[FREE] Node hosting
by
Bik_z19

Hi guys,

Looking for a new and interesting project to contribute to. So I offer hosting three nodes for an upcoming project. Nodes can be used for distributing a blockchain, downloading wallets, use as explorers, webservers, stuff like that.
I will host and monitor the nodes, maybe create some tooling if that is what you need.

So I hope I can help someone out that is starting with a new project. Just reply or PM if you are interested, and let me know how and why I should help your project!

Kind regards,

Bik

Re: Little help with staking pool

If you want to distribute the stake fairly:
Divide the stake reward you receive by the total of the coins in the pool. Then you have the stake received per coin deposited. Then each user gets: (deposited amount * stake received per coin).

Or is this too simple?

Not everyone's balance is equal so this cant be done :/

Thats why you calculate the reward per coin deposited, then you can distribute reward depending on their balance. But I think I don't understand what you mean exactly.

Maybe a faucet script for some cryptocurrency?

Automating any tasks on BTC/cryptocurrency platforms are a good practice, really Smiley

Might be able to help you out. Providing some details on the scripting language, platform it will run on and the specification of the board you would like is certainly helpful. Not only to me, but to anyone who may be interested in doing this for you.

I could do the backend customization for you, if you need that. Front-end is not my cup of tea really, so I'm not going to offer that.

Thank you all! I will bring future logo design jobs here for sure. This bounty would have gotten me nowhere if I tried to hire a company for this, so I'm really glad there is so much talent in this community. And quite frankly, this has been a lot more fun than hiring a company, and simple pay the invoice Grin

Thank you!

Congratulations! I will now inform the escrow of the winner's BTC address, so the funds can be transfered.

I don't know if this post is in line with the forum rules, as it is clearly asking for pirated software.

However, using Mailchimp or some other service is not necessary. If you have your own hosting, that is. If you got a hosting package/website of any kind I can write you a script that will send 100k+ emails a month. Given the fact that this is not limited by your hostingprovider, of course.

Thank you all so much for your entries! Here are some answers to questions/statements I found:

hello dude, still open for this contest?
please post for deadline upload
Deadline is the 9th of August, please check the OP.

snip~
well this one really good,it's like telling that i have no chance anymore to win when i compare to my own design lol
I do agree that there are some very good entries. However, submitting your idea will be worth it as the client will decide the winner. So it's really up to their personal preference, over any logo quality & proper design (don't really know how this translates to English, hope you get the idea Wink).

Thank you for all the entries, some real nice ones have already been submitted! Smiley

The decision to extend the timespan by a week, however, still stands. Primarily because I want to give the people that won't work without an escrow a fair shot at the loot as well!

This logo design copetition is interesting but in only one day it's to hot to do a good logo and we haven't got the site of your client (we have a little description but it's not very precise).
So I'm going to do something but certainly that will not be incredible.  Grin

I know, updated the timespan by a week. Clients site is not up, as the logo will be a major inspiration for it (colors, fonts etc.). The client also wants to use the logo on letterheads and mailings, so nothing is set yet Wink

IMPORTANT UPDATE:Due to the fact that I cannot get the escrow in place before competition end, and the fact that a lot of people will only compete with a proper escrow in place, I will extend the competition until the 9th of August (1 week). This will be the first and last extension of the time span.

just curious the text on the logo is just "ARK" or have any additional?,it's seems a bit odd but yeah i'll put my effort into it,i just hope the contest will end on 2nd august at 23:00 PM so i can spare my time

The company does have some sort of a 'subtitle' which is: Mentorschap & Beschermingsbewind.

Good question, will add this to the information.

Re: How to make bitcoin faucet?

Bik_z19
on 31/07/2016, 18:59:13 UTC
FaucetBox has an out-of-the-box faucet that's easy to install and customize the design / ad slots / etc...
You can specify award amounts and how often users can claim.

well, faucetbox is obviously the most famous and trusted faucet script and also working well since the beginning. but the problem is faucet box is not really safe. bots can easily attack on faucetbox faucets and can steal all money.
the captcha services supported by faucetbox are not really stronge to keep the faucet safe.
faucetbox just need to improve its security. and rest are just fine. the good thing is it is free to use.

The issue with security is something the owner of the faucet must worry about, and implement several ways to try to avoid bot attack, but usually the bot always prevails agains the lack of security around captcha service, if they get a better service for sure faucetbox will be the best and always the best.

Can vouch for this. Did some work some someone that was being botted to death on his faucet. Turns out the security of said script was just not good enough to avoid bots working around the captcha system.

Hi. First entry here. Let me know what do you think.

I like it, thank you! It's a bit granular for my taste tho, could you sharpen it up a bit?
