hi guys,do you have a very suitable idea to complete your btc fast.fauceting is a very long way to go.gambling is no choice.you more often lose all your money in that.lets come and share your secrets of earning btc fast Kiss

To earn bitcoin very fastly is not an easy job, you need to have lot of patience there are many places that you can earn free bitcoin, but it will little bit time to make single bitcoin, but the only fastest way is buy bitcoin and invest in trading only if you are fine with trading. To make bitcoin very fastly you need to risk with some bitcoins obviously.
You would need some capital to start trading bitcoins and its very risky if your not an experienced trader.

All investments come with risks and there isn't anything that's risk free.

Re: I am having a hard time with Bitcoin Core, and I'm thinking of firing it.

I am willing to trash it.  I see no reason to keep it, if that is what is slowing my computer down.  I have a little pixie dust in it.  Other than anyone asking me to claim an address I used once in this forum, is there any consequence to getting rid of it?
If you backup your private keys properly before removing Bitcoin Core there won't be any consequences except the feeling that your no longer contributing to the bitcoin network.

Re: Why are we stuck in the $600 range for so long?

We should be grateful that we're in the 600$ range and not anywhere below that price. No matter what's the price of Bitcoin, there would always be a thread like this saying something "Why are we stuck in the xxx$ range?". Threads like this doesn't help at all. The basic reason why there isn't any major pump lately is because there's not much people buying Bitcoins. Thus, if you want to change that range, then go ahead and look for rich people in real life who might be interested in investing in Bitcoins.
There would always be threads like "Why are we stuck in the xxx$ range?" but "Why are we stuck in the xxx$ range for so long?" isn't always going to be there.

Most rich people I know isn't going to take advise from me until I reach their level of playing field.

Because too many people are doing nothing to promote Bitcoin to other people. We will not see a massive increase in the price from current Bitcoin hoarders, because most of them have already bought their share of the coins. I buy much smaller amounts on a monthly basis now, than what I did when I entered the scene many years ago.

Some people buy and sell during normal trading, but it is not new fiat money coming into the pool, only old money being circulated. What are you waiting for, get out there and promote Bitcoin to new people. ^smile^
New investors will enter bitcoin when they see developments in the currency.

Also there hasn't been any big developments in bitcoin after the Bitfinex hack.

Because you aren't buying enough bitcoins! How many did you buy yesterday? None? Come on man. The reason we're stuck at the $600 range is 100% because of you. That's my theory anyways.
If I were Warren Buffet or Bill Gates you can blame me.

btw, I do buy some bitcoins when I have extra cash lying around.

Why are we stuck in the $600 price range for so long?

What do you think is the reason behind this?

You can try advcash and Ecoin. They provide cards that can be loaded with bitcoins.

I have personally used them both and they do a great job.

The strange part is there was no warning so i could stop doint bad things. Also, the amount of spam was around 20-25 messages per week. One of another accounts of mine was banned for same reason but only for 7 days. Also the "7-day" banned account is Newbie, while main acc is Member.
There doesn't need to be warnings for you to stop spamming. If you took the time to read the rules you would know that spamming isn't allowed.

Also as Lutpin mentioned, You should not post anywhere except on Meta until your ban is lifted or it will be considered as ban evasion.

If the users own responses aren't sent to his email it would be harder to keep track of the conversation from his email because his messages will be missing.

IIRC, They was a service through which you could send bitcoins to an email address.

Just note that its very insecure to use such services but it might be OK for your purpose as long as you can afford to loose what you send.

I don't think there is a way to appeal a ban if its your fault.

Is your account temporarily banned or is it permanently banned?

Use the money to buy some good anti virus plans for you and your wife, get a license for hitman pro and install hitman pro alert as well and finally put your wife through cyber security training so this won't happen again.

Paying these people is not the solution, it will just keep happening to people around the world when people fall for their demands.
@OP: IMO, This is the best solution for you if the files cannot be recovered.

There is no guarantee that the hacker will help you gain access to your data after you have paid them.

Re: Ransomware and BTC

There is different reasons why they chose Bitcoin instead of credit cards . Bitcoin is irreversible (your can't chargeback) and untraceable (police won't be able to find them) , It's just a procedure hackers do to make sure they won't be caught.
As for buying Bitcoin then It  really depends where you live and the payments methods you are willing to use honestly. but there is Coinbase , Virwox.com , Circle.com and others. (check them out , they are legit services)

Are you suggesting that he gives into the demands of the hackers while there might be other means to recover his files?

The reason Ransomware viruses use bitcoin is due to the fact that its untraceable and irreversible too.
If you were able to decrypt a bit of the files it should be possible to decrypt all the files too.

I wouldn't pay them unless I had something really important on that machine and all other means to recover the files failed.

They probably got some investors to generate some trading volume on their platform, just to attract more people... I sincerely hope they get back on their feet stronger than before... keeping my fingers crossed.

I do think they got hired wealthy traders to give the volume a boost but in the end they have proven to be not very carefull with customers funds which is why I think they will not get back to their old level. Especially since all of their customers lost money.
Since all of their customers lost money with them when the hack occurred they should reimburse them if they want to gain back the trust they lost.

Re: Why very little campaign for newbie?
by

on 19/09/2016, 20:58:56 UTC
The signature campaigns don't like to open the slots for newbies because usually newbies don't know enough about the Bitcointalk rules and also they are spamming threads
Also newbie accounts are very easy to create so members of the signature campaign wouldn't really care about the quality of their posts because if they are banned they can just create a new account.

Re: Sent Bitcoins to Bitcoin Core Wallet Before Realizing Syncing Takes A Week

If you bought the bitcoins to hold them for a while I would suggest leaving Bitcoin Core to sync. You will be helping the network that way.

If you just need to spend the bitcoins moving the private keys into a lightweight client is a good option but it carries some heavy risks of exposing your private keys.

Re: How long will bitcoin survive?
by
BitAurum
on 19/09/2016, 20:47:26 UTC
I have 100% trust that Bitcoin will stay for a very long time despite people doubting it. It has emerged as a perfect solution for the current economic crunch. Relying on fiat currency alone will not help so much but with bitcoin and its technology, I hope economies will stabilize.

I will be using bitcoin to 30-40 years in the future and I also believe bitcoin can last up to 40 years at least. the development of technology is always growing rapidly and currently all the technology has always been at the forefront. so bitcoin will be great in the future with the technology of the currency which is better than anything.
30-40 years is a really long time to make speculations about.

Many changes will need to be made to the bitcoin technology to help it survive for the next 10 years.

Re: Did I do wrong or right ?
by

on 19/09/2016, 20:44:40 UTC
yes you did because selling now is a very bad idea, never sell when after a dump there is a long stagnation phase, i think it indicate a pump that is incoming, sell only after a pump is almost done, and it's hard to know yes but you can usually tell if after the dump that will happen

Yup op should not sell the bitcoins now because as per many speculations You have need to hold some bitcoins every month and put it into your wallet and you sell that after 5 or 10 years.
IMO, I would not consider that to be a wise idea.

Waiting 5 or 10 years to be able to follow your dreams/goals kills motivation.
