I tried your suggestion, and this time only managed to sync to block 55108, I deleted all the data other than wallet file before rebuilding with the seed, any ideas on what to try next?

You're all good man, since they changed to the most generic and forgettable name on Earth, the price has fallen, few other coins had a name sounding like IPBC, now BitTube sounds like the 1000 other clone shitcoins with zero imagination, and use the word 'bit'. I dig seeing a project keep a consistent level of quality on what they show to the public, to be fair "professionalism of the team" should have been more like competence of the public relations person ;P
