Wtf. What a cringe wonderful and productive email you are sending...

"CMON!! CODE LIGHTINING RIGHT NOW AND GIV ME LAMBOS!!!!!"

Do you think spamming someone will make them "write code" 10x faster? You are actually making their jobs harder. Make us a favor and stop.

I don't respect the opinion of strangers.

But yet, you want strangers to get onboard your ineffective and quite honestly a counter productive email.

Re: Bitcoin going to $400
by
BitCoinKeeper
on 11/01/2018, 05:09:59 UTC
So far in my knowladge that bitcoin prices are determined by various rumours that happen. If more and more the negative rumours about bitcoin then the price will have a decrease. Otherwise if many positive rumours to bitcoin then the price will rise.

Well, which happening now is, many more the negative rumours that fall on bitcoin, like Microsoft that no longer use bitcoin as their payment tool. And CEO JP Morgan's assertion that cryptocurrency will be regulated by the government.

So, that's exactly why the bitcoin and altcoin prices are down this week. Back on your qustion, my answer is bitcoin could have dropped to $400 if negative rumours arrive against bitcoin. And otherwise bitcoin prices will rise if positive rumours arrive at bitcoin.

It never hurts to keep up with current events, or at least attemp to be informed.

The FUD is strong in this thread. Not one bit of truth to this. In order for crypto to fall to the level the scare mongers in this thread allude to every exchange would have to buckle, Core would have to have been breached and that is simply has not happened. Yes, a couple exchanged were raided for not paying their taxes, and some were arrested. This is FUD ....nothing more.

Re: All crypto currency down :P
by

This might be the reason. Just CMC stuff...

Quote
Few hours ago Coin Market Cap removed Korean exchanges from their coin price calculations and being that all coins are about 30% pricier over there, it instantly tanked the price on CMC graphs. From what I see this is happening now :

  • CMC removed Korean exchanges
  • Prices/graphs instantly tanked (but in practice not relevant to people outside Korea who dont trade there anyhow)
  • Large number of people did not recognize what actually happened and that there were not moves/selling on their western exchanges
  • Those same people are now dumping large amount of coins trying to "cut loses" because of the false impression that coin is crashing.
  • Random stuff happening

https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/7oxivj/cmc_just_tumbled_the_whole_market_with_one_move/

If people run their trade bots with CMC data, this might cause a massive panic sell by the bots in all currencies...

This is exactly what caused todays sell off, CMC removed the Korean exchanges .. Nothing to be alarmed with continue to hold. We knew this was likely to happen a couple months ago when the Korean's announced a crackdown on bitcoin. It will rebound to an all time high.

Re: Best Bitcoin Credit Card
by

For small purchases like traveling in a vehicle, I would recommend the Shift Card the only down side I have with the card is there is a max of $200.00 daily cash from ATM machines, and a max total daily of $1000.00.

But the card i very reasonable in charges $2.50 ATM and $2.50 goes to Shift Card.

I really dont like the BitPay card as it is a load card...Say you want to purchase $2500.00, Simply move your bitcoin to your card and you have the amount you need, problem is once you load the card you cant move the unspent funds back onto your bitcoin wallet. Plus BitPay has multiple hidden charges.

Re: 2017 Was Bitcoin's Year. 2018 Will Be .......
by

on 29/12/2017, 11:47:08 UTC
I hope this kind of agony to the traders of Bitcoin will stop although we can't deny the fact that Bitcoin price is very high since the day it was started but the only problem here is the delays and high transaction fees. Does ethereum never encountered such events like this?

If Lightning Network will be released i wonder how it will went through this year, everyone is making their own move to make a change to this unstoppable agony.

From what I have heard, Matt Colarllo thinks that we may see the lightning network by the end of 2018, so there is going to be another entire year of complains and cries about the fees going up, this is going to make the drama even worse when it comes to the BCash scam getting more traction. A lot of people are going to lsoe their BTC because the idiots think that there are any other altcoin that solves the problem when none does.

If Coinbase, Xapo, Bitpay and the rest of the big payment processors that are the big chunk of the transactions get segwit, fees would go down to cents again, but they are part of the BCash scam.

I concur exactly, I was also shocked that Coinbase took the steps it took on BCH when just before the August fork they said they would not support the coin then held the coin from August - December with out a word as to their thinking except that they would release the coins to those accounts holding BTC prior to the fork, on Jan 1, 2018 then to release them just days before Christmas. It stunk to high heaven what they did, lost a bunch of credibility.

Re: Do you think the Xmas and Holiday season, caused the drop in the price?
by
BitCoinKeeper
on 29/12/2017, 11:31:03 UTC
So it is the Holiday season and it was Xmas. How many people dived into their Bitcoin hoard to buy Xmas gifts and also paid for a nice holiday with their family?

We saw a huge increase in the price, early in the season and this might have triggered a situation where people rewarded themselves with some "Gifts" for the holiday season.

The direct impact of that would have been a higher influx of coins onto the exchanges and if that was not met with a higher demand for coins, then it would explain the drop in the price.

Did you splash out with some expensive gifts and extravagant holidays with your bitcoins, during the holiday season?

I do believe some of the selling did drop the price, and with that drop it did create some panic selling among some of the unsteady hands during the holiday, as someone stated earlier in this post it takes or would take a lot of panic selling and a lot of unsteady hands to bring down the price. Im quite sure of that took place, but we have all seen this type of activity before and we will see it again. But Im not selling period, hence my user name I wont sell a single satoshi  until all financial hell breaks out in my particular situation, or until the price drops down to where I am on the edge of an abyss of loosing from where I stepped into this great opportunity. We are a long way from that happening. No I am holding for the long run, I have steady hands.

Re: Dogecoin is the new Bitcoin
by
BitCoinKeeper
on 25/12/2017, 19:46:48 UTC
Guys I think that Dogecoin really is the new Bitcoin.
Think about it.
- meme proof
- high supply
- low fees
- capable devs
- stability, no political power struggle
- huge fanbase, reallife usecase
- community
- big wow, very profit, much coin -> solid branding

So Dogecoin will become the biggest crypto within a year or so.
Otherwise Loomdart will refund.

Dogecoin has been around for ages, while similar to bitcoin in a lot of ways it's not nearly as useful as bitcoin and is nothing more than a joke currency. It will never amount to much, the huge supply will always limit that as well as the overall sentiment in the community.

Why yes, I believe it went up ....

Perhaps, but I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt as he didn't mention BCH, it seems that is the preponderance of today's conversation so I'm taking him as just frustrated. Which most of the noobs seem to be. We have seen this before, it WILL pass regain its footing and continue on.

Ridiculous fees,Bottlenecked transactions,Unstable prices......BTC has cut it's own throat and is Hemorrhaging. if the Devs don't get control soon BTC will die and BCC wll take it's place. FACT

Not even close

Fees are up, due to hundreds of thousands of new customers.

Transactions are up, due to hundreds of thousand of new customers

Unstable prices, due to past 30 days of phenomenal growth in price, this is just a correction.

BCH, pumped by Roger Ver and his ilk, it will not last and soon it will return to it former position.

BTC, has been pronounced dead at last count it was up around 300 times....and counting....

Bidding Bitcoin Cash stopped after adding to Coinbase and an unusual price increase.
An update from Coinbase CEO @brian_armstrong https://t.co/bNeOAgjHBl
Just wow, price on GDAX went to the moon close to $9500

That was a glitch in gdax and you know it. Trading was stoppped as soon as they noticed the problem, I have read where only a few transactions actually were made, it is in no way an indication as to where bch is heading.

Re: what is happening for BTC?
by
BitCoinKeeper
on 21/12/2017, 22:49:08 UTC
Bitcoin's recent price dump is the trending topic in Crypto World right now.. Why did the price dump?? Will it increase in nearest future??? Or it will keep dumping???
Ok here is the first Reason :
The increased price of bitcoin was not even worth it. It was just jumping without any reason. And the recent price jumping was just like a madness but nothing. In just 1 month it increased by 109.36 %.. can you expect that?? I think the market craze went down. that is why the price is dumping..

Reason 2: I think the price is dumping because of its altcoin BCH.. Current BCH price pumping making peoples invest in bch inspite of btc.. people are thinking they will get more profit in bch. than btc. that is why they are starting to sell bitcoin. and starting to invest in bitcoin cash. That's why for the first time A cryptocoin is shaking the kingdom... which is BCH.
Ok. the real question.. Will the price go up again?? Or it'll go down and down???What's going to happen to Bitcoin??what
I believe that it will eventually increase. Maybe it is just because of the season. Christmas is approaching and this is the time where people are in need of money to buy the things that they want for their loved ones. So probably it is the reason why people are selling their Bitcoin which makes the demand low and the transactions high. Just Hold and patiently wait.

Well said...

Re: STOP Mining Bitcoin - It's DEAD
by
BitCoinKeeper
on 21/12/2017, 22:37:21 UTC
Curious what you Guys think,

A number of currencies seem to have accelerated their developments recently, and it became apparent that they are much more usable than Bitcoin.

Of course, Bitcoin still stands as the most "hack-proof" network, with the largest community, however arguably, that's about it.

I've seen some BTC miners waking up recently, since due to price increase, it became profitable again to actually mine Bitcoin.

I am wondering, once genuinely another crypto wins over the market acceptance when it comes to payments, what are the realistic chances of Bitcoin staying above $15,000, maintaining Bitcoin's mining profitability?

I am about to order 10 x S9 antiminers for Bitcoin, and looking at things from the pragmatic point of view, I am debating as to whether it's better to get GPU mining mashines for AltCoins or S9s ..

appreciate the comments,
Arthurzee

Once again Bitcoin declared as dead....lol

Bitcoin has died 217 times

From BitcoinObituaries.com | Bitcoin Declared Dead 140+ Times and Counting
https://99bitcoins.com/bitcoinobituaries/

I know this better than you, much probably.
And yet, I feel this is the right time, because all the other times anyone has written a Bitcoin obituary, it was for stupid reasons.
Here we have a network that is completely unusable = the technology is dead.
Switch to Byteball.

OP...I am so tired of of all the hate, and yes you are peddling hate. It is the holiday season and I’m quite sure there are millions of transactions just like yours out there have you ever considered the fact that the reason for the absorbantly high fee is due to people spending 0.00032 bitcoin at Walmart, and that the system is simply overloaded with hundreds of thousands of newbs, and with hundreds of thousands of newbs spending small amounts for a soda, are what has run up the cost of sending coin. Perhaps this is just a way for your vendor to slow the pace of transactions. Bitcoin is not dead, however newbs think bitcoin and their new wallets are like atm machines.

I think this is the effect of information that the co-founder of bitcoin.com-Mr Emil Oldenburg, who has sold all his bitcoin, stated that bitcoin is a worthless asset and invested his money in BCH.

It was FUD, from Emil who put all his money in BCH his attemp to devalue BTC.

Re: wihch crypto should i buy?
by
BitCoinKeeper
on 20/12/2017, 01:03:05 UTC
which is good crypto for buy, right now?

None of them. Not just like that.
The first rules are: "don't invest money you don't afford to lose" and "don't ask for investment advises from random people over the internet".
There are a lot of coins around here. Most are scam or bad projects. Some are good or even great projects. Do your own research, carefully, then invest. This way you are the only one to blame and this way you may have less chance for failure. Ah, and diversify. If you invest in 3 coins, or 10 coins, some will fall, some will grow, if you chose right most will give you good results.
Yes, this means a lot of work. But it worth it.

^^ THIS ^^  Should be posted somewhere where it should be required reading, for anyone just starting out, the bitcoin frenzy has become parabolic as the media it seems, is just now catching on to the word Bitcoin.
Most fail to inform their audience to educate themselves prior to laying down their cold hard cash.

Re: BTC gone down today
by
BitCoinKeeper
on 20/12/2017, 00:48:49 UTC
Seems on the markets at present time BTC has come down. your thoughts on this and why you think it happened?

Do you think it will go back up? if BTC goes down way lower would it be wise to buy more into it

It should have happened some time ago, when I was expecting it  Wink The growth of Bitcoin was sick and unreal, so this decline is a logical outcome. Panic on the market, growth of Eth and BCH. Some people are talking about "The Flippening" BTC to BCH. If you ask me, Bitcoin is not dead and hardly will be.

Why is it a logical outcome? It has to go down because it went up? It's just what happens. It's going to keep going up in the long run so nothing to worry. Keep hodl.

^^ THIS ^^ Bolded, etc..

Re: Bitcoin is Falling...Is it Panic Time?
by
BitCoinKeeper
on 18/12/2017, 17:02:00 UTC
Falling is always part of winning. So you don't have to panic so past maybe you should think it as a positive way. When the price fall there are some user will panic and will sell their coin in a lower price but for us this will be the chance to buy coins with low price and wait for our turn to win. Just have patience in waiting for bitcoin price rissing again.
yeah when panic happens I think you should stay calm and think that this is an opportunity for you to gain profit by buying bitcoin at a cheap price. you should know that bitcoin prices will continue to rise. so when the price goes down do not panic because it is the right time for you to buy more bitcoin
When there is panic happening in the market the whales are all loading up and waiting for the people to start selling their coin and then they take that opportunity to accumulate and then wait for the coin to go up again. We should think just like whales so that we can ride the wave and make money with the situation.

We have all seen this time and again, hold on to what you have it will rebound and your alts will increase, I am no longer jaded by these negative movements.

Re: Bitcoin futures trading
by

on 17/12/2017, 18:43:59 UTC
If you know the trading market, you know this is going to affect negatively the bitcoin ( sell the news) and potentially a very big dump when people see the impact of futures is not so huge

I am hopefully optimistic that with the introduction of T.D.Ameritrade on Monday Dec. 18, 2017 the the Futures Market will bring big pockets, therefore increase the market share. However if it does have and adverse effect, My thinking it would only pull back to the 15 - 16k range, and knowing my product I believe a recovery will happen soon after. I could be wrong, however we all know it has recovered before.
