Exactly who joined Ripple? Could you provide a link?
You do realize that Bitcoin =/= Ripple labs. Actually there's quite a lot of hate for Ripple hear because of their distribution method which is bad.

Here's a link: http[Suspicious link removed]c-as-coo/839

Yet still, they are planning to build an office in Sydney they said.

Africa or Australia

Who do you think will have the biggest chance of Bitcoin success? Africa or Australia?

With Ripple Labs building an office in Australia's Capital City - Sydney and Africa becoming a haven for Bitcoin start-ups

Who do you think will attain a bigger success in the bitcoin industry?

Reference reading:

http://bitforum.info/t/africa-a-breeding-nest-of-bitcoin-industry/823

For me, Australia is economically stable compared to, Africa needs bitcoin services even more because of the fact that some areas in the continent is struck with poverty. That is maybe the best reason why Bitcoin will flourish more in Africa.

Can you give out negative effects if Bitcoin is regulated?
i think the most affected if bitcoin is regulated is about privacy
now we can say bitcoin is anonymous, but if bitcoin is reglated i don't think so

To be honest, I am still not totally sold out with the idea of regulation.
What if the goverment make bitcoin use a criminal activity? Theres nothing we could do.

Chart of last 7 months of Unobtanium on Cryptsy.

Popular altcoins like Lite, Doge, and Dark are not included to give way to newer coins.

Check it.

I don't know if Dark is the same as Darkcoin, but Darkcoin is included.

I was referring to Darkcoin my man. Smiley

Did ISIS Really Passed On Bitcoin

Well, I agree with the former under secretary.

Maybe, they are just stalling the media or giving false news about them making a new currency.

Anyway, if they do use Bitcoin, price shouldve been astronomical by now.

ISIS and Bitcoin is a pretty old news.
I hope some follow up about this would be a great topic/subject.

Check out below, it's cool... I saw it somewhere, BTC's getting into limelight...  Grin

Do regular people read the Wall Street Journal?
I think readers of WSJ are the people who are interested in Wall Street and these people 'love' money.
That is still no good.

I prefer the acceptance of the mass/mainstream without any help of the media.

Media can easily build someone, and ironically they also easily can destroy you.

Is Regulation The End For Bitcoin?

http://bitforum.info/t/is-regulation-the-end-for-bitcoin/396

Maybe bitcoiners doesnt say this out loud but majority of us question ourselves, if Bitcoin will be regulated. Would it be the end?

I mean, if there is a central entity that regulates Bitcoin, do you think that they're regulation would be 'limited' or will they violate a bitcoiners privacy for the sake of 'regulation'?

In the article, it reads the advantages of regulation.

Can you give out negative effects if Bitcoin is regulated?

Re: Bitcoin To Pay Your Park Fines

New York is at it again. Now, a member of the government is suggesting to make bitcoin a 'penalty money'.

http://bitforum.info/t/use-your-bitcoin-in-new-york-to-pay-for-parking-fines/275?u=angelo

I think it would be wise if Bitcoin can be used that way.

Imagine using bitcoin for government fines and etc.

What do you think?

Great idea councilman, but these bill should be supported by others too.
Until right now, everything is just rumors and hearsays.

Re: Bitcoin Is Safer Compared To Other Digital Payment Platforms
by

on 13/03/2015, 05:58:08 UTC
A result of a new survey says that US customers are more confident in transacting bitcoin and considers it safe compared to other online wallets or mobile apps.

Although we are in the most bottom part of the survey, I myself can say that this is a positive thing for us.

As what analysts says, give bitcoin time.

Soon.

Cash will remain  number one. Maybe for first world countries, Bitcoin will soon become a house hold name, but for the people in the third world countries cash will still remain at number one.

What is the real stand of Russia about Bitcoin?

Are they faking their really stand about it or are Russian authorities really are just divided about Bitcoin?

How can we deal about this 'lawmaker' who is badmouthing bitcoin?

Russia, as a secretive country as it is, is planning to create a digital currency that will benefit their communist country.

Re: Maybe a Japanese looted Mt. Gox
by
Beatkoyn
on 13/03/2015, 05:42:14 UTC
I was looking at the leaked list of accounts which the supposed Mt. Gox "hacker" posted.

One thing you notice is that SOME of the names are "censored", but the names of Americans, Europeans and Russians do not seem to be censored. Just guessing here, but maybe the "censored" names are all the Japanese names. Why would the hacker remove all the Japanese names, but leave in the foreigner names, unless of course the hacker was Japanese.

Hmmmm....

According to this:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=962803.0

That willy bot, has no activity when Japanese people are sleeping and then went back to work on Japanese working hours and then goes flat on activity again during the Japanese sleeping hours. Maybe you have a point.

Yeah, the location might be in Japan but it doesnt mean that Japanese people are behind it.

Re: Anyone Knows Hump The Bundle Porn Site?

Yes.. They're accepting BTC.
http://bitforum.info/t/hump-the-bundle-porn-got-25-91-of-total-transactions-in-crypto/394

Do you ever think how big the porn industry is and how bigger it will become if Bitcoin is integrated in well known porn sites?
Compared to buying porn through credit card and debit card, you can hide your identity with btc transactions.
What do you think?

This time, it would be easy for kids ages 10-14 to see porn.

Re: Third Auction For Ulbricht’s Coins, Scheduled

With the auction of his bitcoin coming:
http://bitforum.info/t/third-auction-for-ulbrichts-coins-scheduled/305

Do you think, Ulbricht can easily get back his coins if he is still running Silk Road right now?

I mean if he will be released right now, and start from the scratch again, how many years will it take to reach the amount of the coins he lost?

Out of the 14 bidders, is there someone outside from Bitcoin-related business?
