So which chip are you using?
You mention 28nm so I'm guessing Xilinx 7-series?
Perhaps the Artix7-200T?
The hashrates seems reasonable for that at least.

Is USB the only communication interface with the host?
Seems a bit limiting to only have that as interface.

will there be a windows miner

CuBalloon is for both Linux and Windows. (CUDA miner so NVIDIA GPUs).

3%? ...

Bit rich for the dev fee considering that it is a ccminer clone and balloon addition.

Is there ANY reason why we would trial this out from a newbie like yourself and a code that seems to be a modified ccminer clone?

Let me know, and we will possibly have a look at it. Otherwise, there will be no way we would risk this in our mining systems, even though we have been looking at an opensource CUDA miner.

complaining about dev fees and sporting a link to cryptopia in his sig  Roll Eyes

funniest thing i've seen all day. feel free to not mine Deft, if you are so offended paying a small fee to a decent developer.

Since WHEN is a newbie a 'decent' developer? ...

IF a developer at all?

What KIND of imbeciles are you?

Time will tell if you all lose your coins from malicious code, OR that (hopefully) this is a valued member of the community and there is value in what he is providing.

As for promoting Cryptopia - you REALLY need to see doctor regarding what is actually being promoted here and what we have as a direct link to our stock coin. Sheesh!

You don't have to trust the code if you don't want to.
It's healthy to be a bit skeptical about unknown binaries on the internet.
The source is available, and is based on cpuminer, if you want to verify it yourself.
One of the reasons for creating this miner was for me to learn more about CUDA.

Looks like net hash rate went down for a while but now it's at a record high! I wonder if there's still no GPU miner around  Huh

I don't believe there's a GPU miner yet

In these mining pools, can any miner be used, that is, mining by the CPU, or video cards AMD e NVIDIA ?

cool, I wrote the GPU miner for Balloon algo. Message me if you need the miner also you can donate some btc for my hardwork Smiley
it was hard to crack it.

nVidia based? ...

and linux (Fedora 27 x64) ...

We would be interested in working with you for a version for us if not.

Thanks Man for the interest, I am planning to upload the code in Github.
I know its difficult to get some BTC donnation from miners. I sent the GPU miner to 5 people but only 1 donated yesterday.
so I am planning to mine some 2000 deft and release the GPU code and repository to public, I will post the link here.
sorry if the chain difficulty increased because of me.

CUDA or OpenCL?
What hashrates do you get? (on which cards?)

Would be interesting to see if your gpuminer is faster or slower than my gpuminer Wink

I haven't understood if I can use  my 5 xilinx xcs20 with one of those bitstream for something miner related or I will have to sell them

If I have found the documentation for the correct XCS20 ( https://www.xilinx.com/support/documentation/data_sheets/ds060.pdf ) then I very much doubt that you would be able to use them for mining since they have only 950 logic cells.
They were also end-of-lifed several years ago.

Why no lights on the rj45 plug? Tongue

Might be because RJ45 connectors with lights are more expensive (video was too low resolution to be able to see if it is a connector with lights that are off, or a connector without any lights).
