The BitBay devs have now restarted work on the required updates to make the web wallet compatible with the new Dynamic Peg protocol.

And after the web wallet has been updated, we'll be releasing an update for the Android app, and then... building a new iPhone app for all our patient iOS users!

The team has found an additional layer of complexity to the "split-chain" issue, and we must ask you to wait a little longer for an updated solution. We want this fix to be as easy as possible for every user, so everyone can all be on the correct chain. Please note: This issue will not effect your balance, and all coins are safe. If you are currently staking on either chain, please continue to do so; however, we recommend that you not send any transactions until the next announcement.

We are very happy to announce yet another exchange partner for the Dynamic Peg.

Chaoex.com is based in Hong Kong and was established in 2017. Serving the Chinese and Singapore markets, listing on Chaoex will help us reach a potentially huge new user base with the peg.

Like latoken, the Chaoex dev team has already started getting to know the code and while we don’t have a set launch date for these two exchanges, we anticipate the peg to be live in approx 5-6 weeks.

Hi all.

After more than 4 months of trying to have BAY listed on the OEX exchange, we have had to concede to the fact that they have stolen our listing fee and will not be listing us.

We have tried many times to get an exact date of listing and each time there has been a delay with various excuses.

Knowing we have had 3 BTC stolen which could have been spent on marketing or put towards another exchange listing is very frustrating. We will look into legal options to try and recover the fees, as long as it isn’t too expensive of course.

Please feel free to share this news on social media or other chats, and let’s help to make sure no other projects are scammed into losing money from this exchange.

Guys just to correct an important point from the last few posts, we are listing on OEX.com NOT OKex ! Although OKex would be very nice indeed, we're still happy to be listed on a top 20 exchange that should hopefully bring some more volume to BAY very soon.

We are pleased to announce that Dynamic Peg testing has started on the demo exchange.
After this first round of testing we will be opening the exchange to anyone who wants see the Dynamic Peg in action.

We are also testing v0.4 of the web marketplace this week with a view to rolling out the new features asap. This next release includes user avatars, an improved account section, and important item shipping info for the item view.
