Its phenomenal no doubt. But I would give more credit to the vehicle that carries it- Blockchain.

Its still Awesome because you can still find some not too impressive use of a platform like block chain so the innovator of bitcoin deserves credit

The factors that control prices of btc are numerous. And there is no denying the fact the whales can play a part.
Btc works on supply and demand principles.

With huge capital injections or withdrawals, the market can tilt

Re: bitcoin in developing countries
by

at present, bitcoin is becoming known to people around the world, especially in developing countries. the majority of bitcoin is introduced through news on television and on the internet. Therefore people are starting to want to know what bitcoin is and if it appeals to them, they will invest instead?

Bitcoin is a wonderful opportunity. Developing countries need all the help and opportunities that can have to offer hope to its youth. Bitcoin would help the youth and in return improve economies.

But if the requisite transition structures aren't put in place, this blessing in other parts will be a curse for developing countries.
Well the government should not be silent on bitcoin, they think bitcoin is disrupting economic stability and there will be inflation in the country.
Do you think that bitcoin will disrupt economic stability and there will be inflation due to bitcoin in a country?

It is money that has the tendency to grow in leaps and bounds. That doesn't look like bad for business to me. Especially looking at fiat and how it doesn't rise by just sitting down.

Selling Bitcoin for loss is stupid decision but selling it for profit is not.
If you are in profit and you are happy with the current amount of profit than you can sell it and book the profit. Many people loss more when they don't make exit on peak price.

Spot on.
The perception of the decision is based on the success or otherwise of the sale

You don't necessary need university education to know the economics you need to do Cryptos.

It helps, but it is not obligatory

Stupid is a strong to use especially concerning someone's decision.

If you need cash, you need to trade the coins you have, so you get it.

And holders who want more need to buy from others. I don't think stupid is a good description of peoples' willingness to do business.

Re: Investment in Bitcoin vs Investment in Education?
by
Beck09
on 15/06/2018, 10:32:21 UTC
Instead of a competition, I see this would work better as a collaboration.

You need both of them to ensure a good and successful life.

You need education to properly understand how bitcoin works, so you don't make a wrong investment

Both are vital in the success equation

Re: Wise thing to do with your savings.
by

I think the wisest way to do with my savings is to invest on bitcoin. In this way I could save my money while gaining from it.

Certainly.
Investment is the best thing to do after after savings.

With an opportunity as bitcoin available, your guess is as good as mine.

There a lot of people who invest in bitcoin without knowing about its featues properly and later on they face a lot of difficulties. So, study before you invest.

Surely, preparation is needed. Take time to understand the system. With that, these variations won't scare you

Almost everything on earth is a risk. Investments are no exception.

Venturing into a field with adequate preparation, in research and wisdom, only opens you up for avoidable mishaps.

It is risky, but with tact and proper preparation, the benefits will be bountiful.

Prepare well and the risks will be significantly reduced

Re: What happens if we die?
by
Beck09
on 14/06/2018, 00:04:54 UTC
Nope, this is no existential question (although...). Everybody's talking about "When will Bitcoin die", but what if you die, and your family don't find your key, or don't understand it, or think it's only a useless sheet of paper with some code on it, or simply throw it away... Does this mean the currency's gone forever?

I find the possibility of this event rather realistic (yup I don't believe in eternal life), so that means that someday there might be 21M BTC but only 18M (and counting down...) is left in the market?
I agreed with you,..That is ver much possible to be happen, So I think it is really good to do and needed that we need to teach someone we can trust about our bitcoin savings at least if there's unexpected happen to me there is person knows my private key and password.

Just what I thought. It's just leaving a will when you die, but instead you will give them private key with the instructions how they can retrieve the coins if they dont have any idea what it really is about

A will is the way to go. Its one if your assets, and as such should be available to be inherited
