Dev, can you please explain the math to me on this POS of yours?

PoS Variable Interest (from last PoW block):
Month 1: 365% Interest (< 30 block days)
Month 2: 100% Interest (31-60 block days)
Month 3: 25% Interest (61 - 90 block days)

If I buy 1000 coins, how many will I have after the third month?

Re: [ANN] ------ARCHcoin [ARCH] – The ARCH Network - NEWS------
by

For something that raised 960BTC there's surprisingly hardly anything going on here, is there some sort of 'official' forum or are there really so many people trolling around in here that they keep being deleted?

Pretty much all discussions relating to ARCH is conducted in the Arch HQ on Slack. You need to hold 8000 Arch in your wallet to gain admission to the HQ network.

This forum here, is a breeding ground for fud shillers and people with the agenda of driving prices down on alts to better their positions a cheaper prices. By joining the Arch HQ, you are then able to not only learn about new and exciting projects that Arch is working on prior to the general public.

Arch HQ is also a very good place to learn and share valuable information regarding many other alts that is not commonly known by the general public. Once the newest version of the wallet is released, as long as you hold 8000 Arch in the wallet, you will be able to just click a tab and enter the HQ from within the wallet. The same goes with holding 16,000 Arch, this will gain you access to the Sales section and 32,000 Arch will gain you access to the CEO section.

All this will be incorporated right into the wallet.

Tell ya what, Mine on the merge pools and I will give you an address to send the unwanted coins to so you dont have to look at them. I bet we find more lithium blocks then the single pools.

UMO  uht9DtqH3LHwpzcnYaf98tseaNixYRT5cU
PHO  BbegAxWrg7wQGXVmnj21K5bJLEjNWNJUD5
ELT   eQy1A3a4zY7XALoEYyqExYVCQnA2nZnmL3
BBTC  2gyaqU4DceokMnRPzaCG4fSeawAmXhGQzwh
BLC    BU928pUUSkETaeULcgNL2LqjDWJVBNtbFg
XDQ   dUwHkgLezE6SLrc8GhDQ2Q3oiepRtxzLbX

I think mining muliple coins that you don't want, while easily more profitable, is not good for those coins as it just encourages you to dump the unwanted ones. Great idea, but not for the coins you don't want. They'll easily be dumped and another worthless coin with many worthless bagholders.

Farndogg, just finished reading the entire forum....and then I get to my idea...but you beat me to it...

Merge mining ALL the coins, is the BEST way to mine ANY coins. Think of it as this way: You have someone who wants to throw some money at you every now and again. Included in the handfull of money he throws at you, is a Silver Dollar...2 Quarters...13 Dimes and 46 Pennies.

By Solo Mining, or mining in a pool that only mines one of the available coins...you are in essence throwing away money. Who cares that the coins are traded on an exchange your not familiar with...get familiar with it...make some MORE money. If you only want the Lithium coins...mine the others at the same time, sell them at whatever exchange you want...and use the money to PAY YOUR ELECTRICITY BILL...

I've been merge mining these coins for months now and will keep mining them for a very long time. Dirac (XDQ) currently trades at between 32,000 and 37,000 sat each. They have taken a bit if a hit just like BTC and everything else. About a month or so ago, XDQ shot all the way up to 196,000 sat each....would you throw that coin away because you don't like an exchange? if so, throw them at me, I'll take all you can mine and throw...

Since Im not getting my coins, can you at least send me a free tent? Undecided

Lol, I second this post.

CEOs get 2!

Eth.

The thing that keeps coming to mind is, that old saying at fine restaurants..."Good Food Takes Time To Prepare"

I see it as, the longer it takes to get the "Perfect" wallet and Archcoin paying interest according to the plan, the far more valuable Archcoin is going to be. I can tell by BTCarchitech' renderings of the Moby, he is a stickler for details, and does not want even the smallest detail forgotten or set aside for a later time.

Look at Apple with the new iPhone 6/6+ and the new OS for them...they released faulty software to the paying public, all in the name of "Get the money now...worry about the problems later". BTCarchitech is not like this.

Patience is a virtue...

Also dragging one of the pictures to google pictures shows it is from a facebook group belonging to "Interdesign Interiores" another architect firm not even related to his own. So you have an "architect" who can't even use his own pictures. Sounds to me like someone is trying really hard to come across as an architect.

Can you be so kind as to show us all the picture on this Facebook page that you say is being used be BTCarchitect? I've gone through about 1000 pictures on the page, and can't seem to see anything but interior design projects completed by this company. I even had a look at all of the pictures on their "Timeline" that are mostly of other peoples work and some of just people, but again, none of the Moby.

So, please if you would be so kind, show us all this picture and post a link to it.

Oh so where will you store this floating box? Or does it fold like a tent, and how do you move this floating box around water, so once u purchase this floating triangle you need to own a boat too to drag it or do you use paddles, so you  would need to have a boat and floating box,  so it's for people that wanna float next to the shore instead of having a boat or renting cottage if this floating box  can be assembled and disamvled why not get a floating mattress. You people are so naive , this a stupid idea, who gonna buy that crap, and you all banking on this rediculuos idea lol,  this dude must be laughing hard now.  What a dumb investment. You all deserve to lose your money cause you are all stupid.

The guy crowd funds a project for half a million dollars saying he will build and sell floating triangles and all you people believe it lol.  Hilarious!!!!!!!!

You may want to come up out of your Mothers basement and check out the "Real" world. People all over the world spend vast amounts of money on far less useful things. Just because you can't see the bigger picture, in no way takes away from what "True Visionaries" see.

In all seriousness what's the appeal to rent a box on the lake when you can go to a proper resort. Perhaps you can transform this into floating homeless shelter.

Here's yet another "rent a box on the lake" example...
http://www.agoda.com/en-ca/4-rivers-floating-lodge/hotel/koh-kong-kh.html

The Moby will out do this place though, as you'll be able to transport it to any lake or forest or glacier your heart desires...a new experience every time.

i have question, because disconnect during process,  i have send my BTC to 2 different address generated but with 1 ARCH wallet address, so now i saw 2 separated investment from me, is this ok? are the final total Arch receive will be in 1 account?

You'll be fine as long as you used the same ARCH Wallet address.

I have two seperate deposit addresses listed on the ledger, and both are from the same ARCH wallet, so when the coins are distributed they will most likely come in two deposits of ARCH.

Heey so I have already bought arch coin with my bittrex account and used my windows wallet.
How does it works if I Want to buy more?
If I generate a new payment adress and fill in my arch coin adress I already used on the first purchased things go wrong?

Go to the Crowdsale site, scroll down the list until you see your wallet address. To the left of your wallet address is a BTC deposit address, copy this address (right click) and then use it to deposit BTC from Bittrex, Mintpal, Cryptsy or any other BTC account you may have.

Even if you generate a new BTC deposit address using the same wallet address as you did previously, and deposit to it, once the ICO is complete, you will recieve your coins. All deposits and coin payments are based on the ARCH wallet address you use to generate the BTC deposit address.

What I would like to know is what kind of legal protection do we have now that you don't run off with btc or say they got stolen, or that you follow through, let's say things go well, what would make you honor your promises about CEO share percentage, profit sharing etc when you got no legal obligations  to honor anything and a lotof profit could be made by scamming.

Why should we trust your word, especially when a lot of money involved.

By reading this question you've posted. we can all assume that you are extremely new to the crypto-currency world. When it comes to crypto's, they are a totally unregulated commodity in every country on this planet. Bitcoin trading to fiat, is regulated in the USA as well as Canada and a few other countries, but that is it.

When buying/investing into any crypto-currency, there is no legal protection whatsoever that is going to help you should you get scammed of your BTC or any other crypto.

The developer of ARCH has pretty much totally exposed himself to the world exactly who he is and where he is unlike any other coin developer prior to this. He's even listed his company address and invited anyone to stop by and have a beer with him.

The best thing to do, is to read...reread...and then read again everything that is available about ARCH and the developer. Get a feel for what he and this coin are all about. Then, and only then, decide if you are going to invest any BTC into ARCH. As always, with any investment/gamble, only invest what you can honestly afford to lose.

When it's all said and done, I'm extremely confident that ARCH is going to be and exceptional investment and the people getting in on the ground floor will be the ones in the penthouse once ARCH takes off.

i think ppl still don't get this:

the more btc raised, the less Arch you get...

BUT price per Arch is higher so...

got it? Wink

yes so it will enter in a larger market cap and have a harder time getting increases. and people are less and less likely to buy it once public

and OP will get more BTC this way

i think we all got it  Wink

dumb mofo doesnt even know what a stakeholders was (he is using the term wrongly) he just pitched us a few "big words" in whitepapers
and let remind ourselves the crowdfunding site is copied from via, i will bet you the site design and wallpapers is too caus it looks like it.

"months work" my ass. this is copy pasted in a mere month for a quick ico to make up for losses in his own trades.  Grin

I am amazed each and every day of all the people in crypto currencies that have nothing better to do than spend their time posting FUD in altcoin threads all over the internet. If you have no interest or desire to partake in the logistics of this ICO, or any of the other coins you FUD asbout, don't invest your BTC....if you actually have any BTC.

I've been following this coin since the first day ฿TCarchitect announced on Twitter he was going to create a coin. I've read every word he, as well as others have written about this coin, and have re-read even more. Not un til after I read it all, and understood exactly how things worked did I invest any of my BTC.

It's my BTC to risk and it's my life to live, nothing you say is going to change that. As for yoy and all like you, either invest into ARCHcoin or STFU...

HANDS UP.  COIN NOT DEAD.

Ah really look at Mintpal as soon as the rules are out mintcoin will get delisted. Look there is no volume, this is what they are looking for.

Moolah posted a number of days ago a list of coins that were NOT going to be delisted on Mintpal as well as on Moolah V2 exchange once the takeover has occured.

Mintcoin was included on the list of coins that will be on BOTH Mintpal and Moolah V2.

I'm really happy to see the "Keypod Campaign" included in this list. I think getting incuded with their USB device will be a very very big thing for Mintcoin.

Great work on all the improvements...

Very exciting to see a well organized plan!  What exactly is the Keypod Campaign?

It's actually Keepod and here is a link to their website.  http://keepod.org/

There has been talk that Bitcoin may be included in each of their USB devices as well.

New to POS and I see in the OP that it takes 50 confirms for the coins to mature enough for minting.  I made two deposits into my wallet, both now have over 2000 confirmations but the wallet says they are not mature.

No idea what to do.

Also, is there any way to get around this stupid post limitation Bitcointalk has set in place?  My work uses a single gateway IP and multiple people here use this forum.  Because of that I am never able to make a post and it's really frustrating....

The 50 confirmations is for newly "Minted" coins. Once you have coins with at least 20 days of coin age, they will begin to mint new coins, it's these new coins that require the 50 confirmations before they are spendable.

Once you are out of "Newbie Jail" the number of posts you can make is removed.
