I agree Eth has great potential but also has to work out some scaling issues. I like Dash as well, doing a great job marketing which is huge in this space. The reason I mention digibyte is due to its security. I always try to keep a percentage of my hodlings in a ultra secure coin. Especially after what happened with zencash. I have a feeling that will not be the last major 51% attack. Hodling platform projects is key but they aren't always as secure as multi-algo projects.
Another great multi-algo coin that has tons of potential is Unitus. Ive been accumulating Unitus for a while now. No ICO, No Pre-mine and No dev tax. 5 algos, all merge mineable which allows the miner to get rewards from two projects at the same time while only using the energy of mining one. You can mine it with CPU/GPU/ASIC without the ASICs having an unfair advantage. You can even mine with a cell phone. One of the best features will be a hybrid proof of work/proof of stake system that will be implemented in 2018, which will allow hodlers to earn block rewards for hodling. Their circulating supply is only 58 million, it will hit its soft cap of 83 million in June of 2022. Afterwards block rewards will stay at 2 UIS.
Yep. I agree with UIS. They have a ton of great things going for them for being a sub $1MM coin. Ultra security with the Multi-AUXPoW blockchain. Addition of PoS soon. We have been making excellent progress in this regard.
As of our last update, we have landed on another exchange, Cryptohub. That pushes the number of exchanges we are on to 3. We are now also planned for VicEx which opens soon and are already planned for 2 mystery exchanges that we will reveal in the coming days/weeks! That pushes the amount of exchanges we are planned for to 6 and will also give us brand new trading pairs like ETH and multiple different Fiat pairs. I'm interested in staying in touch with this project and seeing where it goes. Currently, other than mining for the sake of mining, I don't see any real utility for the coin. Can Dev's comment on that? Maybe I've missed something?

i missed this somewhere but can anyone tell me what the total coin supply is or is it unlimited supply?
Hello. There is no max. However, most of the coins will be mined by block 3,933,199 (~June 2022). By then, approximately 100 million coins will have been mined. There are also 17 million UIS that have been burnt and if it stays like that, there will be ~83 million UIS in circulation by then.
For reference - the current block reward is 27 UIS, and it decays by a compounding 1% every 7 days until it reaches 2 UIS. Once it hits 2 UIS, it will stay like that forever.
We do not want a max supply. We want Unitus to resemble the natural decline of a valuable resource.
Think of precious metals like Gold, Silver, Palladium, Rhodium and Platinum. People have/will mine the crap out of them, but their resources will never be 100% depleted. There will always be an ore here and an ore there that contains a small amount.

This is an aspect where we believe we have extreme potential for growth. As of right now, the only real exchange we are on is cryptopia. They are a good exchange, but they are centralized and do not support fiat to crypto transactions. There are also drawbacks from being on just one exchange. Lower volume. Being on 1 exchange creates no arbitrage opportunities which naturally increase volume. Well, all of that will change very soon! Within the next couple months we will be listed on 2 more exchanges!
