That's very good news!

The more companies start accepting and integrating bitcoin to there system the more popular it will become.

Re: Would you give bitcoin as a wedding gift?
by

Depends on the happy couple, if they don't use bitcoins, it's useless giving them bitcoins.

Like giving a car, to someone who doesn't know or want to drive.

China has a big influence on bitcoin, next time they decide to sneeze, there will be another significant drop in bitcoin's value.

Luckily the effects never last for too long Smiley

You are the only one who can answer that question, if you're confident with your own abilities and have saved up enough money/bitcoin to live off in case of a bad couple of months, than go for it.

It depends what you're aiming to do with your bitcoins, if you're storing them for future use, I suggest you move them to a safer wallet.

But if you intentions is to use them one way or another, no harm will be done if you keep them there for a little while.

Rich or poor bitcoin is for everyone, so I guess everyone would see a benefit to invest in bitcoin whatever there financial status is.

Strictly speaking yes you should, I imagine in the future there will be stricter rules and recognition regarding bitcoin and exchanges so the governments don't miss out on extra tax money.

There will always be critics, especially when something is so successful.

There might be some benefits from the criticism which might be taken on hand and maybe improve the block chain.

Is there really any such thing which is a guaranteed investment? There is no such thing.

Anyone trying to sell that is misleading you big time.

Re: Will Bitcoin overcome Paypal?
by
Bilbo Baggins
on 19/09/2017, 14:21:58 UTC
Before answering that question, can someone please tell me whether it is right to compare Bitcoin with Paypal? Because Bitcoin is a currency, while PayPal is a payment gateway which uses other fiat currencies. In an ideal case, we must be comparing PayPal with services such as BitPay.

They are not the same thing, it's like comparing a car with a horse, they might have the both can be used for transportation but they aren't really the same thing are they?

Same thing with bitcoin and paypal, both can be used to transfer money, but they are really the same thing in how they are used.

I can see in the future paypal accepting bitcoin as a currency and working hand in hand with it in the future.

It doesn't matter what China does, it might effect the value for a short while but it will rise once again, like it always does.

Why are people surprised about what he said? of course he's going to say something like that.

Wouldn't you say the same thing if a better product was launched that would effect your own business.

Re: Bitcoin banned in China. Did it affect the price?

Bitcoin isn't banned in China, There has to be a distinction between ICO, exchanges and bitcoin, which most newbies are finding hard to do.

The closing down of exchanges and the new regulations in ICO, did effect the price of Bitcoin and altcoins for a while, but the market is recovering slowly.

Re: How to earn Bitcoin without investment
by
Bilbo Baggins
on 18/09/2017, 07:31:51 UTC
There's a many way to earn Bitcoins. Most successful way is joining campaign. You can start with signature campaign. But you need high quality posts for it. You have to increase your Rank to Sr.Member or above to earn better. After getting some money from campaigns, you can invest it and can earn more. The second way is trading but it requires investment.

I don't think you earn from campaigns without investments. Your time spent on making quality post is an investment and so the only way I think you can earn bitcoins without any form of investment is through faucets where you just have to wait and collect the small satoshis.

I think what he meant by investment is investing actual money, not time.

In reality if you invest your money or time, it's still an investment, just we don't appreciate the time we spend as much as we appreciate money.

I wonder...

Just out of curiosity... lately a lot of threads and posts have popped up about what is happening to bitcoins and altcoins, and what one should do and not to do.

My question is, how much of these replies are an educated guesses? and how much of them are just wishful thinking and speculations?

I already have an idea of what most answers are, just wondering what people think.

Bitcoin will survive, it might take a while to get back to the value it had earlier this month, but sooner or later it will bounce back.

A lot of uncertainties and rumors going around this week, hopefully next week will bring out some good news, and the value of bitcoin will increase.

No need to panic just yet, it's value is still higher than it was a couple of months ago Smiley
