Top 3 Bitcoin security and safety tips
by
Bit talk
on 25/06/2018, 20:24:48 UTC
1. Separate your bitcoins to hot and cold wallets
Online wallets are called “hot wallets”, since they are at high risk to network based attacks. If you are running any kind of Bitcoin online business, offline (‘cold’) wallets will be a better tool. They are way safer and they are not so attractive for hackers. It would be ideal to keep the bulk of your Bitcoin funds on the cold wallet. And for your day to day Bitcoin transactions keep just a small float of your Bitcoins on your online wallet.
2. Store private keys offline
In order to enhance the security of your Bitcoin wallet, remove its private keys and then store them somewhere, perhaps, in a separate computer which is not connected to the Internet. To make a payment generate the transaction on the online computer, bring it to the offline computer (on a USB stick) for signing with the private key, and then bring it back to the online computer to complete the transaction. This way, you can be sure that it will not be compromised by hacker or malware attacks.
3. Use fragmented backups
Even though you only need to make one backup of your seed ever, it is still sensible to make multiple copies of this backup and store them at different locations. If you are concerned about the physical security of your backup, make a fragmented backup. This splits the seed into, say, six fragments, with any four needed to recreate the seed. You can then store each fragment in a different location; to get access to your wallet, a thief would have to access four of the six fragments.

Choosing a suitable level for the Stop Loss
by
Bit talk
on 25/06/2018, 20:19:10 UTC
>>>A wise trader puts his stop at a level where he has to assume that the trend is going to be broken, according to what the indicators tell him is possible or probable. Usually, this would be a broken trendline in the time frame he’s trading in, or a support level which gets broken.

>>>It’s also important not to set the stop loss too tight, as the current volatility could execute it without reason. A price has to have the opportunity to move around the entry within a certain range. It is common for this to be at least as far as 1.5 times the current high-to-low range.

>>>This will often be right, but sometimes not. Price can move back over the trendline unexpectedly and go on within the trend, but more often it won’t. Especially not immediately. When having been stopped out, you always have the opportunity to go back in. But in a case where price movement keeps reversing, the smart trader’s capital has been saved.

Bitcoin hits lowest in 2018

Bitcoin hits lowest in 2018; falls below $6,000: Here’s what you should know
Bitcoin crashed to a low of $5,787 on Sunday afternoon, mildly recovering to $6,131 on Monday morning.

Bitcoin crashed to a low of ,787 on Sunday afternoon.
Post-October last year, Bitcoin rallied in a way that shocked the world. From the modest $4,000 price, Bitcoin surged past $19,000 in just two months. But soon, the fall began and now the most popular cryptocurrency has fallen to below $6,000, lowest in 2018. Bitcoin crashed to a low of $5,787 on Sunday afternoon, mildly recovering to $6,131 on Monday morning. There could be many reasons for the fall in Bitcoin — tax selloffs, higher regulations or ban in many countries, multiple hackings et all.

All that apart, the Federal Reserve of San Fransico last month said that the Bitcoin crash could be attributed to Bitcoin Futures. “The rapid run-up and subsequent fall in the price after the introduction of futures does not appear to be a coincidence,” the report ‘How Futures Trading Changed Bitcoin Prices’ said.
Founded by an unknown person or a group of persons Satoshi Nakamoto in 2009, Bitcoin remained within $4000 until mid-2017, when it increased exponentially for about 10 months. “This explosive growth ended on December 17, 2017, when bitcoin reached its peak price of $19,511. Notably, these dynamics aren’t driven by overall market fluctuations,” the report said.
However, crypto traders have not abandoned the idea yet. “This is not the funeral for bitcoin whatsoever,” Brian Kelly, founder and CEO of BKCM LLC, an investment firm focused on digital currencies told CNBC. He added that as compared to last year’s price of $2, 500, Bitcoin is still at a higher level.

Bitcoin is a type of cryptocurrency, a digital currency which uses encryption techniques to regulate the generation of units of currency and verify the transfer of funds. It is like the money, with no physical presence but a series of codes. Bitcoin is traded on exchanges using the blockchain technology. The blockchain is a digital and public ledger through which transactions made in digital currencies are recorded chronologically and publicly.

BTC update

🚨BTC UPDATE!🚨

Conclusion: If BTC will hold 5900$ support, we can expect nice bounced back soon,
also RSI is very oversold so it can happened every moment,
from second way, if too many people start
opening long positions with leverage, whales may push BTC down again so that the stock exchanges do not lose large amounts of money. I do not expecting more decrease than 5000-5400$ zone which is strong support for BTC. Do not lose your patience! I’m pretty sure that good days will come for crypto.
it many times but i will do that again, we are here on long term, not for short.

What is the correlation between Bitcoin and altcoins price movements?
by
Bit talk
on 23/06/2018, 12:25:24 UTC
🔥Tip Based on G-20 positive sentiment seems like most alts reached the rock bottom and might start growing from here following BTC.

What is the correlation between Bitcoin and altcoins price movements?

Usually it goes like this:
1. BTC goes up slowly or sideways => ALT coins grow fast. It happens because hungry traders are not satisfied with a slow BTC growth and start to buy alts.

2. BTC goes to the moon quickly => ALTS go down or sideways. It happens because people quickly sell off the alts in the fear of missing out the bitcoin profit train.

3. BTC goes down => ALTS crash and get into heavy drawdowns. The liquidity of alt coins is always poor so any bad news of the market as a whole hit them first and hit them hard. They recover much faster though as well. Like we just saw RIPPLE collapsed 70% then gain 63% back next day!

12 essential trading rules, based on our own experience

>>>Before buying any asset always answer to the question: “Why do I want to invest in this coin?”

>>>The market is cyclical. There is always the correction following the growth and the growth following the correction. The growth never lasts forever!

>>>Always use stop losses. If you can’t set it because of take-profit order, enable notifications to stay informed about changes of the rates. If the price fell down to the minimal level you can afford – sell it with no hesitating.

>>>Don’t be afraid of making mistakes, but avoid making the same mistake twice.

>>>Don’t buy on peak. The drastic surge of the rate doesn’t mean, that the growth will continue.

>>>Don’t allow your emotions to overtake you. Successful trading is always based on cold premeditation, risk management and careful analytics. For the adrenaline you can go to casino.

>>>Search for your own trading strategies. Learn on your gains and mistakes, track your actions with the help of trading journal.

>>> Trade on different exchanges. Don’t keep all of your assets in one place!

>>>Be extremely careful with private keys. Pay attention to phishing web-sites and malware.

>>>Never count the profit you’ve missed. It’s better to fix small gains, than to lose everything because of the greed.

>>>Hold minimum 30% of your assets in bitcoin.

>>>Don’t trade when you are tired or emotionally down.
