I think you and I are under different impressions of "evolution & movement". I'm not referring to the price/value that's for sure, nor do I hold "tons" of Zeit. Money is not my real motivation. My motivation is in the the potential uses I see Zeit being used for. I stopped posting here a while back because I felt that those who were new to Zeitcoin just didn't really care about Zeitgeist or even really understand it. All they see is coins and profit, totally missing the point and opportunity to make some noise not only in the crypto world, but working with the Zeitgeist Movement and other groups who challenge the system and help to enlighten the masses. In my opinion, this is not the place for these kind of conversations when every other post is, "why is the price low?", "is coin dead?" etc. Bitcointalk has it's use, but for real discussions on projects, the forum has been a better environment. So if you have any ideas/skills to contribute to the community, I'd like to hear them, please come by http://forum.zeit-coin.com/

People do remember that this is an open source community and it is what we make of it, right?
Contributing skills/ideas and enlightening yourself to the Zeitgeist culture will be much more rewarding than collecting coins, no doubt. There are some here who expect to sit back in hopes that others are planning and building Zeitcoin for them. The more that people begin to look at this as a movement and not just a payoff, the more it'll evolve.
Be a part of that evolution.
Be the change you want to see in the world.

Haven't had any reason to post here lately, but I still monitor it. Since most here affiliate you with the Zeitcoin "core" members, they may interpret your response as an official one.

I know it's hard to resist feeding them sometimes, but it's much easier to hit ignore I think.
They come, they regurgitate illiteracy, then they go, same routine over and over.
When I read their trivial comments I yawn.
At least we're seeing fewer of them now that's for sure.

This is definitely something we can all weigh in on in a new thread.
I personally think it could be a small team rather than one person.
But I do agree, we need a revival in the social media department and someone to help out relaying information between devs/community.
As for the coin logo redesign, there's no rush or deadline. We can also decide that later this week.
You have plenty of time to keep tweaking your idea(s).
Not to mention everyone we'll get a chance to discuss the designs and their meanings.
I too have a rough logo idea that I'm hoping (if chosen) someone could re-do to look better.
But this is all in the days to come.
Meanwhile, we monitor the approaching end of POW and see what happens in the market.
But it shouldn't slow us down.
WE continue to evolve...

This is a great topic to have in the new forum. I was thinking the same.
There are many in TZM threads that agree with crypto but hardly know enough to get into it or support it.
That's untapped potential, and if integrated correctly, this could take off faster than we know it.
It's one of the many things we can put our heads together on in our own space, I'm done with bitcointalk.
Presenting a better explanation of cryptocurrency and this communities intentions will surely attract more from all around.
They'll see that the TZM movement has fallen short of action and crypto can take steps to making that dream a reality.

But of course we still need to prove ourselves, and the sooner the better I say.
Don't know how much longer this game will go on before governments/banks start to work their tentacles into the equation, which I see happening more and more everyday.
I see other coins/communities taking steps that will ultimately lead them right back into the hands of corporations/banks/govs.
They're willingly inviting the very filth that got us to where we are currently, just for personal gain.
Is this what this community is about? Hope not.

I think we need more activists, thinkers, revolutionary thoughts, and less coin collectors/speculators.
There are some here don't care about TZM or helping anyone but themselves.
They still think money is their salvation.
But they too may just need the veil lifted from their eyes.

I still admire the saying "Crypto was created to free the people and unite the world", because that's what it can be.

So I suggest to write down all your great thoughts/ideas and bring them to our round table Zeitcoin discussions heh.
Because here, you may get a few responses, but in our own forum, we could hash out details on projects for hours without being interrupted by "cryptorush stole me zeit " lol.

We are still forming a foundation to this whole community.
We want people to submit new coin ideas in the new forum that's coming.
Do you think it would be wise to just tweet all our coin ideas? what a mess that would be.
I know there are other ideas out there and we want to see/discuss them all.
Picking randomly of the several coin ideas that were posted yesterday and broadcasting it on Twitter as "new coin shape" proposal,
what does that do? and it's one of many other ideas, why show only that one?
It just seems amateur and unorganized to me.

We desperately need that new forum, so many things to discuss, don't think this is the best place to discuss the communities future.
seems this thread is more for "i lost my money" "give me money" "let's pump up price" "let's copy what dogecoin did" "multipool!!" etc.

I like the idea of incorporating the earth.
Maybe with some more color, looks a bit gloomy, just my dumb opinion. 

So according to Ray we should have our new forum by the end of this coming week.
Among the other things to talk about, we can have a logo contest or just a thread where we can post pics and discuss all things related to the new logo. Gather those ideas, even if their rough sketches, because maybe someone else can finalize it.
