Re: I built WhatifBitcoin to Visualize Past Bitcoin Investments

I had some free time in April and pushed some updates to https://whatifbitcoin.org
I just finished comparing it with an older archive from a few months back to figure out what's new and it appears that you've done a magnificent job there [keep up the good work], but I noticed there's an issue in the projections calculator section... Specifically referring to the chart [if you select any of the predictions from the year 2025, the chart in question vanishes] and in addition to that, it also leads to a lot of repetitive data in the latter part of the same section [screenshot].

Thank you. This was solved.

Would love to hear your thoughts   Cool

You did a great work there which I believe will be inspiring to newbies when  visited your site.
Actually it still fumes my regrets not to had invested in the bitcoin earlier when it came across my attention but as well, it is encouraging that investing now is still not late because it has a lot of future potential promises which is worth enough to do away with my earlier regrets.

Thank you. I am sure it is never too later to get involved to BTC.

I DCA for real to make some charts. Once a day, once a week, once a month and once in a while. No lies.

It prints a graph.

I just added DCA. More features to come  Grin

Thank you for sharing ideas, guys.

You are awesome.

Is there something I can add to make it more informative for newcomers?  Huh
Super.
It gave me a nostalgic feeling going back to 2010ish when I was in college and  how much bitcoin I would have bought then and all of that. Here are some recommendations. Since you will have people from all over the world accessing the website, can you have more currency denominations? Secondly, since it is more like for newcomers to bitcoin, can you attached like some solid investment strategy because they will feel like they have missed the train and the investment strategy will be there to guide then on how to accumulate bitcoin.  For example the Dollar cost average strategy is one that will be very helpful.

Awesome ideas. Working on DCA right now and will update it soon. I want to get the logic right.

Would love to hear your thoughts   Cool

Here are some of my thoughts.
1. The website design looks great.
2. It would be great if we can choose date by using text box (DD-MM-YYYY) or calendar toolbox rather than slider bar.
3. It'd be great if you replace text "Bitcoin Ambassadors" with "Bitcoin Figures", because newcomer may falsely assume they represent Bitcoin.

1. Thank you
2. You can click on a date and the calendar box will appear

3. You are right. Updated, will deploy soon  Grin

Damn, great job! On what did you build it? React + frameworks with the hooks, probably?

The app is purely a self-hosted Next.js Cheesy Happy to share more if interested.

I've been thinking a lot about the moments we missed and the ones ahead.

So I made WhatifBitcoin.org - it's a quick way to glimpse how past Bitcoin investments might look today.

Would love to hear your thoughts   Cool

I am afraid there is no proper solution. Maybe crypto com comes the closest, but I don't think they have the same limit Binance had.

This project is pure money hunter.

People in charge who are involved with this project have zero experience working in the adult field.

What price was on ICO and what on pre-ico? Now 0.35$ and trading on Livecoin and shit ED only... Are they planning listing to better exhanges?

The price was $0.1, but it's still trading cheaply.

By my calcs it is trading well below ICO price? If an Eth bought 7244 ipl at ICO, they are worth about $740us at current btc pair price on livecoin? Well less than the value of an eth. Or have a miscalculated somewhere?

The way you are calculating this made me laugh Grin

IPL is most likely trading at the discount price.

Im sory but you are all idions. Bunch of newbie account and trashing this ICO. Would you rather invest in an ICO that tanks below ICO price once it reaches exchange?

Start reading what actually happened.

There was a presale where they were gathering 70% of the funds. And they got the funds. And guess what. The price of ETH rise more than 70% and those 70% in pre ico just became like 120%... They returned some ETH back to us early investors so they still honored that some money could come in crowdsale and it did.

Me personaly am mad that there was even a crowdsale becouse they returned ETH back to me so that they could make a room for crowdsale. This was one of the bect ICOs and project youll ever see.

And if you cant understan that (becouse you are mad cuz you didnt get in) for me you are retarded.

Just invest ASAP when IPl comes on exchange, becouse you will still make money!

My point exactly.

But things will get back on track and if Ethereum continues to rise in the following days, buying IPL on exchanges might actually get you more IPL for the buck than ICO with 10% bonus.

Good point. Who wants can still get in  Grin

I am sure you will be able to buy on exchanges at pretty much the same price.

But people whining about the scam, they forgot what happened to BAT (site offline, whales got it all) and many others. Also, EOS got called scam not so long ago and now it's rising.

Who wanted IPL can still get IPL. I will sure buy some.
