he is dead. I mean physically literally dead. Unless he returns in zombie mode there is no way he can continue development
He was last active a year ago but if you trace his wallets, he made some transaction back in the Summer. Since BTC and most likely ETH are going to moon and "might" hit ATH again, we will know if he is still out there whether he moves his ETH coins to an exchange. It would be irresponsible to not take some partial profits at least when ETH hit $1000 again. Since at 2 points in time, it hit a low of $80 and when you see profit that large you should take it.
Typically in most online settings, when someone quits a project, instead of announcing they are retiring from the project, they just stop posting. Pretty much become a ghost and move on to other things. Besides the DAG problem, the software was pretty stable and didn't really need much developement. Maybe he doesn't want to upgrade the software because he wants to give other miner devs some profit sharing. Plus the profits aren't the same as in 2017-2018.
Circumstances also change where it might be beneficial to not sell/move the coins. Perhaps he is moving countries. In the US the simple act of moving coins counts as a transaction as it's treated like real-estate property and not an equity.

Just played a couple games of Red Alert Yuri's Revenge. You know it's sad when a 15 yo game is more entertaining than a lot of the crap that comes out these days.

If you run external drives with stock factory enclosures they will most likely overheat and die. Take them out of the enclosure at a minimum.

A fool and his money are soon parted.
Obviously the money wasn't doing anything useful where it was before - may it find a better home.
Do you guys think Poloniex is safe to deposit more coins to generate interest in the lending section?
I do. In fact, I have.
How is poloniex better than nova exchange? Which one is more reliable in terms of giving stable prices in the long run?
I'm having better luck on Nova - I'm getting much better rates there. There are too many lowballers lending for cheap on Poloniex. Why the hell would you risk you crypto on an exchange for 0.03% per day before fees - you're better off putting money in a CD.

Re: Woman breaks into zoo to pet tiger, gets bitten
i would buy a Model 3 if it can drive 400 miles or more (it cant).
I would buy a Model 3 if it could drive 150 miles and I didn't have to drive it. I had my fill of stupid drivers and traffic - I could find a better use of my commute time.
