imay try self regulations to prevent Money Laundering. I don't think, there's a better idea than this. And as the first step, I alredy creted a mock page with pre-registration available @ digitwel.com

According to the current scenario, the price would reach $100k in bitcoin soon. Because, the current bump was occurred with less time I guess. So, there's a big chance.

Yes, hard cash always rocks. Still bitcoin has many applications like sending money to a long distance (the people who's in abroad) with lesser amount of fees. And sometime, the government will watch if we use hard cash. But in bitcoin, no need to worry about that!

Take a couple of currencies. Like BTC & ETH or BTC & XMR, etc., and do trade within these currencies and try to buy at low price and sell at high price for that, you need patience and some speculation knowledge. And loos is also a part of trading.

If I want BTC, no matter what the price is I would buy! Because, that would be equivalent to FIAT. But i would not buy at current price (only) for trading. And may be i would stopped buying at ~$700. But i didn't bought this time!
