Yes, the project seems serious, but the lack of communication from the dev is worrying. I haven't seen any of it either here on bitcointalk or on discord. Only hope I have is that there was no presale, so maybe the dev is just busy with other things. If this coin had made any MN presales, I would already assumed, the dev made an exit scam.
