Re: [ANN][KMD][dPoW] Komodo - Zcash Zero Knowledge Privacy Secured by Bitcoin

Just recently I have increased my stake on komodo with low at the moment. It is really a good time to buy and now btc is moving up I could sense alt-coins specially Komodo will follow the trend . Just waiting for the big announcement of ICO launching.

I have the exact same vision for KMD & BTC;  I'm always amazed at   people decision to be  stick solely to BTC. As much as I believe in the potential of having a lot of bitcoins I have always believed Komodo has a bright future

Every post like this I snort under my nose. KMD -20% this week = Wow, good time to buy more! 1 week later kmd next -20% = WOW KMD BUY MORE. 4 weeks later, half year later kmd -$[<>[% and they still say this shit here xD
Wake up ppl, 80% other coins follow btc or go 5-50x more. Komodo coin for now is useless and current price is clean speculation. You can defend project but you are clowns if you defending price, you cant say the price is low or high, coin is useless for now.

Shame on me I bought this shit in bullstrap pump, admin should forestall ppl to not buy this test coin before it will get any value.

Fire from holders ass START!

Hey troll, empty vessels make more noise.

I will speak here again after next -20%, see ya in week Wink

If KMD is really that bad, why don't you selling? If you sold why are you still here? If you are not selling then you just complaining price is lower then your entry point and someone should rise the price. Will not happen on your demand. Ether HODL as the rest of the people or buy more if you have other funds, thus lowering your point.                    I think it's pointless to tell you the last option - sell, make someone happy today.

...[stuff]....
They say that the true measure of success is how hard FUDders troll; if they are right, you just server to prove that Komodo is a good investment.  Cool

....Im curious how many ppl this project lost bcuz this fucking troll whose spreading fake infos and lies everywhere. Nobody will get serious when real and good news will come. Delete this fcker pls, I will pay 100 kmds
Irony --- that "fcker " is now you.  Smiley

That was answer for Troll who spam 2x/day KMD MOONING". Im not troll, im just realistic, as you can see I was always man who isnt any side, just BE REALISTIC. =)
In that case please be more realistic. We have definitive accumulation phase. No-news, No-price-movement, Some-fud. I can assure you a lot of buyers are sitting around that 0.0005 price not letting it to go lower.
Most of the people here know with 100% certainty the news will come sooner or later. Do your math please. I would buy now (hm, actually I do) LOL.

For what its worth, this is my personal take of why KMD's price is not jumping up as the rest of the coins around.

Being one of THOSE, who mined BTCD few years ago I can only tell you from my own perspective and understanding of what is happening with the price. There are 2-3 hundred people around, including me who have certain FEEL and understanding in what James and Co is doing. I assure you we are talking about $50 coin, BUT.
At this moment of low exposure and price ($USDT) jumping up 30% here and there, I just can't resist scooping up more and more cheap coins, if you know what I mean.... $3.60 not yet, to expensive.
$2.10 4 days ago, yeap, I'll take them all (ghrrr PondSea) Smiley.

Still having syncyng problems (0-balance) but for those who think it works out of the box, please don't (not yet). This is an experimental software and it's first of it's kind, 20-30 minutes lag is expected. The idea is that whole new fin-cryptoecosystem is about to give birth to an :unexpected child. Bear with it. Or go away if you wish, it'll ask you for alimony payment down the road ...

Unfortunately 1.3.5 did not work for me ether. Stays idle with mm consuming 133.4Mb all the time..?
I'm using linux version where everything is smooth, but for larger consumer base stable windows compile is essential.

Edit: synced up in 20+ minutes. Testing.
what about the dICO app?
Pretty much surprised I'm the only guy with this problem voicing it here, waiting for another resync atm.
EDIT: BTW, if anyone thinks this is some kind of problem for KMD, buy it now, or wait ...

James, I know you have nothing to do with GUI, but these claims are consistent. Out of curiosity I have also tried 1.3.3 in fresh windows, nope, no good yet. Marketmaker runs, but balances would stay @0 with all chains fully synced.

I`m new to Komodo blockchain and was really surprised that it has no wallets releases with final version yet!
Agama wallet, which is recommended on the first post of this thread is only in early beta version and it's recommended that one does not use it as a primary wallet for one's cryptocurrencies!
Ok, I downloaded this wallet and try to get my address, but the wallet just stack in downloading blocks(
Is there a faq how to skip basilisk network checks at on Agama wallet startup?

You dont need a wallet per se - the only one that I think you need is the Swing wallet.

Do you mean than I can use Komodo Swing Wallet for Monaize? I`m curious because it is not on the recommended list on the first post of this thread.
Well, how can I verify if Komodo Swing Wallet is working fine for Monaize as its dICO has not started yet?

You don't. The swing wallet is just a regular wallet for KMD. Unless you use Linux, try using Buildog's BarterDEX. It's suppose to work with MNZ and BTC, KMD, REVs or whatever daemon you have running atm. Please do not forget, Komodo uses atomic swap protocol, meaning you need to run all the coins at the same time (yes, including full BTC node, unless it's in electrum mode).

I assume it was answered before, but could not find it on the last 40+ pages. I would greatly appreciate if anyone answers this:

If NXT assets are transferred to private addresses, would it be possible to fund those wallets with revenues when available? If not, all assets have to be in open addresses?
I saw someone asked about 1million JUMBLR assets somewhere and nobody answered that. I am curious too, if there are 500k NXTprivacy, why is there twice as much JUMBLR with 1:1 exchange ratio?

I am pretty sure it's somewhere in the thread, but can't really locate these answers.
Very good job done with KMD, will definitely participate in MNZ's dICO.
to receive revshares, it needs to be in a transparent address, otherwise there is no way to know how much is where when it is in private form. that is why it is private.

this is why I designed JUMBLR to work the way it does, where it comes back out into a transparent address that is unlinked. Of course it is best to run silent for a while before bringing it back out to increase the effective anon set.

If I understand what you want, I think the following sequence is a bit of work, but will achieve your goals, ie. able to receive revshares in a private way:

1. use barterDEX to convert BOTS (just used as an example) into KMD
2. JUMBLR the KMD into t->z and z->z and wait a while
3. after "a while" (the longer the more privacy), run JUMBLR with a totally unrelated secret address (preferably on a different node and definitely using a different IP address!). This gets the KMD to a totally unlinked address.
4. barterDEX KMD back into BOTS

Now you have BOTS whose only history is the KMD that came out of z->t transaction and has no linkage to you on the blockchain.

Half the JUMBLR has already been processed and moved to the assetchain, when I do that I burn it on the NXT chain so we can keep track of how much is left to be converted.
Thank you James, this is exactly what I was looking for.

I have used the Heat exchange for a while now. Its a solid, trustworthy exchange and I am thrilled that XEL is on it.

My one disclaimer for this exchange is: Read the instructions carefully when you are withdrawing, you need to do some additional tasks aside from an amount and a recipient address.
100% agree with you. I have being using it for awhile now too. The only issue they have now is manual BTC withdrawal. It took them 3 days to send BTC to my wallet last time. Other then that, I have never had any issues with HEAT DEX.
