btc hype is very high now and nothing is impossible in crypto space.

There’s nothing impossible in the crypto space. But the hype is very much high. Don’t be deceived. It’s a bullish trend for BTC, and it’s making the rounds on most investment blogs and channels.

The role of the media is very influential in this regard. if we see today so many people are interested in investing in cryptocurrency. but they should also pay attention to the risks they face. right now maybe the market is experiencing an increase. but if the market is bear, if they don't have money management, they will lose money in that condition

I didn’t expect the pump to last this long. I am a long term holder, having experienced the 2018, bullish and bearish trend, I felt the same was going to happen here. That’s just a reminder that market trend could be a difficult art to bet on.

While it is good to know you have compiled some good skills for trading. I would like to say that success in trading especially short term trading comes with not just luck when you want to be consistent with getting gains.
I would advise you gain experience in looking not just at the charts, but at the external effects that have influence on the market of each coin.
Bitcoin is totally out of the game here for me. That because it has a lot of these external effects which could easily influence its price.

Generally, be close to information. Verifiable early information. And have guts.

Re: Just because a user has Trust on another website does not make them trusted here
by

Using the same username on different platforms only comes with a transfer of reputation and trust advantage if the user can fully prove they’re the same person. I wouldn’t trust someone with ‘Theymos’ as a username on a different platform. There’ll have to be need to verify which makes no difference in general.

I posted about this days back.

It doesn’t make much sense trusting someone on the internet just because they seem to be familiar. That’s an easy scam, Newbies fall for. Accounts get hacked, sold, and people change. Always take precautions and cut down the risks to the minimum.

by

The basic market price determinants are demand and supply. Scarcity doesn’t directly affect the market value, it affects the supply which reflects in the market price. Demand also has a role, and except there’s a reciprocal increase in demand, bitcoin halving wouldn’t boost the bitcoin price.

Creating a distinction isn’t much of a good idea. And that’s exactly what this would do. The main is to ensure all good posts are merited, that could be done by increasing number of merit sources, and more specifically by ensuring all merit sources understand that they have a ‘JOB’ to do and it’s not just a medal.

Iran Puts $80M Bounty on Trump’s Head
"“If everyone anywhere in the world supports our initiative in Mashhad, on behalf of all of Iran’s people - 80 million Iranians - and each puts aside $1 US, it would equal $80 million,” the report said. “And we would give this $80 million, on our own behalf, as a gift to anyone who brings the head of the person who ordered the murder of the grand figure of our revolution.”

If there were any doubt about whom the mullahs wanted assassinated, the statement concluded, “Anyone who brings us the head of this yellow-haired lunatic, we would give him $80 million on behalf of the great Iranian nation.”"

You only get to have 777 merit score once (except theymos decides to) so it’s a magic merit number. Enjoy it still it goes higher.
I was thinking, what are some of the ways to make use of this on a Sunday morning? Probably, going to be a lucky day for you.

Edit;

I think it would be great if the ranking system was tagged on angel numbers instead of round up numbers. Ranking up to member  at 11, full member at 111, sr member at 222, hero at 555 and legendary at 777 (instead of 775) would be cool.

Since there’re boards for less important discussions, creating that for lightning network shouldn’t be questioned, it would be great to have a LN board. It’s quite unfortunate that it’s taking a long time, early discussions about LN could have been easier to follow up.

The quote feature is best used to highlight/stress a specific idea you want to post about or reply to.

As a campaign manager often I have to check users post history when they apply for join on campaign.

There are other uses for bounty hunters in bounty reporting threads. I have seen Some campaign managers demand that from hunters.

I think this should count as a new addition to historical change in Badge. (Although it is yet to be fully implemented)

5 art-contest-winner badges will be assigned to the winners of this voting.

The link for ‘Rules for serious discussion and Ivory tower is wrong. You might want to correct it to; https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2722359.0.

Important to note that, Bitcointalk.org wasn’t a day’s job, most of the changes made resulted from ‘in-use’ challenges and from complaints from forum users. Most had to go through the polls, and some others were solutions suggested by the forum community, showing it’s a community decision. So if you’re new (or old) to the forum, you should appreciate the effort of older users and Theymos (who single handedly did the coding and Ann, except that done by Satoshi). Finally, the new software development would depend on lessons learnt here; community effort.

Doctors go on strike all the time around the world. A simple web search can prove this.
Had to go on strike twice in the last decade here. It’s common in most developing countries.

That's why I think we should think about our health because being healthy is expensive.

Being healthy might be ‘expensive’, being ill is expensive. You just have to choose your expensive. Most terminal disease can be prevented by healthy lifestyles, which might seem strenuous but it becomes your lifestyle in the long run.

but not much is talked about low blood pressure and sudden cardiac arrest and things like weight gain due to water retention due to a duff heart.

I wasn’t able to talk about all. Low bp is usually associated with drugs and drug misuse and already know medical conditions, as well as pregnancy. Pregnant moms are advised to check their bp regularly which is a part of antenatal.

IT pros are everywhere on Bitcointalk. But there’re dedicated boards for helps.
I’ll suggest you post this on beginners and help board. That’s where you get pros visiting regularly and would most probably find a lot more help.

I'd love to see a badge for 'official' accounts, similar to verified Twitter accounts.

When you talk about official verified accounts on a platform where privacy is pivotal, then it’s not much of a good idea. Facebook-like platforms would welcome that idea gladly.

Health tips people need to know

You only get one body, the way you treat it today goes along way to determine your health in the long term. What if you were allowed to have just one vehicle your whole life? You'd have to take care of it, change the oil, filters, tires, decide what fuel source is best and a lot more. This might seem like the best comparison, but cars have easily replaceable parts.
These are a few health tips. I added some links so you could read more about your health.

1. Drink Water.

2. Hand washing is a life saving routine of the last century. https://globalhandwashing.org/about-handwashing/history-of-handwashing/

3. Antibiotics should be taken only when prescribed by your Doctor. They are not a magical cure for every pain in your body. Stick strictly to the dose, and completely you prescription.   Misuse of antibiotics creates an Antibiotics Resistance apocalypse. https://www.nationaljewish.org/treatment-programs/medications/medicine-safety/antibiotics-use-and-misuse

4. Being skinny doesn’t mean you’re healthy.

5. Always let the doctor know (especially when asked) about all the parts you had removed, implants and drugs you’re on.

6. It doesn’t matter how you feel now, you need some kind of exercise.

7. You kidneys and Liver naturally do all the detoxification you ever need. Except in kidney/liver failure, you don’t need to spend money on all these detox teas. https://www.webmd.com/digestive-disorders/liver-detox

8. Never Ever boil Breast milk.

9. Type 2 diabetes can be largely prevented by a healthy lifestyle. You can save your future self a lot of diabetes complications. https://www.hsph.harvard.edu/nutritionsource/disease-prevention/diabetes-prevention/preventing-diabetes-full-story/

10. Speak up! Share symptoms with your doctor. They don’t need to ask before you say.

11. Don’t give honey to children below the ages of 1. https://www.poison.org/articles/2010-jun/dont-feed-honey-to-infants

12. Do not Use Soap douching water inside your vagina. You should wash your labia (the area around your vagina) instead. Just like your eyeballs, your vagina is self-cleansing, you don’t wash your eyeballs. Washing it flushes out the good bacteria that’s supposed to be there, which automatically gets replaced by bad bacteria (yeast infection). https://www.healthline.com › healthWeb resultsHow to Clean Your Vagina and Vulva: 13 FAQs on Soaps, Scents, More - Healthline

13. Reduce Salt and Sugar intake.

14. The orifice a baby comes out and that of urine is different. It’s shocking how many people don’t know the anatomy of women. https://courses.lumenlearning.com/boundless-ap/chapter/the-female-reproductive-system/

15. Don’t postpone seeing a dermatologist , if you see any skin moles that are:
A - asymmetrical B - border (odd borders, like they're jagged or something) C - Colour (different colours) D - Diameter (grows) E - Evolve (Well, evolves)
It might be skin cancer.

16. Lifestyle Modification is the First line of treatment for most common diseases. If you knew the complications of diabetes, hypertension or most common disease, you take healthy lifestyle changes serious.

17. You often will feel normal (asymptomatic) with high blood pressure. 1/3 of people living with hypertension don’t know it. Most people find out incidentally, during check ups. Don’t wait until it gives you symptoms you totally don't want to go through. https://www.webmd.com/hypertension-high-blood-pressure/guide/hypertension-symptoms-high-blood-pressure

18. You mental heath is just as important as your physical health. Damage to one, would affect the other.

19. Teeth are considered as luxury bones and must be treated golden. Brushing your teeth twice daily would save you thousands of dollars in the future.

20. The immune system is an incredibly complex organization of cells that communicates readily to destroy anything deemed hostile within the body. The immune system explains why/how vaccines are supposed/designed to work, why allergies complications differs, and why transfusions/transplants procedures are hard to successfully pull off.

21. Allergies may fade out overtime. When exposed to a non-threatening level of an allergy for a long enough time, the body decides that it's not really a threat anymore.

22. Get Sleep. Psychosis could result from not having slept over a long period of time. A few extra hours of sleep might be the solution to a psychological disturbance.

23. There is a vestigial remnant of the uterus located in the prostate (in males). called the prostatic utricle. It is a duct that leads nowhere.  It sometimes has some remote endometrium in it which produces one drop of blood every 28 days.
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2858890/

24. Your kidneys play a huge role in health and treatment procedures. Learn to take good take of your kidneys by taking appropriate amount of water and salt. https://www.niddk.nih.gov › ...PDFWeb resultsKidney Failure: What to Expect - National Institute of Diabetes - NIH

25. You might decide to refuse all vaccines for your newborn; Hepatitis b vaccine and all others, I care less, but you see Vitamin K, don’t skip that. Babies don’t make Vitamin K which prevents bleeding. Vitamin K is made by gut bacteria flora which newborn babies don’t have.
https://kidshealth.org › parents › vit...Why Do Newborns Need a Vitamin K Shot? (for Parents) - Nemours KidsHealth

26. Feed your Newborn (especially when you can). Exclusive breastfeeding is essential for infant development and survival. https://www.who.int › elena › titlesWeb resultsExclusive breastfeeding for optimal growth, development and health of infants - WHO

27. Some things aren’t meant to go in your rectum. And when you’re rushed in ER, you don’t need to lie saying you ‘fell on it’, we know you didn’t.

These are health tips, and shouldn’t be taken as Diagnosis or treatment. ALWAYS SEE YOUR DOCTOR ABOUT YOUR HEALTH.

Yes, I’m a doctor. I’ll do well to add more tips. Please do add to the list when you can. Got some tips/inspiration from https://www.reddit.com/r/AskReddit/comments/ca3ije/doctors_of_reddit_what_is_something_that_you_wish/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf

Re: What is in mind of those, who against vaccination?
by

That'd be a choice that would be made for individual vaccines based on the history of side effects on your children.

Choices made most times by parents/Guardians who do little or no good research. It’s would have been a long solved issue (Vaccination being good or bad/when/who should be vaccinated) if these parents decide to do their job. Unfortunately, it’s a Choice that would affect someone else’s life and not the parent’s. It would be easy if kids were able to make some decisions themselves, and face the consequences that results.

I have to say that this is a classic example of what it means to ‘Be your own bank’.
I put much thoughts to it after reading your post, and remembering instances where I foolishly lost my crypto. Good to see the words you used in your topic caption, and good to see this on Beginners & Help board, because If you decide to ‘Be your own bank’, you’ve taken up a huge responsibility.
It comes with a whole lot of benefits (which is very much discussed), but it’s best people learn that there’re consequences when you fail in your responsibilities as a ‘Bank’.

Re: Suggestion for A Great Wordpress Theme

on 17/11/2019, 05:47:53 UTC
Hi everyone, we are starting a new blog in the employment and make money niche. I need ideas of great wordpress themes that'll work well for this. Something aesthetic yet simple. Thanks.

You’ve given just little or no information that could help in deciding what theme would be best. There’re other things to consider other than that it would be used for blogging. Who would be reading your blogs, what plugins would it support and you’ll like a simple IU with the most suitable options.
