Re: Reason why other ban cryptocurrencies
by
Bionicgalaxy
on 16/09/2018, 20:18:09 UTC
The main reason for prohibitions is very simple. Transfers in a currency different from the national one, lead to poor economic performance, including GDP (one of the main indicators). This way, it is easier to launder money or transfer funds outside the country. Neither banks nor payment processors will get their interest.
McCall Robinson a manager of Merchant Accounts, believes that most countries prohibit Bitcoin because it cannot be regulated and he said that. "Many governments do not like the very idea that there is another form of currency that they are not able to control. The supervision takes place on the Internet. Some countries consider it as danger to their society and government.
The reason why other countries banned cryptocurrencies because they think it is only been used to trick people to invest their money in cryptocurrencies or scam people, but it is not true. Hoping that scammers wil be removed and banned in the world of cryptocurrency for it will be accepted in every country.

Re: Does convince people to enjoy gambling is a wrong idea?
by
Bionicgalaxy
on 16/09/2018, 19:47:44 UTC
I always have a mindset that gambling is fun and entertaining, I used to played for profit but now I played for entertained myself, I like to share my point of view about gambling, but I afraid when I introduce gambling to someone who cant control himself or herself then it can become a problem, and I can become the one that make him/her become addicted

So in one my hand I'd like people to enjoy gambling but in one hand I afraid it can turned into disaster and I could the person that cause the person become addicted, so I kind of confused when someone come and asked me to teach or explained thing about gambling, should I teach them or I just ignore them? How can I teach or convince them that gambling is only for fun? Is it a wrong idea to teach or convince them to gamble for fun?
I think it is not a good idea if you only convinced your friend to gamble just to earn money in gambling, but if you are convincing your friend to gamble if it is really for entertainment or for fun as long that both of you can control yourself from playing too long.

Re: Why not play games online instead of gambling?
by

on 16/09/2018, 19:44:52 UTC
Many but not all gamblers are claiming they gamble for fun and pass time. I was just thinking. If it is the reason why people gamble then why not play online games? There is a lot of good and challenging onlne games wherein you can interact with other people online?
Its true entertainment is not the main reason why gamblers playing gambling because if pass time is the reason why won't they just play online games in their phones or computers. I think because people who lole to play gambling are experiencing greed when it comes to money that they became addicted.

Re: Are you sure the market will come back at end this year?
by
Bionicgalaxy
on 16/09/2018, 19:36:38 UTC
Almost everyone talking BULL will come back at end this year like last year.

I hope so, because me and everyone here diving under the sea for 9 months and still don't see light the Sun.

Last year, bitcoin has increased from the beginning of the year to the end of the year...And this year is quite the opposite.

Or maybe We have been waiting so long... so that we are delusional to something that is not real.

Hoping that the market will recover all of its value at the end of this year because many people are complaining about their holdings today. Many people are also struggling in their holdings because it continues to decrease.

Re: Worried about Crypto currency future

What do you thing, where crypto currency is going? Do you think this is end of crypto?
I believe that i am not the only one who are worried about the future of cryptocurrency because everything in the market is very low, that is why everyone is waiting and hoping for all of their holdings to have a high price. I believe that this not the end of crypto because it will still live as long their are people who are using and investing it.

Re: Why do you think the market is down right now?
by
Bionicgalaxy
on 16/09/2018, 19:12:11 UTC
is it all that is going on with regulations?

Big whales just waiting?

People do not believe in crypto anymore?

is it trouble in some countries in ASIA with laws and regulations?
I think the market is going down right now because a lot of countries are banning cryptocurrency and there are a lot of false saying that cryptocurrency is just a scheme to trick people to invest their money, which is not true. That is why we are losing a lot of investors.

Re: What will happen if the all countries convert to cryptocurrency?
by
Bionicgalaxy
on 16/09/2018, 19:04:20 UTC
Now that more and more countries are starting to go cashless (http://www.bbc.com/capital/story/20180427-does-a-cashless-society-benefit-everyone), is it possible that we also start converting to cryptocurrency? If that happens, what do you think are the advantages and disadvantages? Paying virtually is very convenient for me as I do not have to bring cash and it prevents petty theft but what is the disadvantage?

If all countries are converted to cryptocurrency for sure every transaction will be on blockchain technology or simply it will be digitalized. The advantage of it every transaction will be fast that you don't need to fall in line in shopping malls, but the disadvantage of it is it will be easier for hackers to steal all of your money.

Re: Why spend time in bitcoins?
by

on 16/09/2018, 18:55:57 UTC
We all experience being financially challenged and we cannot deny that money makes us revolve around it. When we find ways to alleviate our financial suffering, we stand our ground and spend so much effort just to see the result and of course, benefit from it. Do you think that spending time and effort to gain bitcoins is a rational idea? Do you think that you could've been wasting your time? Let me know about your thoughts.
Spending time in bitcoin helps me to lessen my financial problem in life that is why i am really thankful that i met bitcoin because it helps me to serve my basic needs. I do not believe that i am wasting time in bitcoin because i am earning to it no matter what.

Re: Please, we should not totally eliminate fiat currency
by

on 16/09/2018, 18:51:29 UTC
From what I have seen so far in this forum and other crypto platforms, most of us want fiat eliminated. But let us not forget that there are still situations whereby we can't use crypto except fiat like in rural places without computers or even internet facilities.
Don't you worry it will take a long time before everyone will used cryptocurrency and will eliminate fiat currency because most countries are supporting fiat currency rather than cryptocurrency, that is why it is imposible for fiat currency will be eliminated.

Re: Is wallet security important to use?
by
Bionicgalaxy
on 16/09/2018, 18:32:16 UTC
I once read for security wallet,
this is just for discussion how to secure the wallet. I do not think there is a security system and there will be no theft in the wallet.

If you choose your wallet or phone software, you need to be extra careful! Remember that bitcoins are stored inside your device. If your computer or phone breaks down, your bitcoin is gone too! Thieves can also take your bitcoin if it gets access. Consider the following tips to avoid losses:

Perform regular backups regularly
Save the backup on another device like in flash or another computer.
Use the encryption feature
With encryption, each transaction requires a login with a password. This prevents thieves who manage to gain access to your computer.
Do not forget the password
Losing a password equals losing your money! Wallet does not provide a password forgot feature.
Learn more please learn how to secure your wallet here: http://bitcoin.org/en/secure-your-wallet

Do you guys have a better idea to avoid theft in the wallet?
Your Knowledge and Ideas will be more helpful if shared.
Yes. Wallet security is really important to use because you will lose all of your crypto if you do not take care it. Hackers will definitely steal all of it, that is why you should avoid things that hackers could track you like visiting untrusted websites and always showing your wallet to untrusted person.

Re: How was your experience in joining bounty or airdrop?

on 19/08/2018, 18:01:50 UTC
Hey everyone!

I am very new to joining airdrops. I just wanna know if you had experience joining into some ICOs but did not receive your expected tokens? Or what was your first tokens that you received?

My first received token was very rewarding experience, still counting other and tracking my airdrops atm.

Can you share some of your experiences about this matter?

thank you!
My first time in bounty campaigns is great because here i started to earn my first cryptocurrency and a huge profit. But for now, i didn't get any good profit from bounty campaigns because some of them are unsuccessful or do not reach the softcap and scams.

Re: Can any ALTCOIN ever overtake Bitcoin ?
by
Bionicgalaxy
on 19/08/2018, 17:57:55 UTC
It's almost 8 months of 2018 and we have not seen any reasonable hikes for the altcoins,
It was only Ethereum that hit a good value of almost 1.4k$ in the beginning of the year . Since then it's pretty dull.

Forget overtaking can any ALTCOIN ever reach a value near Bitcoin.
In my personal opinion, i believe altcoin would never overtake or reach bitcoin because it is the first cryptocurrency that was created and it has more value than any altcoin. But i think the altcoin that could reach bitcoin is ethereum because many investors would like to hold ethereum nowadays.

Well? Let's hear it.

In my own personal opinion, i would pick bitcoin of course because it is more valuable and it is worth to hold than litecoin. Even bitcoin drops its price i will still pick bitcoin because it is the top coin in the market.

by

We all know this year is one of the worst year of crypto, market is dead and new investors are in fear to enter,  My portfolio is 75% down as compare to January. How long this market will take time to recover?. I am stacked in holding.
Maybe it will take a long time because a lot of coins has a low price and it is really unpredictable when will it take to recover all of its price. Hoping that it will recover soon, so i could have earn a huge profit from my holdings just like last year.

Re: Crypto replacing fiat?
by
Bionicgalaxy
on 19/08/2018, 17:34:08 UTC
Lets say crypto completely and utterly replaced fiat. Fiats don't exist anymore. All governments have seen the advantage of using digital currency and have completely changed their fiat into crypto, like dollar to dollar token(obviously not tether). How viable is this? For example anyone can see how much I am holding using the public ledger and track me down and force me into sending them the cryptos I hold. I wanna discuss in reality if cryptos actually replace fiat how life will be and what are the problems we are gonna face and the immediate effects of it.
It is imposible for cryptocurrency to replace fiat because it is still not legalized by other countries and for now cryptocurrencies has a low price in the market. It will take a long time for cryptocurrency be replacing fiat because for now not everyone are using and investing in cryptocurrency.

hey all, new to this forum, was wondering which alts do people think will survive? Which ones will gain traction when this crypto winter ends? Which ones have a use that will be taken up by the mainstream? Thanks
I think the altcoin that will survive is ethereum because many investors would like to hold ethereum rather than any altcoin and it has more potential that it will have a good value like bitcoin in the near future.

Re: How to cope up with the falling prices?
by
Bionicgalaxy
on 18/08/2018, 16:50:12 UTC
There are just couple of question I need some answering from people with enough experience in crypto.

Any particular tips on when to invest token when the prices are low?
And how can one manage to hold the tokens even the prices are bleeding?
Is there a specific time where one can pinpoint the best way to accumulate tokens?

Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
To cope falling prices in the market you need to wait for all your holdings to increase, even the prices of your holdings is bleeding. You always need to stay calm and have the patience to hold all of tokens until the prices increase.

by

on 18/08/2018, 15:57:13 UTC
hello member of the bitcoin forum, Smiley
I'm confused and looking for answers about how to help people who are having economic problems,

are there any of us in this forum who have a good heart to help the economy of fellow human beings,

can opening new jobs reduce unemployment and improve the economy?
Let's face the reality, people who are really poor do not have a chance to have a successful life because there are no such people who will employed a person who is not that good in working. But if you have the ability to teach them and change them maybe you can reduce unemployed people in a country.

Re: What is better in poker: bluffing or playing only with good cards?
by
Bionicgalaxy
on 18/08/2018, 15:52:08 UTC
I've been watching some poker tournaments with Antonius, Negreanu and Cates lately. Most of the time the person with better combination actually wins, but there occur some great bluffs from time to time as well. Do you think it is better to fold if you don't have at least one high card in a pair or two cards of the same suit? Is it worth to try out overbetting tricks when you really have shitty cards? When I tried playing poker, overbetting usually made me fold, because it is a hard psychological attack for me and I am not the kind of a person that is willing to risk a lot. But I am bad at poker. What is your opinion on this matter?
In my own personal opinion, it is better in playing poler if you are good in bluffing your opponents than having a good cards because even you don't have a good card you can pretend that you have a good card for you to win in the game.
