look in the flags file

Thank you. I also find it in the ethOS 1.2.9 changelog now:
- Removed all claymore stubs, claymore confs moved to ethOS conf with flags option (now remote.conf is possible with claymore).

This makes it even more easier to control.

Where can I found the former claymore.stub.conf file?

I used: find . -name "*.stub.conf" to search but I can only find sgminer.

Guys please keep it fair here, don't spread FUD and lies only to move miners away. There's nothing bad about competition but keep it fair please, you won't "earn 15% more" on a different pool - there's simply no possibility unless the pool overpays by 15 %. Pools over time are the same, simply choose your preference.

And also that "donation" thing.. I've stated earlier already that MINERS should decide if they want to donate - not the pool.. It's not my decision what happens with the hashing power, the people point the hashing power to the pool and they should earn what they deserve: the coins. They don't point the rigs to the pool for a "forced donation" - if they want to donate, they can either simply send a portion of the mined coins to the btcz community or the btcz community can create a worker on the pool for donation purposes and the miners can switch their rigs to that worker either on a load balanced basis or simply manually for a certain amount of time. However, I, as a pool, won't introduce a "forced donation" on the pool - period.

Exactly what I think. I am mining BTCZ on Suprnova for a while because at this moment it's technically the best pool to mine this coin.

Fix that official donation website and I will look what I can miss from my earnings. Of course I also want the best for this coin in the future. But forcing to use that poor znomp pools with just <10 miners will not help.

To transfer your MyBitcoinZ CoPay wallet to the swing wallet follow the steps below:

1. Open MyBitcoinZ and go to settings
2. Click your wallet under Wallets & Integrations
3. At the bottom click More Options then click "Export Wallet"
4. It will require you to put in a password, enter a password and select Download
5. Save the .json file somewhere safe
6. Open .json file with notepad

7. Navigate to https://bitwiseshiftleft.github.io/sjcl/demo/
8. Copy and paste .json file contents into Ciphertext box
9. Enter Password into the Password text box
10. Click the "Decrypt" arrow above the Ciphertext box
11. In the box that says Plaintext, find where it says xPrivKey and copy the key - ie, copy the bold portion :: "xPrivKey":"xprv9s21ZrQH143K4AQUJKjefk34jdlfkdf99383kjfkJFwkfjekJkaeipqFKKEM3434"
12. Navigate to https://bip32jp.github.io/english/
13. Copy xPrivKey into BIP32 Extended Key
14. Select BIP 44 k'th account i'th keypair (receive) from the Derivation Path dropdown
15. Typically Account and Keypair Index will be 0, if you've used any but the first public address assigned to you by MyBitcoinZ wallet, you'll have to change this. I'll explain how to figure that out below.
16. Copy the field Private Key (WIF)
17. Open swing wallet, click Wallet dropdown, import one private key and paste the Private Key (WIF) into the input box

If you're not using the first address given to you by MyBitcoinZ wallet
1. All the information is the same except when you navigate to the website in step 12
2. You'll find your Wallet Addresses under "Wallet Addresses" under Settings -> More Options
3. Find the wallet address you need, you'll see xpub/0/1, xpub/0/2, etc. The last number is what you'll put into Keypair index on the website in step 12 which will recover the funds from that wallet address into your swing wallet

What's the best way to setup the BitcoinZ wallet for Windows? Do it like this way or just sending the coins to your new address?

Yeah that's how LuckPool works.

From the website:
Miners Jackpot
- BitcoinZ
- 1000 BTCZ of the block reward is paid to the block finder.
- This leaves (11500 BTCZ + tx fee rewards - pool fee) for all miners.

Are you connected via integrated GPU?

No disabling the onboard video is the first thing I do with a new motherboard.

I set auto update to yes in 1bash and rebooted.  It started mining, then killed the miner and started the update process (which includes a newer nVidia driver).  Anyway, when it was done, it rebooted to this:

http://www.cstone.net/~dk/0019-1.2.JPG

I type it the miner1 password, and it just keep looping back to the same prompt.  Rebooted and got the same thing.

I SCP'ed over my 0019-1.1 1bash and 3main files and rebooted again.  Got to the same screen as above.  So I guess my only option now is to go back to the 0019 image and start fresh?

The last time I have the same problem when I update a fresh v0019 installation. It looks like this has something to do with the newest NVIDIA drivers.

After a new fresh USB stick or SSD this happens over and over again. There is no way to login.

The only option now is not to update the NVIDIA drivers. How can I fix this?

in my opinion using global commands not usefull. i only set globalfanspeed and maxgputemp for all rigs
maxgputemp 75
globalfan 80
settings fine for all my rigs.
all of other settings as core mem clock settings optimised rig by rig

I don't have the time to optimize all cards individual. So I choose for stable settings that will work on every card with Samsung memory.

But my problem has nothing to do with the global commands. I think it has something to do with nvidia-smi but didn't found the solution yet.

I'm thinking of switching back to nvOC because that gives me a better hashrate and lower power usage Huh But now I just bought ethOS and I like the panel they use. So maybe it will be better to continue using ethOS and hopefully I will found a solution to get the same results as nvOC.

Is there a way to set the core clock in nvidia-smi? I now use globalcore 1556 in local.conf but it's doing nothing with my MSI GeForce GTX Gaming 1060 X 3G cards.

I like ethOS very much, but unfortunately the power usage of my ethOS rigs is 75 watt higher compared to my similar nvOC rigs.
I tried do to some changes in custom.sh but it's still not working. The core clock stays about 1750 MHz which results in this higher usage.

Code:
nvidia-settings -c :0 -a '[gpu:0]/GPUMemoryTransferRateOffset[3]=1500'
nvidia-settings -c :0 -a '[gpu:0]/GPUGraphicsClockOffset[3]=-800'

Why is this code not working? Do I need to change more?

[EDIT] I think I fixed this problem for the biggest part by myself. The globalpowertune was set to 72 because of the 60% of TDP 120W. But it seems like the MSI GeForce GTX Gaming 1060 X 3G has a minimum of 100W. So now I use globalpowertune 100 and the power usage from the wall is about 690W at this moment.

Still not perfect but acceptable. I'd like to experiment a little more with the core clock to get this at 675W. In nvOS I'm able to set the core with nvidia-smi to -800 but in ethOS it's only working till -200 Sad Is there a way to overrule this setting?

Personally I set GPU clocks on a per rig basis.  Those values appear about right for a 1060 however.

I would also set the power limit for the GPU to 80W and remove the globalcore value (the NVIDIA cards will simply then run the core clocks to fit within the power budget).

I already knew my settings from former Windows rigs. So what I did now is booting with an old Windows 10 installation and looked in Afterburner for the values. I thought maybe there is an easier solution to find that.

I ended up with globalmem 4551 and globalpowertune 78 (65% of TDP 120W) and that gave me the right hashrate and stability that I was looking for Cool

How do I calculate the globalmem for NVIDIA cards? In Windows I simply used +750 in Afterburner. After that I switched to nvOC and there I doubled the numbers to +1500 because of Linux.

Now I am testing ethOS and it looks like this is again a different system.

For now I use globalcore 1300 and globalmem 4700 on my GTX 1060 but it will be nice if I can calculate the right amount to get a stable rig.
