Hi, after 60h of stable running the hash drops by 50%, but program dose not restart. Is there or can you add an option in 1bash filr " if hash under x Restart" ?

Tnx
Hash drops usually for 2 reasons
1- GPU not fully utilize, which Iamnotajeep watchdog will be aware and restart the miner
2- GPU get hot and Maxximus cant get it to temp limit  with 100% fan and it will lower the power usuage.

Yes but i am using pure P106-100 rig so both of those are disabled.
I would like to know if what i asked can be coded so i dont have to manually restart everytime

Hey everyone.

As fullzero has already posted the instruction on OC of P106-100 rigs, I can confirm that this works and i am now using cc -200 and mc 1300(was stable for over 10 hours )  , I think it can go to 1400-1500 but I am in the process of testing the 12th card since it caused me issues everytime i connected before.

Also I have another question to ask fullzero : When I start the rig it sometimes doesn't swap the xorg files and giving me errors which lead to the OC being off(Sometimes even after autoreboot it doesn't autostart 1bash). This solves after a couple of reboots but I can't figure out how to reboot it so the OC will work and the miner also would start automatically since sometimes when I turn it on the miner doesn't autostart and this leads to further errors and no OC available. So far I haven't found any other problems so thank you again for solving OC issue.

Can you advise on what should I do in that case?

Hi all,
I can also confirm that all 13*P106-100 are working.
Dual mining ETH/PASC at CC 0, MC 1300, Powerlimit 115, i get eth 307/pascal 3070. 6 hours stable.

I was able to connect to lards; and I now know how to get nvOC to work with OC on a pure p106-100 rig that is pure headless interacting with it via ssh.

If you have a pure p106-100 rig; make sure you thank lards for setting everything up exactly the way I needed.

I will respond to all the posts / make and post a 1bash + pure p106-100 guide tonight.

thank you !!! You guys are the best !!!

hi,
here is what you need to do
for now you must have one GTX card it is not possible with 13* p106-100 card only 12 cards.

1. connect via GTX vga port its a must for now
2. open 1bash file and change rest
3. GPUPowerMizerMode_Adjust="YES"
4. # Set PowerMizerMode
GPUPowerMizerMode=1

5.
find this (bottom) and change only what i told you the CC and MC.

REBOOT_TIMEOUT_IN_MINUTES=720   # every 24 hours

POWERLIMIT="NO"                 # YES NO

POWERLIMIT_WATTS=115

__CORE_OVERCLOCK=95 ( THIS is what i set for my GTX only as this will only apply to GTX )
MEMORY_OVERCLOCK=950 ( THIS is what i set for my GTX only as this will only apply to GTX )

MANUAL_FAN="NO"                # YES NO

6. set GPU 1-12 via powermizer in the "nvidia x server settings" i put CC +99 and MC +1200 thats as stable as i got it 296-299 MH/s

7. Note every time you restart your rig you need to put setting in powermiser again only for GPU 1-12

hope this helps, ask if you need anything i can maybe help with.

P106-100 BOUNTY

The person who will be able to unlock the overclock of my 13x P106 Rig (on the ASRock H110 BTC) with nvOC will get

1 ETH

I only got pure P106-rigs and no non-mining cards mixtures.

PM me and I will give you access to one of my Rigs.

Thanks!

The Dev fullzero is your man.
Edit: i also have the same problem. for now i must add one GTX card for OC to work via powermizer.

Hi, i managed to connect 13*p106-100 gpu-z with no display output but when i log on via teamviewer the resolution is too small to do anything, could you fix this so that the resolution is normal ? Then i can do everything easily and test to my will:)

Edit: i get this in restart log :
Sun Aug 20 18:10:35 CEST 2017 - Utilization is too low: reviving did not work so restarting system in 10 seconds

Sun Aug 20 18:13:03 CEST 2017 - Starting miner restart script.

what does it mean

You would have to use a custom edid to increase the teamviewer resolution without a display.   It is not worth your time to do this; the easier way to test this is to ensure 1bash is configured to use SSH and REMOTE; then SSH into the rig and run commands via console.  I will most likely connect to lards rig later today and try this out.  I expect that all the GPUs will run as expected via console (nvoc isn't configured to use console mode, but you can manually start mining by launching 1bash or 2unix manually); the OC commands are also different from console.

ok thank you i will check.

can you tell me about the second part of the question ? the Rig or Program restarts, and in 4restart file i found this :

Sun Aug 20 18:10:35 CEST 2017 - Utilization is too low: reviving did not work so restarting system in 10 seconds

Sun Aug 20 18:13:03 CEST 2017 - Starting miner restart script.

what does it mean ??

When will you make a fix for P106 Huh

Fullzero said as soon as he gets a hold of 2 P106-100 cards.

Read pages 125 up to now and you can make it work

Some proof things work. still need a good Tutorial on 1bash file meanings for nvOC so ppl don't wast time on trial and error.

Hi,

can you explain to me how to set Power limit for GPU-z ?
also when i try to OC on bash file no effect, i must do it in powermizer to work.

On another note I have Asrock H110 BTC+ PRO with 13*P106-100 6GB GPU-z, they all work fine, and i see ppl asking about CPU, G3900 i not enough minimum you should tell them is i3 7100 3.9ghz 2-Cor/4-Thread
i had G3900 but system froze a lot as CPU usage was 70+% now with the i3 everything is good, CPU usage avg. 20-30%

The problem is with the P106-100 not being properly recognized in nvOC.  Until they are; you will not be able to use powerlimit or OC with them.

Hi,

i have successfully reduced power-limit (via 1bash) as was instructed by the program its just trial and error, as there is not a tutorial for nvOC.
( set maximus =YES and Individual Power set =YES then set preferred values and restart system.) I confirm that it works.
for OC powermiser works but tomorrow we will test if it will work with 1bash file.
we are running 1*gtx1060 for vga(display) and 12*p106-100 all cards are running and working. Until you get hold of P106-100 to make it possible to run 13*P106-100 ppl must use one normal gaming GPU.

Hum weird u cant set powerlimit ... On 1bash did u set YES on
Quote
Maxximus007_AUTO_TEMPERATURE_CONTROL="YES"

If YES u have to set individual power limit on 1bash, if NO, u have to set the main powerlimit in 1bash

ok i did this, how do i now see if it actually worked ? i cant use terminal because it just restarts the mining program

U can open a new terminal and just open another putty, u can open as many terminal as u want.
On a terminal do

export DISPLAY=0
watch -n 1 nvidia-smi

Last command provide you info about Fan Speed / Temp / Watt / GPU votality with a permanent refresh every 1 sec, if u want to check only one time just do

nvidia-smi

Thank you all works now

hi,
i have Asrock H110 btc+ pro, and 13xMining/P106-100 (1060 6gb) GPU-z everything works fine and stable with other OS-es, but with your OS it keeps restarting and restarting because of not being able to see/find xorg file.

We managed to start the OS via GTX 1060 card and then added the Mining P106-100 (1060 6gb) cards, but no go with only the Mining P106-100 (1060 6gb) cards. can you look in to this ? i would like to use your OS but dont want to have a normal gaming card, don't need it when using all Mining cards.

Can you also make a explination on overckloking as we tried via the file but failed. we only managed to individually overclock via the Nvidia x server.

thank you.
