I am glad to see some momentum with SweepStake. With the new dev/team taking over this project, I am sure this will bring in some positive change to it's investors. Not sure if removing the TOR functionality was a good idea however if that's what it takes to make it a success then why not. The price is still cheap and one can really make some good money out of it when this kicks off.
Will pool in some money for this new gem for sure.

I think TOR was causing issues with the sweepstake feature and forking the chain in the early days, there have been no issues since
sweepstake was disabled. Would be nice to see it re-enabled soon.

Pallas, if I send coins to the coinbase address then the coinbase balance increases and the reward for the block increases?
Nobody ever tried it, but I think it would work as you are suggesting.
Yes, it's a side effect of the coinbase account I never though of :-)
It may be considered a feature by itself, and we could even play a bit of marketing on it...
Could you ask btc38 to send any of those "excess" coins to the coinbase account to keep them off market?

We provided the exchanges with the offending addresses. What they do I don't know nor can force them to do anything.
Could a burn address be created and get the exchanges to send locked coins to it?
This address is still showing astronomical amounts of coins???

That's btc38 address. We can't block it because it contains funds of honest users as well.
Not block it, get them to send the known "fake / stolen " coins to a know burn address and take them out of circulation.

Don't use the blockchain snapshot, just do a fresh install and wait will sync ok.

I have requested listing on coinmarketcap a few times. Last time after the new block explorer went online, unfortunately
the website went offline around the same time. They have updated their requirements now and new coins need to have 10000 USD
equilavent daily volume so we'll have to wait a while for that! Unless chrysophylax has some inside track?

If anyone wants to be involved in building a Pool for XCN, these are two systems I am working with. The link are to the file repositories.
MPOS - https://github.com/MPOS/php-mpos
NOMP - https://github.com/zone117x/node-open-mining-portal
MPOS - is the front end, the web graphical interface, which I believe I have it figured out. MPOS also has a Stratum for python, but I am giving NOMP, the NodeJS a try.
NOMP - is the mining backend and I expect to be a pain to integrate.

For MPOS, the following modifications were needed:
- In the \include\lib\ folder, the file global.inc.php (the original is global.inc.dist.php, but gets copies and renamed to global.inc.php during the install process);
--- Line 38 for the algorithm is changed from "scrypt" to "m7".
--- Lines 93 to 96 are changed to reflect the coin name, url's and ports used.
--- Line 142 to change to XCN
- Create a file in the \include\classes\coins folder, named as coin_n7.class.php
--- The file I have it coded as:
- May need to modify line 82 in include\autoloader.inc.php, from scrypt to m7:
- Need to create a file in the includes\lib\ folder named, m7.php.
This file appears to have the algorithm process.
NOMP
The following files look like they need modifications or needed:
- Create a coin file in \coins folder, named as cryptonite.json
--- Need to figure out the values in that file
- Modify the file, package.json located in the root of nomp, to add in "m7" in the keywords section (starting at line 5).

1GH ran a pool, I mined on it for months solid, possibly years! no issues.

unfortunately the record of the previous position of the sweepstake seems the reason for many forks. So before we find definitely where the problem is, we can't restore the sweepstake. It's better to have a stable blockchain.
Fair enough but the coin is called Sweepstakecoin not stable blockchain coin,
, maybe some indication asto when you hope to have the issues rectified might help things along.
I have resubmitted coinmarket cap listing since block explorer seems to be "stable" and requested coinhills listing too but their process seems very vague.
Considering the buoyancy in markets at present a little TLC might go a long way with sweep, plenty of Chinese gamblers out there with mining rigs!
