Re: Investing $100 weekly
by

Hey guys. I’m able to invest about $100 weekly. Could go $200 on certain weeks but only if it’s soemthing that’s about to sky rocket or something.

I was looking for some help as what is the best approach for someone who can invest this amount weekly. I know it isn’t much but I’d like to hold long term instead of expecting big returns right away

This approach is quite OK. Remember not to invest everything in one asset. And, moreover, i wouldn't advise you to invest everything in crypto. Good luck)

Re: Bitcoin's profit
by

I heard people said that Bitcoin's profit is higher than profit of drug dealer, weapon dealers or profit of real property or any kind of stocks. Is that real ?

That can be truth if you are a very early adopter. But it is easy to see in the past. Today we all can say what a good investment it was to buy btc as early as possible. The task is to find something to invest in now.

By the way, what if you invested in Google on its early early stages? Profit could be ven higher than from BTC. But can we say now "investing in Google is more profitable than selling drugs"?

It is exciting thing that we have in cryprocurrency that there could be such manipulation. It is not illegal) and i think it is just th reality of cryptoworld that such tricks could be performed)) Roger Ver as an old friend of mine told me about his intentions in advance, so I benefited a little bit from Bitcoin Cash)))

Re: You should never trust banks
by
BennyWalker
on 20/11/2017, 16:52:12 UTC
My bank closed my account last year for no reason, and all money in my account was gone. I argued with the bank, even contacted the local government, no use. My bank just stated that "Pursuant to the CMA Disclosure and Agreement, 'THE BANK, at its discretion, may elect not to accept an account, terminate the account agreement and the account agreements of any related parties'. Both parties to the agreements have the right to end the relationship at any time and neither is obliged to provide a basis for such a decision to terminate". No single word explaing the termination was given to me. I contacted all banking lawyers online, and they were all representing the bank, not the customers. The money I lost can buy a new Mercedes. However, banks around the world now are too powerful. They are too big to fail. When you open an account in the United States, and probably also many other countries, you voluntarily give up the rights to sue the bank under their arbitrage clause. Even worse, they define the financial laws and enforce them. They can close your account, freeze and steal your property and evict you from your house. The more money you deposit into your bank account, the more you are helping the evil. I'm glad to see Bitcoin is changing all of these. Let banks die!

Guys, are you kidding me? Banks can do a lot of shit, but stealing money? I dont believe it is possible in developed countries. In my coutry whick is developing it is impossible. They can perform a various annoying tricks, close your account - yes, but they retern all funds that was on it.

In your case you should just go in court. Sew that bustards))

Re: Loans too risky?
by
BennyWalker
on 20/11/2017, 16:42:44 UTC
I know that people give out loans but what's up with people no returning what they borrowed?? I want to know this because I might give out loans myself and I want to know what to watch out for... I have ~800 BTC at the moment and would it be a bad idea to start loaning? I bought my BTC back in 2010 mid August January(when it was about $0.07 per BTC) and I noticed the price went up a ton! Also what would be some other way to grow my BTC? Any ideas on what I should do?

Something I should have added my friend was doing something you guys call "mining" I am very knew to the bitcoin world even though I have had them for a long time. I bought these bitcoin from him because he needed to sell them, my financial advisor has told me that the longer I wait the more return I would get so I told him hold the account for 5 years and ill see where I am... So last July I had gotten my account back, did a bunch of research then found you guys. So I came here to post a few posts and for everyone skeptical this is the proof https://gyazo.com/ee99cef712e9b72f03a3e8e870c33624

Maaan, trolling is prohibited in that forum  Smiley Smiley Your financial advisor suggest you to make a purchase of 56 bucks and buy bitcoins in 2010? Good joke)
And where have you been in 2013 when btc hit $1000+? "Oh, I'm almost mollionaire, but let it go through.."

Nevertheless, if somehow this story is not fake, my congratulations to you)) Dont do lending business, it is so risky as everybody have already told you on previous pages))

Re: Is trading just educated guessing?
by
BennyWalker
on 20/11/2017, 16:30:32 UTC
Can you really be sure you will profit unless you have insider info?

Educated is a key word. Damn, it really similar with guessing in fact. Because no matter how good research you did, how strong any coin looks, there is no any guaranties that this coin will go in direction you expected. Your task as a trader is to find right direction more frequently than you do mistakes.. Something like that

Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular?
by
BennyWalker
on 20/11/2017, 16:18:35 UTC
Do you think if BTC had a stable price which could only be altered by $0.01-0.10 it would still be as popular and as used?

No, it wouldn't. Current popularity is, first of all, because of extra growth which I cant compare with any other kind of asset. All that tittles in mass media "bitcoin broke 5k", "bitcoin broke 7k" and so on are the reason of bitcoin popylarity.

Re: Difference of Trading and Investing?
by
BennyWalker
on 20/11/2017, 16:12:18 UTC
Guys sorry for this question above but I would like to ask here that

What is the difference of Trading to Investing?

though I know that I can search it in google but I want an answer from those people who have already experienced this two.
Thank you.

I hope you can help me in my confusion..

The difference is in amount of time that you hold you position. It everything is so subjective, but in my opinion if you hold you position less than 2 week, you are trader. You hold it for a longer time, you are likely investor.

Thanks in advance
best regards
Marin

Watch cex.io . This is crypto exchange that is quite good in my opinion. I used it for a short period of time and everything was OK. This exchnge is in your jurisdiction, so I hope everything will be OK)

Good idea man, why not? Espessialy if it will not cost you a fortune to integrate crypto in your business. I suppose that accepting BTC in your business will work first of all as marketing tool. But that 5 petential customers who wanted to pay n BTC would be happy for sure!) Good luck!

Re: Best way to use 45 BTC
by
BennyWalker
on 20/11/2017, 15:38:36 UTC
Dear All,

one of my friends have 45 BTC in his pocket.(which was bought 5 years ago).

Need expertise advice how to use them effectively??

I would advise to fix his profit. Your friend had already done a great move. So why not to tranfer 15-20 BTC in fiat. That money could be invested in some more conservative assets tham cryptocurrency like stock market of real estate. Another 20-25 BTC should remain in crypto.

Re: Btc: hodl or invest?
by
BennyWalker
on 20/11/2017, 15:11:03 UTC
Well, investing in other coin has a bigger potential than hodling. But it is important to choose that altcoins properly. Choosing between these two alternatives I would put 70% of your capital in bitcoins and invest other 30% in altcoins. The final decision is yours Smiley

Re: Any techniques in investing in bitcoins?

Lets create a thread in investing in coins , feel free to message your techniques and advice.

If I talk about investing,  Best Strategy is to buy and Hold. I think we should consider Bitcoin as a long-term investment so if you are interesting I would suggest you the following. in fact I personally don't invest in Bitcoin I think it's too risky because Bitcoin can go down suddenly and loss could be huge. I do trading. I do not invest for a long time. anyway good luck to you

Re: Bitcoin broke 8000 USD. how far it will go?
by
BennyWalker
on 20/11/2017, 14:30:39 UTC
Today bitcoin price reaches above 8000

This is a new high, what do we expect to reach next? 9,000 or 10,000?

Is there be another bitcoin price correction at 9,000 or 10,000

Altcoins are going down again. No much growth from there

I bet bitcoin will reach 10k without any correction. After that correction is possible, before - i think no.
