Who Are We?
CharityMiningPools was created to allow miners the ability to mine coins while still knowing that their hashing power is going towards something good. Our goal is to provide a positive and reliable service while delivering a small portion of the proceeds to a deserving recipient. Plans are in the works to allow individual miners to choose where they would like to donate to based on a pool of available recipients.
How Does This Work?
All coins minded at CharityMiningPools will require a mandatory 0.75% Donation fee. This donation fee will be collected and donated to the designated charitable recipient for that given month. Though we only require a minimum 0.75% Donation fee, we welcome and encourage our miners to raise the stakes and donate more to a good cause.

The fork includes digishield difficulty retargeting and 2.5 minute block times, rather than 1 minute block times.

First Developer went MIA, so we brought another developer onto the team to finish the project.
He has also gone MIA, which leaves us nowhere.
I'm looking into hiring a developer to get this done.
If anyone donates anything to the btc address in the OP, it will go straight toward hiring someone.
I can also offer bells as payment to a dev.
If anyone knows of a good, honest developer who would become a part of this community, send me a pm.
I apologize for my lack of communication. I've been working 70+ hours a week as of late, and it has eaten away at my free time.
I promise the update will happen. Do not sell your bells.

Also, Kbroadfoot has brought up an interesting proposition of increasing the block time to 2 minutes to extend mining with the fork.

We have a new developer on the team (not that the first one couldn't handle the fork because he rocks! He has been very sick).
The fork is being rapidly worked on. I expect it to be released sometime next week.
I deeply apologize for stringing you guys along, but thank you to our supporters for keeping the pressure on!
