Yes, my solution is “plug&mine”. I’ve made a prototype so far. I’m finalizing engineering. I’m still having a doubt  should The CoolTank be of 6/12 or 10/20 units capacity…

What do you think about size?

In January 2022 I will produce first sample to demonstrate in show room in Dubai. After that (if I get enough orders) I’ll start producing small series of CoolTanks for clients. Price per unit $15-20k, lead time 10 weeks.

I have 300 S19s.

I've reached out this these guys and I might go with them, as i seek UL listed components so i can have everything insured. Wish me luck!

Hi!

Your 300 units S19 probably gives you 30000TH. If you consider 2-phase immersion cooling, you would get extra 12000TH out of your 300 units. However, immersion firmware for S19 isn't available on the market yet, you can use Control boards from S17 to overclock your miners.

You could evermore improve your projects ROI, is you consider using 2-phase immersion cooling system - CoolTank 2.0.

The CoolTank 2.0 immersion module is designed for cooling high-performance ASIC hashing boards. The immersion module CoolTank 2.0 can operate in a closed room or outdoor at temperature conditions up to +55 degrees Celsius. CoolTank 2.0 utilizing 2-phase immersion technology does not require expensive water chillers, water cooling towers or adiabatic cooling systems.

The maximum capacity of the CoolTank 2.0 is 10 pcs. Antminer S19 Pro or WhatsMiner M30S++ (hereinafter - ASICs). User may choose to use ASICs without modification, i.e. keep heatsinks on hashing boards. In this case a user will be able to accommodate 10 ASICs only. This approach will allow a user to re-sell ASICs later in a mint conditions (no dust, no dirt, no burn spots). Alternatively, a user can remove heatsinks from hashing boards to accommodate 20 pcs. ASICs. The CoolTank 2.0 is not locked to Antminer S19 or WhatsMiner M30S++ only.

Financial analysis shows 13 months payback period and ROI (3 years) 170% for the CoolTank 2.0 with 10 ASICs.

Preliminary price for the CoolTank 2.0 will be in the range from $15000 to $20000 (Incoterms DAP – Dubai, UAE).

Features:
98% energy savings on cooling
40% mining profit increase
Preserve ASIC miner new condition for re-sale
2240 TH hashing power (normal use)
896 TH surplus due to overclock

The latter figure 896TH literally means that with CoolTank you can have the hashing power of 8+ units Antminer S19Pro (100TH) or Whatsminer M30S++ (112TH) without even buying it.

Here is an idea for your new mining farm setup - go for immersion cooling.

Some obvious benefits:
> 10x more miners at the same building
> fire suppression properties of immersion cooling fluid (Novec 1230 - used in fire fighting systems in data centers)
> get 40% more out of miners for you clients
> Miners will look line new after use in immersion liquid - you can sell used miner with premium when its time to upgrade
> save costs on CAPEX: facility air/water preparation equipment (no fans, no air filtration)
> save costs on OPEX: immersion cooling does not require much electricity for cooling
> quite mining operations, i.e. you can use mining farm building for the needs as well

Look into immersion cooling systems. If you select 2-phase immersion technology- than you will enjoy fire suppression properties of the cooling fluid inside tanks.

Hi!

If you want to get maximum profit from you 4MW, I would subject you take a closer look at immersion cooling technology. Immersion cooling being more effective than air cooling will bring higher equipment density and ability to overclock. Overclocking means using "free extra miners".

Please consider my project CoolTank 2.0 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5368372.0).

Hi!

I have relevant experience. I have installed my CoolTank 1.0 in the sea container located at the Jebel Ali Port (UAE). I had no internet connection available and no change to arrange it as non of cell provides agreed to drop internet cable to one container in the middle of nowhere.

I used TP-LINK 300Mbit/s-WLAN-Router 4G/LTE (https://www.tp-link.com/de/home-networking/3g-4g-router/tl-mr6400/). I purchased SIM card with internet package and had no issues.

Re: Are the T17e and S17e good ASIC for mining
by

Hi!

I would recommend to buy ASICs as cheap as possible and overclock them in 2-phase immersion cooling system https://www.thecooltank.com. Immersion cooling system ensures optimal ASICs temperature to extend life before repair.

For example:

1) Buy Antminer S17 Pro (50TH, 1975W) - 10 units
2) Buy CoolTank 2.0 - 1 unit
3) Prepare ASICs for immersion:
>insert hashing boards and control board in cassette
>insert PSU in pockets outside tank
4) Install immersion firmware (provided Mskminer, Braiins, Vnish)
5) Use "High power" mode to overclock ASICs by 40%

S17 Pro x 10 units x 40% (overclock) = 700TH (200TH surplus)

Use any profit calculations to estimate your profits:
700TH
27650 Watts

Mining hosting in Dubai / UAE
by

on 25/02/2018, 19:02:42 UTC
Hello all!

14.02.2018 I have started a pilot project to run my 20 miners in a dry sea 10" container. It is located in a secure place in Dubai port (UAE). Power is not problem here. A brief spec: I use 4G/LTE router to connect to internet, inner heat insulation, industrial AC split system, hot air exaust vents, racks. Last week I had an issue with frost inside inner AC module, but it is fixed now.

Total capacity of this container is 100 units of ASICs miners (like S9, L3+ etc).

I am ready to provide a test hosting service to interested miners. You will have direct access to your miners.

If you are interested, feel free to send me a message. I have pics, but can't upload it here.

Hello everyone!

There are a lot of people looking for a professional service to setup their own pools, coin exchange website and so on... I’m also looking for you.

If you are developer, please feel free to advertise yourself, so potential clients will want to send you PM.

Please provide links to you jobs and payment terms.
