In the mean time, if you essentially need to run votecoind without safe mode, use -disablesafemode parameter. But please understand this is a temporary fix and you absolutely need to download newest version of VoteCoin when it is released (hopefully tomorrow)

Is it just Zcash fork? When I read the title of this topic and start of description I was expecting protocol for betting Dapps but as far as I see - this is one more coin with a native app for some kind of voting, am I wrong?
